Finally got bastardized! I absolutely donated this bottle just for Rex to have fun with. Never tasted it, didn't research it, didn't care. I just saw it on the shelf and knew Rex had to have it.

FUK Japanese whisky is a three year-old whisky, distilled from barley, instead of rice; like most Japanese whiskies. The abbreviation FUK stands for Fukuoka International Airport. Located in Kureme city, Fukuoka prefecture, FUK whisky is a travels expression, thus it is named after the Fukuoka International Airport.
My good friend lived in Fukuoka for over a year after moving to Japan. He said it was one of the best times of his life. He met his current wife there

Mezcal has a massive flavor spectrum. Each agave has its own flavor profile. And there are dozens of agaves used in the production of mezcal. This doesn't even scratch the surface of ensembles and pechugas or agave being fermented in cowhide (delicious). I started my spirit journey with mezcals, but I have started into whiskeys now, thanks to watching so many reviews and the descriptions you provide of them. I would suggest whiskey and mezcal are on par with each other in regard to the diversity in flavors that can be found in each. And would suggest anyone serious about whiskey and its depth should also look into mezcal as well.
I just started getting into Mezcals last year... and damn it is a journey. It took a while to even appreciate what i was drinking at the start, but it has grown on me hand over hand. I think the thing that shocks me the most is that 100proof Mescals can have NO bite...

The Design of the bottle really slaps, having FUK in bold they know what they are doing an that "Lets Go" on the bottle is brilliant!
Fukuoka is one of my favourite Japanese cities. They have so many great whisky bars there and it's a pretty walkable city.
Nice video! Have you guys ever tasted Brazilian whisky? "Union Distillery" and "Lamas Destilaria" have some excelent bottles. Lamas speccialy have a lot of eccentric whiskies using Brazilian wood. I'd love to see your impressions.

😂 I was deployed when my brother graduated high school, so I mailed him a gift and it said to read the card first and I go on about how life on deployment blows, "so you're graduating, like I give a flying fuck... Okay, open the package" and it was a rc helicopter but the body was just a Styrofoam "FUCK" with rotors sticking out. Probably my greatest setup for a gift ever, I just wish I was there or had someone video tape it lol

(Edit: Whenever I've visited the liquor store in the Mitsuwa near me, I've noticed a great number of neutral grain spirits. (They even come in plastic bottles, lol.) Something like this could just be a niche product in Japan...)

I'm sorry that texas weather isn't a worldwide phenomenon...😁😁😁 What if it was a old barrel that has just been lightly toasted, OR it was a used saka barrel that was reworked and lightly toasted... Your saving grace is there are no Japanese distilleries watching your channel... 😋😋😋

I can't play the audio here in my doctor's office's waiting room, so maybe Daniel and Rex are pronouncing FUK correctly, but - at the risk of sounding judgemental - I doubt it. There is no real F in Japanese. Their F sounds like a cross between the sound of the word 'who' and a really soft 'f' as you might hear in the word 'philosophy'. The 'u' is always the 'u' in English words such as 'blue' and 'sue,' and never the 'u' sound found in words such as 'fun' or 'run'. So FUK won't sound like 'fuck' but rather like the English word 'duke' but with a 'who' sound at the start. Hope everyone is thoroughly confused now. You're welcome.

Vowels in Japanese are pronounced consistently - roughly speaking, A is 'ah', O is 'oh', U is 'oo', E is 'ey', I is 'ee'.

I mean they do use other languages to express certain words even using the "latin alphabet" and even sometimes just words phonetically similar but with the caracteristic japanese accent ... and yeah, FUCK is a word they use some even a lil more them others with the influence of social midia and music, with IRL streamers and YT channels i watch FUCK is kinda overused even, that info i took from English Teachers in Japan and Streamers going to more buzzling youth part of Japan.
