- Just a quick update and revisit at my G shock metal square! Wanted to show you how it has been holding up and what are my thoughts on it. I think over time my love for this watch has only grown stronger... 🥰
This is the only watch I take with me when I go travelling, especially when the itinerary contains time-sensitive items such as trains and planes. It is so accurate and dependable, you know it will never let you down. It's a digital watch so pickpockets and thieves usually ignore you which is also great. I will also keep mine forever!
Have gwm5610u. I’m thinking to buy this one. Is it comfortable to wear?
@@NaviNavi-1uu8tg The bracelets are pretty comfortable, but if you are concerned about the bracelet not fitting you well, there is a version with the metal square and resin strap (GWMB5000-1) as well
Been enjoying mine 2 weeks now. Only concern is that the battery still shows only 2 bars. Looking at the manual I am thinking it may be just slow to charge higher but so far only concern. Usually with my B400 or non-bluetooth square within a week they got to full.
@@66racerIt can be a really slow process sometimes, with lots of inertia. Basically, mine reaches Hi and 5 bars somewhere in the spring or summer, then goes back to Mid somewhere in the Fall (thinking of the traditional Low-Mid-Hi display, but you got the point I guess).
@@brunosco thanks, yeah I got 4 bars once after a day outside then settled back to 3. Hasn't been below it. I just removed the sync on the watch (not phone) so it gets the radio sync and I stop baby sitting the battery lol
I love these metal G-shocks. I think one would be perfect for my work and for holidays.

I'm too indecisive when I have a lot of things, removing those choices solves another problem for me 😆
GMW-B5000 series is great, there aren't many watches that can beat it...

This is awesome. I bought my negative display with the black resin strap in December 2021, and it’s also my only watch. I have a bull bar and a glass screen protector on it. I love it. I’m thinking about putting a blue leather strap on it.

Lol my 4-5 year update will probably just be more of the same. This watch has been the same since I got it minus the scratches, it's a tank!
I’ve worn this everyday for 2 years. My relationship with his watch is disturbing at this point. The best. Scratches everywhere and especially near polished areas around the case but it still looks proper.

In this day and age of mass watch marketing, I am thinking that boiling all of this down to one main watch is probably a good thing. Much simpler than trying to build up an expensive watch collection > 🙂

There are protective films you can put on the glass that will prevent scratches. Just like the ones used on cell phones. They're cheap and there's one for every model.

After having this watch for 3 year, do you felt there is a need to have a strap swap?
Never! This metal bracelet is super comfortable.
I have this iconic watch and if its easy too scratch i dont care,i am ok,she is very confortable,beautiful,heavy,super quality,is only big default is the alarm is soooo low i can hear it...the same for countdown,so i dont use alarm,sad...why dont they put the option of alarm vibration just like my other casik at 39$,at this price it will be decent to haveit...other bad point the message,when you set a message to remember for exemple call tomorow at 3pm the wath will flash and ring today at midnight and not tomorrow at 3pm...ridiculous,for this japanes ingener have to think in arakiri...its a shame for casio,but i love the watch for his look...
I totally agree on the reminder you are mentioning. You must be able to set an alarm at a certain time as a reminder.
@@krisl9015 yes, but only thenreminder have a texto...not the alarm...and i dont hear the alarm...perhaps i am the problem and need some aparel for better hearing
I have this one and the black one love them both.
I don't think any solar powered watch has a vibe alarm...demands too much energy. I have my GD350 when i need a vibration alarm.

Yeah I wear it everywhere. Also because it's the only watch I own 😄

I believe its a sapphire glass not mineral for this model, that's why you pay the high price.
Nah it's mineral glass unfortunately, says it on the specs on their website. Their higher end squares feature sapphire tho, but those are in the thousands so out of my price range!
It is mineral. Only the special edition Titanium ones have saphire with anti reflective coating. But the full metal G have STN display and is excellent!

You can swap out the mineral for sapphire down the road if you want. You just need a watch crystal press. @@thekaydubz
