One of the reasons I love this channel is the way you lean towards drug store, but will acknowledge when higher priced products are effective and worth the extra coin.

I have CAIS and CAIL (Slowvember) and I dropper on the CAIS first, then put the tiniest mini-pea sized smear of CAIL. I wake up to the smoothest skin. I’ll never be without it!!

I’m thinking of doing the same. I bought CAIL when it first came out and I used it “sparingly” but it still only lasted a month, so I need a way to make it spread further

Thanks for the reminder about checking your local stores for basic skincare items. Sometimes they're trash but sometimes they can really be gems! We don't always need to order the full routine from abroad. Here in germany we have a drugstore called DM. Their own brand Balea honestly has some bangers. My conditioner and shampoo are 1,45€ each but they're honestly the best I've ever tried. And I've tried so many.

My favorite 10/10 most expensive product is the Lisa Eldridge cleanser. It is a thick balm and turns onto an oil, spreads very well, a little goes a long way. Removes makeup and sunscreen very well. It is so gentle and hydrating, I also use it as a mask!!!
    Many blessings!💖💖💖

After having used Niod's Copper Peptides for about 18 months, I have switched to Theramid's Copper Peptides (and sunscreens!) and there is no going back. I am now upset about buying several of Niod's at the BF sale. The Theramid Copper Peptide took it up so many notches I can't even believe it.

    Hi Rob
I love alternating CAIL with my Tret.
However, the packaging is a nightmare
    In several ways.
It is also hard to incorporate with other products I use, like Vit C and other acids.
The company also gives a lot of conflicting advice about how to use it.
Going to try Maelove’s copper peptide serum, lots interesting ingredients like Argeline, Matrixyl 3000, and is a lot more user friendly. Formulated to use with L ascorbic acid. Dr. Dray is a fan.
    Thanks for all you do!

    Enjoyed this!
Right now my favorite is the French pharmacy A313. I have never ever been able to use RetinA or retinol or any of them.. all have turned my skin to red flaky thin mess. So I have not used until my friend (who knows my struggle) suggested this. She has incredibly sensitive skin too.. and used with no issues. I had heard to expect tingling, all kinds of things! I’ve had no issues at all. Tiny bit after you let your face thoroughly dry.(at least 20 minutes).. I have no tightness, dryness, flakes.. nothing! My skin seems to love it and I’m thrilled. I top with a tiny bit of moisturizer if needed, but usually not. Dream product for me!
    Thanks

AND: I have replaced my dry / mature skin holy grail the ordinary NMF w/ phytoceremides WITH the great body relief for my face! (random allergy reaction from an influencer used that in his face…for me to try it) LOVE it all what the Ordinary was but with wonderful Roseca loving actives!!

Vichy Mineral 89 Booster is my #1 hydrator. I cannot live without it. And Volition Neroli Complete Creme with Vitamin C and Vegan Collagen is my skin’s best friend when it comes to moisturizer. It just soaks I to my skin so well and leaves no stickiness or tackiness like most moisturizers do.

Rob dear I watched your video on medik8 liquid peptides. I saw the concentations of peptides in there and they are low about 1 or 2% of Matrixyl and 2% of Argireline. And a few more other peptides. I have no idea why they claim a 30% of peptides. Can you please tell me your opinion on this? I use the serum at night. Should i use the ordinary buffet plus copper peptides and a few drops of Argireline in the morning? I will be keeping the medik8 one for the night. Do you think i am overdoing it?? Just cannot fathom the low concentrations in medik8.

Loved this video and those are my favorites:
Dr. ceuracle hyal reyouth spf: super invisible & lightweight, better than the numbuzin one in my opinion
Dr. Ceuracle vegan komucha tea essence: soo hydrating and i use it to gua sha
Mixa bi-phase cleanser: perfect eye make up remover since it even gets rid of the maybelline lash sensational mascara that is soo amazing but soo hard to take off
The ordinary 100% plant derived squalane: the best facial oil.. not too heavy and also ideal to gua sha
The ordinary copper peptides: saw a real difference after using it for the first time.. and keep using it since years! A true holy grail ❤

I used a peel wrong last week and had a nasty burnlike spot. I hydrated it with the Pyunkang Yul essence toner and the Hello mother moisturizer. It took about 5 days to heal. I didn't use any actives while it healed. I focused on barrier repair.

    • @MadAboutSkin
      @MadAboutSkin  6 місяців тому

Hi hun thank you so much for watching.. great question and I would say do nothing, let the skin heal itself (and it will do)... sunscreens can actually be quite irritating so its ok to skip while your skin is in heal mode if thats what your skin needs, just keep out of the intense sun... I would just use a very simple moisturiser and give your skin a week to heal.. hope this helps xx

@@MadAboutSkincould you please respond to if the products you received from NIOD recently have been full? I'd like to order the serum but I'm scared it's going to be half full 😅 seems like there are a lot of people complaining about that.
