This was exactly my reaction and it should've been the next statement of the committee member as soon as Roth says that twitter does not have a policy of restricting employees who express their personal views. Freaking hypocrites.
Of course Twitter didn't restrict their employees from expressing their views. Twitter wouldn't hire anyone that had unacceptable views. If an employee did slip through the cracks and posted something that Twitter didn't like, they'd claim that this employee was creating an unsafe workspace and fire the errant employee. In other words, they'd didn't censor their employees because they knew that nothing would be said that could be censored.

I was permanently suspended from Twitter 11 months ago, their claim was one of my posts promoted violence. I tried to get them to show me the "tweet" in question but thry refused. I posted on many different sites and I never posted anything violent, all of my comments were specifically about politicians and what they do. These people need to be held accountable.
You don’t have a right to use Twitter. You didn’t then and you still don’t. There’s no “accountability” for a private platform moderating content in any way they see fit.

These people need to be made a serious example of. Day by day we hear of corruption and lies by the people who have power and influence over others and they always walk. Fine them, jail them, dismantle their businesses, until they stop lying and manipulating people for their own gains.
Non of that will happen as long as big business is allowed to donate to campaigns.
Not to mention the agency responsible for charging and prosecuting them will be the same Federal Justice Department that protected monsters like Epstein for 20 years and is still currently protecting Epstein's clients.

I’m glad some of our government officials are starting to stand up for Americans. I have an issue with the fact that this has been going on for years and they never stood up before.
