Who else sounded like this guy? Nobody. Great solo voice, great guitar, drums. 70-80’s rock at its best.
Um...Robert Plant? Ooooooooof. 🤦
No one... Billy and his band were special so tight...
Billy sounded like Robert Plant.
@@mattarnold8490 ummmmm, no he didn't
I don't care who you are this will rock a house party in Hardin Montana
This manly man and band back in the 80's was a rock-n-roll food group, consumed daily and without complaint. Thanks for making the teenage years sexy rockin, BS!
Start a petition I'll be the first one to sign. I challenge anyone in the music industry to submit Billy Squiers name . I listen to him everyday and have for many years . He's more then multi talented. Music industry needs to right a wrong they've committed. Get it right. Billy Squier has more then earned the rock -n-roll hall of fame
Induct this very talented man into the rock & roll hall of fame already!!
Yes!!
Indeed , he should be in the R&R hall of fame
@@mydoglemmy4689 Hell, yea!!!
@Dzz Zz lots of videos back then were shit.Drop it already! Jeesh.
I agree how talented my buddy told me he saw him in early 80’s in San Diego just killed it
I'm so glad I was 20 years old in 81,I wouldn't trade being 61 for 20 in this day and time,I wouldn't have lived in America.
Still holds up 40 years later. Great song from a great album!
This man is a huge talent that has frequently been overlooked. It's time he gets his due credit.
I was 23 in 81, now I’m 63 and still Rocking!
I was 24 when I went to this concert. I loved Billy Squier then and now I am 63 and still love him and I am still rocking also. 🥰🥰🥰
Dolores Cook we’re the same age, lol 😆
I'm 67, and I'll be a rocker till I die
I was 19, what a time to be young!

Happy Birthday, Billy
Genius and a gentleman. I used to live next door to Billy in NYC. Passed him every night.. IN THE DARK!!!! Hello, how are you???? Always said GOOD. Nice, handsome, respectful and DOWN TO EARTH. Love you Billy. You knew if we weren't in the DARK then, we are now.
Such an underrated rocker.
In The Dark. To this day still a bad ass song!!!!
THE CIVIC WAS THE BEST PLACE TO ROCK OUT IN THE 80S I SEEN THE PRETENDERS THEIR CHRISSY ROCKED
Aug. 6/ 81 I was turning 12 and MTV was just starting. I friggin loved music but MTV brought it to another lever. I remember Squier was amazing
Never realized how great the 80’s were until it was gone
AMEN
Doulbel Amen!!! Would return in a second! Anyone have a hot tub time machine??
I wish i was born in this era. I have much respect for it
Go on Tour, we miss YOU!!!!
My neighbors are enjoying this song right now.
One of a kind talent his music was different....like the sound in the 80's... listen to it loud....😎😎😎😎
Forgotten great guitarist. Forgotten great singer. Forgotten great performer. I saw him live in 1983 at the Long Beach Arena, CA and that was still one of the single greatest performances I’ve ever been to. And I’ve seen hundreds. Just a perfect night of songs, presence and musicianship ever. Why has he been forgotten? Just a master of the stage.
Google Billy Squier/MTV video..... MTV ruined his career with a bad video
search YT for this "80s Icon Had 3 STRAIGHT Platinum Records-1 BAD Music Video RUINED Him OVERNIGHT!"
Billy Owned 81-84 Some Of Rock's Best Yet Sometimes Forgotten Rock Gem's/Classic's.
By far the best song he ever did.
God Bless this early soundtrack of MTV of my life, Rip, Bobby Chouinard and Jeff Golub, Respectively!!!
Still sounds great in '23 !!
To me, this is the 80"s with still a little 70"s mixed in. Iconic for it's age.
Well it was only 1981😂
Better than the dreck put out today ,
Well said.

