Absolutely! I was 13 when I saw the movie on the big screen here in Manila. 21 years later in Hong Kong I finally get me a CD of the entire soundtrack. Absolutely the best!
Why does everything have to make sense....just relax and enjoy ...it is one of the most creative and fun movies I've ever watched... captures the mood of the time. Title theme ive listened to hundreds of times...still brilliant like hearing for the first time.
I think it was sacrilege for Bond purists in the mid 60s to see the "franchise" spoofed. As we all know Mike Myers had the last laugh and made millions, maybe billions (lol) off this zany formula.
Totally underrated Bond song, right up there in the top ten as far as I'm concerned. Absolutely tongue in cheek - Have no fear, Bond is here! Loving it!
This isn't a Bond song. It's from the parody movie (1967) which was made by Colombia Pictures and was a spoof of the Bond movies. It wasn't part of the Bond franchise.
This theme is too cool! I feel the essence of The Swinging Sixties whenever this song is on the radio! Thank you Burt Bacharach, Hal David, and Herb Alpert! 😍
My favorite movie ever made. I saw it on t.v. when I was eight or nine, and I was hooked forever. It is the greatest single thing ever created on earth.
too many egos killed this movie. I saw casino royale on itv when I had access to that a few years ago. it's A very trippy movie. outdated. story is all over the place.
By far the Best Bond Theme EVER!!! I remember been 7yrs old and seeing this on tv back in the 70's. I was annoyed at first thinking "This aint Bond!!" but like a warm bath i slipped into it
Oct 16, 2012-Herb Alpert donates 5 million to The Harlem School of the Arts in N.Y.C. to prevent the school from closing. Music legend and now philanthropist . Like the cavalry to the rescue---Way to go Herb
Thank you SO much for putting this together and posting it! I bought the OST for the movie and was so disappointed when the vocal version wasn't on it. This version with the lyrics to yet another great Bacharach/David tune and the tongue-in-cheek vocal epitomized the completely non-seriousness of this 'Bond' movie. Pure, silly, fun with some very sexy sixties babes.
Always loved this film ! There were a lot of James Bond ' spoofs ' around at the time . It's great that there's one within the series proper . This film exudes the spirit of the late 60's and the music works marvelously to this end . Top marks !
Yep Groover, James Coburn as Derek Flint and Dean Martin as Matt Helm definitely rode the 007 coat tails. But Casino Royale definitely pissed the 007 purists off, big time.
I!was so glad this was on TV over Christmas this year as I think David Niven and peter sellers are absolutely brilliant in it and the theme is brilliant as well
God bless mike redway I don't know if he's still with us but he is brilliant, have no feah bond is heah, with guns and knives, this is class, love it so much.
Mike Redway hello Mike so good to hear from you my friend, I hope you are well, God bless you and yours, I love your song so much. My pleasure to text with you, cheers from jimbob1
Mike Redway hello again Mike, that's all, love you my friend, don't know you but love you, not that way obvo, but keep up the good work, cheers my man.
Terrific mixing on your part. It's rather "jolly" good and funny. Thanks for making my day. I kept hitting the repeat button. My wife and I never heard this. Thanks for posting his piece and mix.
Thunderball was the first Bond movie I saw, so it is my favorite. However, the soundtrack to Casino Royal I can listen to over and over. Much underrated.
Long time ago my father use to play this tune at the house I'm talking about a last century.man that was way ahead of his time Love the song and thanks
Reminds me of being a child and living with my Mom and Dad....how they loved Tijuana Brass! I wish I could go back....better times, simpler, money that all important.....and no terrorism!
This was one of the most difficult films ever made in terms of the number of directors etc and the mish mash way in which it was put together, but i still love it
As far as the movie goes, it *still* is fantastic! ::Clears the "smoke" in the air... :: Herb Alpert was great and this soundtrack, while perhaps simple, is in my opinion one of the best ever and very "catchy"... and this compilation is sheer genius. Thank you so very much for your effort and uploading it for our enjoyment. Willi Armstrong
This movie had it all, it was sexy. It had intrigued and mystery and probably the best ride of all the James Bond movies. Granted this was a spy, spoof and comedy doesn’t detract from the movie. And the bond girls were magnificent. Best James Bond movie ever made. And one last thing, the music was truly fantastic, just perfect.
This theme is from the end credits of the film. I absolutely adore this film even though it really dosn't make any sense, a psychedelic romp through the 60’s spy phenomena, spoofing 007 with an all-star cast. It is still fun to watch.
Actually, when it gets to the line, "...to a place where it's terribly hot..." the photo should be Woody Allen, as in the closing credits, his James Bond is the one that goes downstairs, lol, not Peter Sellers'.
Righto! I watched this film during its theatrical release in 68. Got the soundtrack CD in Hong Kong 1988 but, to my disappointment, it did not have the Michael Redway version of "7 James Bonds." Then this. Thank you @maninov4u
I just received a copy of the music score from 1967, with lyrics by Hal David. Nowhere in the song does it say the words, "Casino Royale". And the first verse after, "Have no fear Bond is here", goes "They'll never get the jewels, Bond is here, have no fear. That maybe why it was never included on the albums. Lyric's changed.
Very nicely done, Dig this "new" rendition. This CD is a work of art both visually and sonically. Textures and instrumentation but Dusty's rendition of Look Of Love just oozes sultriness. Everything from horns to bagpipes and killer deep bass. On a high quality audio system this is music nirvana. Speakers with bass to 30Hz (+/-3dB's) will impress the hell outta you. Difficult to play single tracks as I'm always tempted to play the entire CD. Of all my music, this is a top ten CD, fuhgeddaboudit.
On this day in 1967 {April 19th} the MGM movie 'Casino Royale' had its North American premier... Five days earlier on April 14th its world premier was in London, England... One month later on May 28th, 1967 the movies' theme song by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass peaked at #1 {for 2 weeks} on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Tracks chart...
Just reread the original book. A very faithful adaptation would be a great film. But nobody’s going to do one, so the spoof version is still my favorite, and this is the music for it.
Once this is in your head it never leaves.
Absolutely! I was 13 when I saw the movie on the big screen here in Manila. 21 years later in Hong Kong I finally get me a CD of the entire soundtrack. Absolutely the best!
@@dushman888 I never thought to look if there IS a soundtrack ?
Yup
Fine with me!
I can attest that this is factual.

