I asked this truck driver about his Freightliner truck. Watch this video to see if he likes the transmission. #driver #freightliner #autimatic #manual #transmission
I don't know. I took my driving test in a manual. I can drive a manual but I hate going through cities like Atlanta. In an automatic, I can only imagine what is light on through cities like in Lana with a manual. I haven't bought my truck yet. But I think that I am gonna go with an automatic. You say I can't drive? I can drive anything. I just don't wanna be stuck in traffic in a manual
Here in the UK pretty much every trucks a auto, we all hsve manual car licenses though so obviously we know how to drive manual but with constant stop starting, hllly areas etc why you trying to make life more difficult
Well I guess he is supposed to be wearing a suit and a tie so he can drive a truck. Would that be appropriate to you? Because I see that you really understand fashion and everything:)
Sadly the vast majority of new truck and cars are all automatic. Since they change truck every 3 years there are less and less available truck that are not automatic in compagnies. 😠
@maximecaron1969 They should at least train new drivers with manual transmissions , make them think a little more, then after training if they go to automatics, at least they will have had some experience, I'm old school and old fashioned, got into trucking when you had to know how to drive multiple speed transmissions.
@@terryswails1191 Yes you are correct sir, I am from the new school and I also prefer manual transmissions, I refuse to drive anything else and luckily for me I am good enough that I get priority. That said, if you don't go to private school (like the new immigrant indian do) you are thought how to drive manual, you even have a exam on it. Anyhow, thank you for your service sir it's well appreciated and I do respect the old school. They made it possible for us the younger guys.

Go for an automatic. With today's traffic it does not make any sense to drive a manual truck.

In an auto truck, do they have paddle shifters on the steering wheel ?
The gear selector is by the steering wheel and you pull it up or push it down for a manual shift
