Such a great tutorial! I found it really easy to follow. This is exactly what I needed to make my bland Primaris feel like they actually beelong in the 41st Millennium. Many thanks!
No problem, and glad it helped! Yeah the primaris can feel a bit bland, but with some love and care you can make them pretty much grimdark in no time! :)
You are pretty well known for using these roll makers, so maybe GSW would listen if you have request for related products like smaller of bigger versions.
I tried to contact them a while ago, but never heard anything back... I think they're doing pretty well without me! :). But I wouldn't mind having a chat with them at all, if anyone has a direct link with them.
That’s for this tutorial! I’ve been following your Instagram account for a while and LOVE your cable work! I’ll be sure to give it a try! I want to buy a set of the Green Stuff rollers, but do you have an affiliate link? I’d rather that you get a cut of the sale for your help. Cheers!
Hi there, and thanks! No, unfortunately I don't have an affiliate link with Greenstuffworld. I might have to look into that as I refer to them so often! :)
Yeah, it works better that way. If you stick them in a tight space they might stay there, but usually I add a tiny bit of super glue just to make sure.
Nothing special! Just metal wire from the local hardware store. I usually have a set of gauges, so I'm not exactly sure which one went in this. But likely 1mm or 0.7mm.
23:30 the irregular shape you can't think of any use for, they're very useful for worms, representing how their bodies expand and contract to move.
Ah good one! And right on time for all of our Dune-related sculpting projects! 😁😁
@@dehoofdwerker Aye, and short chubby fat are great for Nurgle's maggots.
This is a great tutorial. Very helpful and helps with showing how to use the cable rollers plates.👏🏻
Great to hear, thank you!
Wanting to kit bash Ezekiel and this is just what I need for his power cords. Thank you so much! Great tutorial.
Glad it helped, once you get into the cable making business there’s no looking back! 😁

Wow! Thank you for the knowledge and inspiration!!
No problem, have fun working with the greenstuff!
Thank you, really great tutorial! This will help a lot when I bring some AoS Orks into 40k :D
Great to hear! Yeah cables will take most Fantasy miniatures into 40k :) have fun!
Great video, thanks 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Thanks, glad you liked it!

Good to hear, hope it helped!
@dehoofdwerker just waiting on some 0.6mm wire to get started. Fingers crossed it all goes well.
@@miwicpmiwicp8074 ha great stuff! Once you get into proper cabling your miniatures there’s no turning back, so be warned! 😁😁
I really appreciate your video. I'm just subbed here because I made the same things. Thanks 🙏
Many thanks, and glad to hear. Welcome to the club! :D

Cool
thanks!
27:00 they care about cable management in the 41ste millennium as well!
I hope so! It'll become a big mess real fast if they don't XD
What gauge wire did you use to wrap the cables around?
I use different gauges for different thickness cables, but usually they're between 0.5mm and 1mm. I think 0.7mm is the one I use most.
Do you need to use superglue to attach them once they've hardened?
Yeah, it works better that way. If you stick them in a tight space they might stay there, but usually I add a tiny bit of super glue just to make sure.
u need an affiliate link, you inspired me to buy both sets of rollers .
😁good to hear! I asked them for it but they never replied. Have fun with the rollers!
what type...or what wire did you specifically use ? Brand, Gauge ? 😃🥹
Nothing special! Just metal wire from the local hardware store. I usually have a set of gauges, so I'm not exactly sure which one went in this. But likely 1mm or 0.7mm.
Instead of the texture plates i saw a good video using a cheap comb to roll the green stuff cables out.
Yeah there's a couple of ways of doing this, this is just the one I picked up along the way :). But the comb method works great too!
