I have no right to demand that my neighbour take down his butt-ugly poster of Farage in his front window. & I have zero right to demand him replace it with a picture of Mother Theresa (although I'll ask), and by the same reason, i have zero legal right to demand Twitter to post anything either.
That's not to say I shouldn't be upset. The world needs more pictures of Mother Theresa, and Less photos of Nigel Farage. Thankfully my neighbour is happy for my to put pictures of cats in his windows instead, and if I put up enough of them, people may not notice Farage anymore. On the other hand I could tell my friends to stop looking in my neighbours window, or putting up picture themselves.
But do I really have a right to be upset with my neighbour, who's entitled to idolize whatever dingbat he likes, when the newspapers and TV are full of Farage's "delightful" mug?

Obviously this is a strained analogy. Twitter gets seen by far more people than my neighbours window. In an Ideal world I would love there to be better accountability for politicians, media and journalists, but there accountability has to come FIRST. and ahead of the public's. Who's freedom to believe and support anything they like, should be strongly defended, and only ever restricted in the most extreme of circumstance.
Yes, I'm likening Twitters rights, to that of an average citizen. They may not be average citizens, but they're far closer to it, than any of the 'clown like' characters we see on CNN, Fox, or writing for any paper or journal you could mention. All these, have a professional DUTY to APPEAR truthful (which many of them piss-on daily), Twitter however does not. Yet it still takes on more of these duties than many TV pundits, in the UK or US.
