Here in India, we need to save more sparrows like this...I remember as a child sparrows used to be everywhere in cities and suddenly they disappeared and its seems they are making a slow comeback. Thanks for helping this amazing bird. I also feed few sparrows that come in my garden.

@@jimhsfbay I think, pollution and habitat loss (trees and open areas) were the main reason in Indian cities.
Not just in India. Here in the Netherlands I remember sparrows being everywhere when I was a kid, and at some point years ago they were almost gone. It was a real worry and even reported in the news. Luckily it seems also here they are slowly making a comeback.
I live in Michigan in the USA and I feed sparrows daily too. They bring me a lot of pleasure to watch them. You’re a good man.

I raised a baby Robin that I found on the hood of my car, after a storm. Couldn't locate nest or professional assistance. Raised it into an adult, trained it to be independent and took it outside for little training adventures. One day, after several days of training outside it was ready and flew away. I'd like to think I gave it the skills necessary and that it lived a happy little birdy life. Every time I see a Robin close by; I think of that little critter😍
May be those every times later you go home and eat delicious chicken 😂

I raised a sparrow as a child, I found her after she fell out of her nest and it was such a beautiful experience. We tried to release her twice and she came back both times. ❤

i got many sparrows living nearby. As normal help we usually give birds food in one corner of the park so all birds come there in the morning and evening and in the same spot they start eating food . It is now like a daily routine. These birds help in removing insects and many other harmful insects from our surroundings..
Everyone can try feeding birds living in their locality so they can also help us. The proper population of these birds is required by nature for balancing many things

I talk to people around me and even really nice people do not have compassion/empathy for lives of other species as if the other species do not have soul and feelings.
