@@Crazyfayze well, i'm not trying to stop anyone from playing the game. It's just i have followed supmatto for a long time, even when none believes in his bl3 leak. My whole hype is thanks to him. Seeing him so devastated is kinda bitter.

Those are great new perk additions. Making the different manufacturers even more versatile and meaningful than before and letting the players figure out which guns fit them best without just looking at the level or stats. I love it!
Daaaaaamn, the weapons in this one are just awesome! I'm already thinking of new combinations.
They definetly expanded upon the personalities and Quirks of each manufacturer to the point of being completely different companies then what we saw in borderlands 1.

I love the sound they added to the Jakobs weapons but I miss my old western style.
Agreed, they totally looked better in 2. But i just hope they still have the 'fire as fast you can pull the trigger' thing, jakobs pistols were always the best for that reason

Whait are these perks in the first game? Juts stared playing, and I saw on the tips thing it said a certain gun type did something, an do tried looking it up to see if there was a difference in each in type but I only found this

@@angelicxen5058 Nothing he did was illegal, but what take two did to his channel is. 64 instances of copyright claims on his videos. All videos covered by fair use law. Take Two has broken the law, and now Sup Matto is gonna lose his channel in roughly 7 days.

Yeah if there was anything I didnt like about borderlands 2 it was the feel of the guns, it never felt right (Same with the movement). All that seems to be much improved in this game.
I found an Incindeary Jakob's Pistol last night, a beautiful little thing simply called "The Companion". It's *legendary loot* (orange) and will inflict burn 100% of the time but ONLY on Criticals (accompanied by a one-of-a-kind sound effect on its Burn-Crits for a bit of extra joy). The thing is fan-fired LIGHTNING FAST just the way I remember Jakobs from BL2 and it is the coziest, most overpowered and most SATISFYING TO USE thing I have thus far picked up.
Too bad it's only Level 12 loot though :')

you forgot cross promo guns. the duc (a jacobs with sticky bomb bullets) and the handsome jackhammer (hyperion smg that reloads like tediore)
Ok but can jakobs guns still fan the hammer? And do vladof fire rated still increase as long as you hold the trigger? It'd be a shame to lose them

My goodness, I am glad that Tediore and Maliwan are getting a bit of an upgrade! These two brands in, my opinion, seemed a bit pointless(especially Maliwan to me). But now with the ability to switch to different elementals and different explosive features, this adds more diversity to these brands. I am glad they changed! :D
PS: I also love the ricochet effect of Jakobs!

How about Company-made grenade mods? like in B2 where Maliwan has Vampire grenades and Hyperion has Blackhole one.

It's almost like they took what was cool about Mothergunship (weird and amazing gun combos) and added it into their game. Don't ask me why, but this is the FIRST video about BL3 that has gotten me legitimately excited.

The VIP program is actually awesome. Been using it for 4 months now and I have 14 thousand points. Points can go toward cosmetics for the characters in b3 and actual weapons in the previous borderlands games and I assume eventually B3 as well. Once you have collected 7 weapons you will get a special Maliwan gun for b3. I'm hoping it's a scalable weapon. You can redeem shift codes there as well.

What are the points for?
I played since bl1 and I love the way weapons evolved. It makes each gun more unique. Also having guns such as the handsome jackhammer which is essentially a hybrid between Hyperion and tedior which is freaking amazing. Jakobs Always fell off somewhat due to the lack of elements. But now it doesn't matter since you don't need slag. You can cover more elements with less guns and Jakobs offer better bonis
Was hoping S&S was making a comeback, but the guns look amazing. So excited for this game

I have a fondness for the Maliwan Proton Rifles. They are snipers with a splash damage to each shot in the element you are firing in and the longer you charge the shot the faster the shot travels. Some Jakobs weapons do have elemental damage just they are rare and often legendary quality weapons. Some Hyperion weapons the shield can give you ammo when struck or reflect the bullet back at the attacker. I bet when Rhys was pitching the smart bullet thing he probably was like Zorg from The Fifth Element when pitching his weapons to the Mangalores.
Will it be possible to play a demo?
I think Jakob’s & Children of the Vault will be two of my favorite gun companies! I’m so hype!

I just want the Pearl Huntsman shotgun and Pearl Masher revolver I had in game one. Those keywords weren't even IN Borderlands 2.

Sorry to break it, but end-game, you need to get real: it only come downs to the very few gun's unique ability (text in red), not the manufacturer.
