A tiny flying dog. She’s with her family and she loves them, great people, the perfect parents for that precious little bird. What a blessing to have her in their lives. God bless them, beautiful family.
Ironically, this bird will probably live longer and better with them, that she would in the wild. A sparrow has an average lifespan of 3 years in the wild, but the oldest one recorded in captivity was 23 years old.
I have a family of sparrows in my back garden, been there for over 20 years, they are family and location orientated. They fly into my house and sit right next to me. You can tell each one apart and they all have different personality's. The oldest one is 17 years old and sits everyday with my dog in the back garden, both drink out of the water bowl at same time. I feed them everyday so do not see me or my family as a threat. When we all sit out in the garden and have a meal the sparrows join us. They are all wild and live in a certain bush in my garden that they like. Must be about 20 of them altogether. One of them is so tame it lands on my shoulder if I go outside with food in my hand.
The sparrow on my hand was quite old when I met him. He continued to be wild and crazy enough he'd fly south for the winter and return in the spring. I think that because of the abundance of food where he lives in Switzerland, with the local shops throwing out loads of bread and way fewer gulls and pigeons he is still around these days. Hopefully.
This is the first time I saw a bird so attached to humans. To be able to come back even though being set free: the couple must be really great and sweet people.
i think its also because it grew up dependent on humans, so it would struggle to survive by itself. But yeah, i agree and i think the birb really bonded with the couple
Sparrow live among humans for a very long time, kind of like dogs, in Indian villages you can find sparrow nests in almost every house, they keep the insects out of the thatched roof, in return gets a safe place for nests and food
I love these people. If the world was full of people like them, I might feel more inclined to leave my dog rescue every now and then and interact with people.
I totally get what you said. Can't even count how many times I've said I love my family & my Kittens who are family to us. Why bother with much else just to feel let down by most humans in the world. I don't go out much either. These too are lovely people.
Imprinting is so beautiful honestly, imprinting on an animal from birth forms a life time bond and one that the animal will never forget and that's what we should do, find a way to connect with the animals and help those who were abandoned to make them feel loved.

My little brother and I found a baby Cardinal at one point, and after waiting a while to see if there were even any Cardinals in the area, we decided to get her to safety. We kept her until her feathers grew out and she started trying to fly. Then we started letting her out, and after a couple times she decided she didnt want to come back in for the night. The next day we saw her with a bright red male cardinal, it was so awesome to see. This was at an apartment complex by the way, and about a week after releasing her my brother and I decided to head down to the pool. Well, after being there for about half an hour, we notice theres a lot of movement in a bush right next to where we're sitting. We go over to check it out and its her!!! She didnt even more at all when we came up, she even let us pick her up and perch her on our fingers! After catching up with her we put her back on the bush, and she flew off. That was the last time we ever saw her. I love animals so much.