Holy Shit! I'd forgotten how much I love this song! These guys ruled, live!
It pops into my head a lot...It rocks like a bitch
Billy is a mix of everything that was great about 70s-80s rock and roll, all in one package.
His best song hands down
It was a good lyric song...but ...Enough is Enough has his best guitar work on it... In my opinion..lol...but you know what they say about opinions.. ")
Agree. Also my kinda lover....
Totally cool!!! Love being a teen in the 80s!!!
Too many "best" songs to count.
Hands down, my favorite song then and today!
Was way ahead of his time in the early 80’s. So great sounding even today when watching it. Truly an amazing guitarist/vocalist
His songs never get old! He is the very best!
Absolutely gorgeous and sexy track all across the board 🛹🛹🛹🛹!!!!!
No one has ever sounded like him. Great supporting cast as well. They always nailed it live.
Always liked the nonchalant way he marches it out to kick ass...
Oh yeah this lineup was sick. Everyone of them super-talented.
I’ve always said he sounds like Robert Plant and plays like Jimmy Page.
And I’m a Led Head, so that’s music to my ears. Love his stuff!
The previous album "Tale of the tape" has at least one song that sounds like Led Zeppelin.
I cannot remember the name but I did buy the album because that song got airplay as a single.
Another band that had a Zeppelin like some a few years later was Zebra with Who's Behind the Door.
(I did not buy their album).
His iconic song ....
Hurricane Sally brought me here been without power so I'm still in the dark! ✌
I just commented on the other video but I remember my Momma singing this song to me as far back as I can remember. Ah memories!
Seen you Billy open up for the Who 1982 Cotton Bowl Dallas Texas loved the Cheerleaders you had dancing 🤘
My favorite, wish I could have seen him in the 80s. Or now but he doesn’t tour. So badass!
Seriously, how many times can i like this?!?!
I was like 11 or 12 when Squire hit it big. I friggin loved these songs. Still do obviously
I can't get enough of Billy Squier! A rock and roll legend!!!
Criminally underated. Great rock band. Billy always delivered.
Billy is the real deal.. He is underated by many except his legions of knowledgable and loyal fans like me .
His BEST song......great songwriting, great lyrics, melodic, rocking and heavy. MONEY.....
Rip lead guitar player. He was pretty damn good also. Rip Jeff good drummer. Loved watching you twirl those sticks
Every note on key
Damn that's what Rock use to sound like 😍
What a great voice and overall sound !
Saw him opening up for Foreigner in 1982. In the dark tour, simply amazing.
Great, tight band.....
Whos still listening to this in 2021!? A great time to be ALIVE!
Mr. Squire. Take your top 10 biggest hits.. listen to them and write 10 more hits in that same style, sound n feel... PLEASE.. a lot of musicians say I dont want to write the same stuff over n over.. well us fans want that, that style n sound got you where u r today. Besides you'd make a killing again n us real fans would b pleased once again, its a win win. We get what we loved about yr music n u'd get paid again. Or if nothing else, do it for us, the ones that actually buy the music n pay to see u live, n do it for the love of MUSIC! Thanks.
This group of musicians on this tour with Billy were superb!
Yes Yes and hell yes

I was sincerely sad when this line-up went away, RIP Bobby Chouinard and Jeff Golub, respectfully 🤘 !
One of my favorites, I was 23, lol 😆♥️♥️♥️♥️🎶🎼🎵
Billy and Bob Seger both have a powerful and unmistakeable voice that sets them both apart from any others.
All the singers and bands had unmistakable voices from this era.
Handsome singer and the guitarist, wow.
Emotions In Motion A Classic !!!
Billy squire night ranger and y&t what a show that would be.. a show of the 3 most underrated bands in history
So charismatic. And quite the hunk!!!

Saw him headline with Def Leppard opening. Later saw him opening for Queen. Billy always consistently brought his A-game no matter the setting or the lineup. Seriously underrated!!!

Imagine Elvis and Billy doing a duet. Would have been beautiful.

Total control as a frontman, one of the best !!
When I was a teen back in the 80's I had a Craig stereo and a equalizer ( I don't remember the name) hooked up to 2, 200 watt Jenson speakers. This radio back then had tape deck. I would blast the song everytime I heard it. I had a '77 Olds Cutlass. I wanna go back to the 80's where life was easier, you busted your ass at work to make a car payment, car insurance and still had to go out on friday and saturday nights. I wish I could go back. I wouldn't change anything if I did.
Remember radio shack, Ihad a pair of Realistic 2 ways. They were box type that sat on top of the back window ledge of my 1976 Impala, aw memories
LOL, I remember the Realistics! I rocked a Concord AM/FM tape deck running through a pair of Pioneer TS-X9s mounted on the back window ledge of my '77 Monte Carlo, and thought that that was a killer setup in high school
Cowboys from hell
How 'bout a 75 Nova with an analogue tuning Alpine deck and pyramid EQ with Jensen 6x9's in the rear ?
:)
Yeah man life was good back then
Billy is one of Boston's best. A comeback tour, Billy? C'mon!
Best 👍 song ever 💕 bye Billy. I saw him live 8 time's. The best things done are in the Dark...!!!! He needs to be in the hall of fame of rock and roll 🥐 already man!!!!❤️❤️❤️👑👑👑👑👑👍👍👍😎😎😎😎

Another great 1 you dont forget the great music of singing along cause you know the lyrics of all your favorites
This was a really good band and Billy Squire has a great voice.
33 seconds into this and I already have to go put on my neck brace before I end up with a rock-n-roll neck injury. No one hurts my neck like Billy Squier! Love him😎
I love your comment. Hilarious but true.
Wow what an incredible voice.
I loved guys' hair back then, long, curly, wild...
So hot
Love you Billy!!!!
Highly underrated guitar player!
Simply Billy "Robert Plant" Squier 💪🎵🎼🎶🎤🎸😎👊
Love this guy!
