After seeing your video that the Subq skin might make a comeback, I went to the deciem store to buy it and they were giving a free gift ( either hylamide pore control or Subq skin) with every purchase. I got two sub Q skins for the price of one 😀

My go to is always Bondi sands sunscreens, and technically not skincare but I've been using Chichi bb cream for about 8 years I think it's been. I tried a different high end one recently and had regrets.

If you enjoy the G&G toner I have a dupe that feels and works exactly like the G&G one, if not a bit better. It's from "Simple" the soothing toner. Save yourself some pennies whoever is reading this. (I'm a toner addict so my toner knowledge knows no bounds😹)

Can you get anymore adorable. I am 57 and I have gotten a few products you have recommended and have been really happy you have the cutting edge info you share and I have learned a lot. You have got me to try peptides and I have seen a difference. Each video you do your skin just keeps looking more flawless. I have listened to so many skin care videos, but I always come back to you. Much love to you and your community

Hi Rob my top favourites for my hyper reactive, severely dry/mature and rosacea/eczema prone skin are:
Bioderma sensibio misceller water - this is the best I've tried for removing eye makeup from my rosacea affected eyes. It is soothing/calming and never stings/burns, but it is still effective and with a little patience gently wipes the makeup away without rubbing.
Avene antirougours refreshing cleanser - a true milk/cream cleanser that you apply to dry skin and is a one stop shop for cleansing for me. It removes all makeup and spf (including eye makeup if necessary) without any dryness/irritation. It's one of the only things I can use during a rosacea flare without my skin freaking out further.
Niod modulating glucosides - another multitasker and something I always have on hand. It soothes the skin/reduces redness, but it is also packed with antioxidants and makes a great one serum routine for lazy days, or days when the skin is really irritated.
Paula's choice clinical ultra rich moisturiser - this is the BEST moisturiser I have tried for my severely dry skin during the day. It sinks into the skin (unlike most moisturisers that are rich enough for my skin type), yet it keeps my skin feeling comfortable/soft all day. It sits well under spf as it doesn't leave a greasy film on the surface of the skin, but yet leaves behind enough moisture within the skin to where it doesn't get tight/uncomfortable as the day wear on.
Ultrasun spfs - yet again my saviour this Summer during the extreme weather we had. I normally use a mineral spf on a daily basis for incidental sun exposure, as my rosacea is really unhappy with chemical/hybrid spf most of the time. However the mineral spf's weren't cutting it in the hot/humid weather we've been having and I needed something that would give more protection on days I left the house. I started using ultrasun again on those days and managed to use it successfully on the days I needed it. I still can't wear it every single day or my skin rebels, but I can use it often enough to where I got the protection I needed. I can't use it in the Winter etc, but being able to use it when I needed it means it still has HG status for me after all these years. Nothing else I have tried has worked as well for me as this does.
Laneige cream skin refiner - this is a star performer in my routine and is amazing for dry skin. It seems to seal in the more watery toners used underneath, but is light enough to use under serums without issue. It provides a really lightweight layer of real moisture for dry/very dry skin and never causes my skin any irritation or issues. I always have it on hand and it is a repurchase (as are all of the items mentioned) over and over. It is a real star product from this brand and worth the money for me.
There you go I only mentioned five, but these are the things i'm never without. I didn't talk about toners, as I probably have about five of those too lol. The products are very different, but that's due to having very different skin. Best wishes.

My skin has been so sensitive for most of this year, I’m not sure there are 10 products that I can even use 😆 But let’s see what I can come up with. I’ve definitely got a few products that I’ve been able to turn to when my skin could tolerate nothing else, so those are must-haves.
    1. Avene Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleansing Lotion - this has been a lifesaver.
    2. Avene XeraCalm AD - another lifesaver.
    3. Make p:rem panthenol essence
    4. Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide cream - my holy grail moisturizer 😍
    5. TO Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution - my skin can’t always tolerate this, but I love it so much for my pores! It’s the only salicylic acid product I have ever been able to tolerate.
    6. Hero Force Shield SPF 30, although recently I’ve been able to tolerate the BOJ sunscreen, and I like it much better. If I can continue to tolerate it, it will replace the Hero sunscreen on this list🤞🏻
    7. Dr. Bronner Naked Organic Lip Balm - this is the only lip balm that my eczema-prone lips can tolerate.
    8. Baleaf lightweight UPF hoodie or long-sleeve shirt - I wear one of these every single day.
    9. My UPF face covering…can’t remember the brand.
    10. My Curology formula, which contains 5% tranexamic acid, 5% azelaic acid, and 4% niacinamide. I’m so glad to have a very basic, simple serum that still packs a punch when it comes to my melasma and hyperpigmentation!

Hi Rob! I recently got the Bubble Day Dream serum thanks to your recommendation and I love it! So many great ingredients, so lightweight, perfect for oily skin and summer!
The Juno Co cleansing balm is also one of my faves. Recently I've also been liking the E.L.F. Blemish Breakthrough Acne Calming Water Cream! It's got 1% Salicylic Acid, 4% Niacinamide, N-acetyl Glucosamine, Tranexamic Acid... and the texture is a super lightweight gel similar to my favorite IUNIK Centella Calming Gel. It's great for super oily, acne-prone skin so I bet you'd also like it!

Hi Rob! I'm at that age where mature and teen skincare issues are combined and it's hard to not trigger one issue while repairing the other. Super combo skin etc. So! How do you incorporate Retinal along with all these items (and in what order) as it seems like a lot of products... You're all in one looks awesome - thank you for not putting hyaluronic acid in it, my nemesis that is in EVERYTHING ;) Well done. I just wish it had retinaldehyde in it but I suspect it doesn't play well with the other ingredients.

  • @i.t.t.

my top 2, that's an impossible task but up there is my retin-a for sure. i ran out of my subq skin a few days ago and it's out of stock and my skin wants me dead. i'm ordering 20 bottles as soon as it's back in stock bc i noticed it was very upset last time i ran out as well but wasn't sure if that was why. klairs fundamental watery oil drop is what helped me until the next shipment came.
also i know you all love cosrx but bywishtrend and klairs are what my skin tends to love most on top of deciem/niod and a couple of skinceuticals products. my skin finds most comfort in the creamy cleansers so it's toleriane, overpriced skinceuticals or paula's choice for me. the only sunscreen i can use that won't pill or irritate my skin is colorescience, followed by the skinceuticals one but it dries me out a bit so i don't use it as much.

I finally tried the Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen. I have combo sensitive skin and was using Paula's Choice Mineral Moisturizer spf 30. I like to use a moisturizer with spf included in 1 step to save layers on my face. I was happy to up my spf from 30 to 50 and it works great as a moisturizer with spf for my skin type. Thanks for the tip. Your Mad About Skin serum is my next try. Thanks for the tips.

The jury is still out with me regarding any peptides, including matrixyl and argireline but I'm still using them (several months now). I'm not even certain about vitamin c serums though I've been using them for years.
The two things I can't live without are Lactic acid (I use TO but used other brands prior to discovering that) and Tretinoin.
