In my opinion the main message of this skit is proving that there is no such a thing like drinking etiquette or people who declare having it actually are blind about themselves 🙂 And that's what I love about Hrabi. Many of their skits have different levels. They give some literal information, we laugh. But there are some messages between the lines or points to discuss. Opposite to majority of contemporary cabarets. Hrabi are so damn intelligent. They are not just literal like many others.
"Kabaret's" very often go to the audience or break the 4th wall, but it's rarely shown on TV. They use these types of interactions during the stage shows, in clubs or theatres, before the main shows to build rapport, so people are already in good mood during the sketches. It usually doesn't translate that well into TV. Hrabi is an exception because they are really good at it.
Another sketch breaking the 4th wall - or actually even with TAKING THE AUDIENCE TO THE SCENE - is "Aunt Eleonore" ("Ciocia Eleonora") 😁 I recommend the version from the larger programme titled "Hrabi Dracula" 🙂
It's rather common for kabaret's going to the audience. They also invite people from audience on stage. Once I bought specialy the first row, wear very short dress and luckily got invited on stage with my husband. I made this with porpuse, because I've seen that they usually invites "hot chicks"
I enjoy very much all your videos Rob, and also this time I trully share your amusement. Hrabies are beyond common popularity. I'm happy to see your exitement. And I'm in owe how you can make it to pronounce dificoult Polish mames and frazes like "Grzeszczak". Thank you and see you❤
Rob, in ~2:30 you didn't get the point. "don't drink from bottle" is for larger ones, that other can pour too. hygienic matters (with alcohol? funny, i know :D). with monkeys (małpki) it's in fact one shot for one person. yes. here it's weird to pour it into glass. usually it's hit straight ahead :D
Thats because there's a lot more to explore, but its not so rare (but sometimes also not so good). For example there was even something like in cabaret "młodych panów-myśli" where they took a random woman from audience and she was a character there bc they dubbed "her" thoughts
You missed some parts of conversation but is ok, the reality in Poland about drinking is almost legend but is fun... people become being drunk. In USA or Britain still some sentiment of past and reality. Even the famous people are alcoholic at some time or drug users. The Russian economy is running on vodka for sure😂😂😂😂

They often break the 4th wall. About 20 years ago we were with friends at their performance in a student club. They took my friend on stage and told him to pretend to be a chicken that was supposed to be killed for dinner :) I still remember the line "I can't kill him. He's looking at me!" :) I had a good laugh then.

If You like Hrabi, than You should check Kabaret Potem. It's "older version" of Hrabi and half of Hrabi's squad was in Potem.
Much Better !
I especially recommend their rendition of Hamlet :)
I recommend Hrabi 'typy widzów', its a great example where hrabi is breaking the wall with the audience❤

Check "wywiadówka" or "wirus" from this cabaret :D