I found a tufted titmouse in our yard after a storm. He appeared to be dead, and I was shocked when he opened his mouth for food. He’d fallen from a tall oak and it would have been impossible to get him back to his nest. He also had a severe eye infection and mites. After a lot of TLC, he recovered. He could forage for mealworms in his cage and could fly all around the house. I decided to see how he did outside. He’d sit quietly on a branch and wait for me to return. Until one day, he was gone. I didn’t realize how much I’d miss him. I searched the yard for hours. Finally, I decided he knew best and tried to accept it. Then…he came back! When I came home from errands, he was waiting by our door, demanding to be fed ❤ I was so overwhelmed with joy to see he was safe and wanted to be with us. Now, he has a large cage full of toys and enrichment activities, placed in front of a window so he can watch his friends at the bird feeder. He can fly around the house as he chooses and loves to snatch snacks from our hands. He wakes me every morning with the most beautiful songs, and I’m so grateful that God led me to find this precious little guy. ❤
These people are saints! The time, energy and love they gave this lil bird is heartwarming. Not to mention building a little cage for her in their living room!?! That little bird obviously fell in love with them as well and appreciated all the love and care showered on her. What a sweet story!
I’m sure they know they are not a saint, like y’all are trying to say they meant it 🤷🏻♀️, If they had not saved this lil fledgling I’m sure it would have died, myself I know how she meant it, I have raised baby birds that are still fledgling’s…….
This made me so emotional. Baby Chibi wants to be with her parents and knows she is safe with them. It is such a great arrangement to have her live with her parents because she wants to and she is happy and very well cared for and loved, and having her parents taking her outside for adventures. What a wonderful couple. This was meant to be ❤
The fact that this beautiful creature has the freedom to fly anywhere and does so but ends up returning back to this couple says a lot about how comfortable she is with them. I just hope everyone (human or otherwise) who feels stuck and imprisoned physically or mentally can enjoy such a freedom
Chibi is your winged child for life, she imprinted on you, and now you are her flock. She flies to you for comfort safety food and love. I loved this upload, this is one of the sweetest most adorable things I have seen.
She was like, "no, I stay with you, your my family". Sparrows around here travel in packs. They are social and community oriented. I always see them in large groups. So it makes sense that she didn't want to be alone or try to find others. She sees them as her tribe 😉
He said "It's a constant feeling of responsibility, I'm guessing close to what parents feel towards their children". And she followed with "We became a family, that's for sure". I think this "family" is even more special, because of the uniqueness of the situation. THESE ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT SPECIES! Anyone with human children, and "pet" children, know how special the interspecies bond is, it's almost impossible to explain. Simply beautiful.
All my brothers and sisters were animals, dogs, donkey horses and cats. And when I meat a wild animal, I consider him/she like my cousin, the ones I love of course. But I have to admit I almost have the same feeling with some plants, to a certain degree, some trees in particular. I feel close to oaks :). But yes, as living "things" we are part of the same family "anyway". About the interspecies bound it's because it's almost deprived from human "biases" and "protocols", it's "pure". Whereas with humankind we tend to speculate too much on other persons will.
You do not realize capabilities until something different and tiny comes into your world. You find out that you are great parents. You find out your real love for wildlife. Good job fur parents.
Lol the whole time she just thought they were going on adventures, she had no idea she was supposed to go anywhere. They became her people, very sweet.
One of the sweetest stories I have ever heard. She probably looks at them as her parents and she can come and go as she pleases. They are a wonderful extraordinary family 😁
We named ours Rallo.. because he looked like an old man with fluffy hair. My son said kids had kick the nest out a low tree and he brought Rallo home. We had no idea what to do with him but we watched videos and kept him until he flew off the porch one day and never came back. I hope he remembers what I told him. "Ppl can be cruel but please remember me and don't poop on my car".
These people are special, they have a quality in their character that you do not see often, well done for the kindness and love they have in them, you are role models for all of us.
I saw the look on the mans face when they were talking about releasing her, you could see how sad he was at the thought of it he looked almost depressed. Such a lovely caring thing for a lovely couple!
That sparrow is living the best life ever. Full freedom to fly wherever she wants, all the food she could ever want, a loving family, and a warm comfortable place to sleep.
I was wondering about that very thing, and thought she might only live for 2 or 3 years. Instead, they might have her for many years to come, which would be good.
The Common Sparrow is a social bird and they live in extended family groups. A release was going to be almost impossible, the couple is it's extended family.
I found a baby bird after a storm in the middle of our backyard (we have a decently big backyard) and he wasn’t near a tree, I’ve been taking care of him ever since and it’s been two days, he was weak at first but now he’s grown stronger and VERY needy, but he’s so sweet and I only hope we have a bond like this when it’s time to release him!! ❤️