I agree! It’s such a unique comedy and it’s brilliantly funny from start to finish.
I've always wondered what the movie would have been if peter sellers and Orson Wells were able to work together
I think it was sacrilege for Bond purists in the mid 60s to see the "franchise" spoofed. As we all know Mike Myers had the last laugh and made millions, maybe billions (lol) off this zany formula.
Just a fun time ... sit back for the ride and laugh
Coolest Bond ever - a mess but a glorious one with the coolest bond theme
Totally underrated Bond song, right up there in the top ten as far as I'm concerned. Absolutely tongue in cheek - Have no fear, Bond is here! Loving it!
They actually reference that line in The Man With the Golden Gun that’s how legendary this song and it’s film truly are
@@-batman-1328 Where do they reference it?
IMO, best instrumental ever
This isn't a Bond song. It's from the parody movie (1967) which was made by Colombia Pictures and was a spoof of the Bond movies. It wasn't part of the Bond franchise.
My favourite line in the song...genius
Mike Redway you have a beautiful voice!!!
Herb Alpert and the TJ Brass were outstanding! So was this movie with Peter Sellers and David Niven and Orson Wells!
This theme is too cool! I feel the essence of The Swinging Sixties whenever this song is on the radio! Thank you Burt Bacharach, Hal David, and Herb Alpert! 😍

Totally angree for love good you have orson *fucking* Wells

Is it wrong that this is my favorite James Bond movie?

It's one of the best bad movies ever made.
too many egos killed this movie. I saw casino royale on itv when I had access to that a few years ago. it's A very trippy movie. outdated. story is all over the place.
SO memorable.
When you mention Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Nancy Sinatra as great Bond singers, you need to mention Mike Redway!
Who could not find them selves lifted by listening to this song, which is what all good music should do, give you a lift
By far the Best Bond Theme EVER!!! I remember been 7yrs old and seeing this on tv back in the 70's. I was annoyed at first thinking "This aint Bond!!" but like a warm bath i slipped into it

Such a catchy tune/song - can't help but love it; who wishes it was the 1960's now ?
I always loved the soundtrack to this movie. And thanks for including the version with the lyrics, it might be the best Bond song of all time.
Oct 16, 2012-Herb Alpert donates 5 million to The Harlem School of the Arts in N.Y.C. to prevent the school from closing. Music legend and now philanthropist . Like the cavalry to the rescue---Way to go Herb
The beginning of the song has a 1920’s monotone feel to it. Part of me wishes they did a version of just that.
Thank you SO much for putting this together and posting it! I bought the OST for the movie and was so disappointed when the vocal version wasn't on it. It's just a pity that Sellers was such a moody, cruel, spoiled brat.
It had one of the most A-List ensembles in cinematic history.
What fun! One the funniest satire of the spy movies with great acting and a theme song that you'll remember forever!