The bird probably cannot survive outdoors on its own; foraging skills are usually learned from bird parents. It's a good thing you are allowing the bird to "come home" at night. Wonderful video!
It's hard to say, as it sort of works differently between birds. Ironically, this is more true of more intelligent birds like crows. Since they rely less on instinct and more on intelligence and the ability to learn. So any habits they learned during childhood could work against them here. They're also very social, and would struggle to fit into a flock if not released early enough. Since they weren't socialized with other crows from a young age. But a lot of songbirds are rather simple, and much of their programming is mostly built into them. In this case you even see it recognizing that the nuts in that cookie are potentially edible and trying to grab them on its own.
I found a baby Sparrow that was thrown out of her nest. I raised him and he lived with me for 19 years. His name was Billy. Like your Sparrow, he would continue to fly back to me. So he lived a happy life for 19 years with me.
I was wondering about the lifespan of a sparrow. I never, never would have believed they could live so long as your bird has lived. Learn something new everyday.
Hi Stella, I'd be interested to know how you took care of Billy. What you fed him and what his living conditions were... 19 years sounds amazing, probably a combination of a genetic lottery and your loving care. Just awesome ❤

You guys are awesome! Imagine a world where we treated each other with the same compassion and concern as you did this tiny Sparrow! Bravo to you both!
I had several sparrows and each one was a bundle of joy. Never kept them against their will indoors, many were sickly (found as abandoned babies in the city on the footpath with no trees and shrubs around). They adapt so quickly, sparrows are no early birds, late up and late to "bed", love attention, games and most of all radio or music in general. They love to be in the centre of a household.
She's happy with you guys and wants to live with you forever because you "imprinted" her. Imprinting happens when something is so young that it hasn't developed an identity yet. What happens is: the animal identifies itself as whatever is taking care of it when it reaches the age of identity (I might do a vid on this).
@@FilmsIMet It has it's advantages and disadvantages. For survival purposes, it's great, nothing is better. For propagation purposes, it's the worst thing in the whole world that's ever existed because that animal sees others of its kind as something else rather than being the same.

@@horyzengaming3935 That is truly wonderful!
Hopefully.
I think stress is the key.
Wow!!! So cool, thx
This is the first time I saw a bird so attached to humans. To be able to come back even though being set free: the couple must be really great and sweet people.

Imprinting is so beautiful honestly, imprinting on an animal from birth forms a life time bond and one that the animal will never forget and that's what we should do, find a way to connect with the animals and help those who were abandoned to make them feel loved.
@Bluebirbas i see... i've always connected the word to like forever protecting i think i watched too much twilight 😅
i once rescued sparrow baby too. we pet her till it grew and then one day found more sparrows outside and flew away happily with them. we were happy that it found a family
I love animals so much.

there's alot i want say but i don't think you would be able to bear for now,.. although depending on what you know so far atleast you acknowledge the fact the jc name of the messiah is false for many believers have yet to the disturbing realization of that fact, for it's seems they have not yet pondered in mind that the scripture does not say in vain that no name given under heaven amongst men of which we must be saved and ofcourse not referring to the name they added in the bible i don't think can stress much in words how serious that is, as you appear to know that salvation is only in the true name of the messiah
im currently looking into the study of the language of the messiah that he spoke in very few passages like for instance when he says to a girl that was ill on the bed he said to her talitha cumi, we are talking about a language that is ancient but not lost, as the 12 tribes that spoke these languages and even the angels that spoke with them, and it is the languages that has it's roots in the many dialects of african languages like swahilli and that the true name appears to have been reealed in these languages and the name of the Most High
yes if you not known by now the messiah comes from a black tribal lineage speaking a language that is also a form of identity, a tribe identified by the language they spoke and the traditions they practiced like circumcision it appears that modern day hebrew is a made up dialect that has it's roots in what they call the bhatu languages of africa as there is a slight connection this was done by the fake jews that the Most High himself will expose at an appointed time as written in Revelation 2:9 and Revelation 3:9
im not an expert im a little new in all this and im still investigating i just thought i tell you what i know so far that should be note worthy and concerning to many believers

What a beautiful video. I could cry. This video brought me such great joy. What a beautiful little angel she is!

Never kept them against their will indoors, many were sickly (found as abandoned babies in the city on the footpath with no trees and shrubs around). She's happy with you guys and wants to live with you forever because you "imprinted" her. Imprinting happens when something is so young that it hasn't developed an identity yet.
