Please know that I am a fan of your channel and from Philly. So you definitely have more than one fan here.

Love you guys so much for trying The Dandelion. It is on my bucket list. Joel: "Are you in England?" LOL. Will we EVER get scones right over here? lol. I was supposed to go for my birthday (7th of March), but it didn't work out. Now, when I go, I will have to ask for the Joel & Lia table !! What a great way to end the Philly trip. Wow this is crazy, I've been to two different locations in South Florida and they were nowhere near as big as this one. So it's crazy to know that the UK has bigger ones with more assortment for men and home!
Oh my gosh I got so excited watching the scene about the scones; I suspected they were far different here than they are across the pond but I really wanted to see your reaction to the lemon curd. I love it-it tastes so good but wanted to see your reaction. I’m almost at the end of the video and I’ll see if you guys talk about it outside the restaurant. Love you guys! Oh and thank you for the video on the Liberty Bell-I’ve always wanted to see this but of course travel right now is a challenge.
I live in Philly and love clotted cream. It’s not common here in the US. I grew up eating it since my Mum is English and my Dad Irish. I’m first generation American and have been to England twice the last time I lived there for a year. It always felt like my second home because of my Mum. Miss sausage rolls, pasties, pork pies and a full English breakfast and proper fish and chips we used to get at the barbican in Plymouth that was wrapped in newspaper. Which I think they stopped using.
Since you are familiar with both Philadelphia cream cheese and clotted cream, are they very similar? How is clotted cream different? From the look of it on British shows, I've assumed they were different names (🇺🇸/🇬🇧) for the same thing.
LeBron James switched jersey numbers from 23 to 6 this season for a bunch of reasons that don't make sense to me. It's sort of interesting that there's so much Lakers and LeBron James merchandise in a Philadelphia store. I know James is a superstar, but I'd expect to see 76ers merch. James Harden is currently the biggest star on the 76ers, so why not feature his jerseys? Someone needs to send Joel and Lia some jelly so they can see what it is.

Joel and Lia, in answer to your question, jelly is made with strained fruit juice. There are no pieces of fruit in jelly. Jam is made with mashed fruit. Preserves have whole fruit or large pieces of fruit. Fourth and final is marmalade, which is chopped, pureed or sliced citrus cooked with sugar.
I have had the triangular scones in England when I first moved over in 1993. Marks and Spencer’s sold them in their food section. It came as a large circle, but pre cut into triangles. Spent a good bit of my time in Philadelphia, as that’s where my ex husband was from. Got many a cheesesteak subs and hoagies. Tried to find a place that made cheese steak subs in England, but don’t have them. I know Subway sell them, but they are NOT traditional cheesesteak subs. Thank you for sharing your holiday in Philadelphia!
I've been to the Primark at Westfield in West London. I think that's where I was. I was in line forever to buy a few things to bring back to my work team. Busy, busy. We still don't have it in Los Angeles.
How funny that you would eat at a UK restaurant while in America. If I was in UK I'm sure I would be looking for Mcdonalds...lol Love you 2..Your so funny.

Good to see that the restaurant has real American cheese from Vermont on the menu instead of that oily orange stuff they try to pass off as "American cheese" in many places these days
So the picture on the menu at the restaurant reminded me of a children's book (also called Dandelion By Don Freeman). Looked it up to make sure and it's super similar to the cover of the book. Wonder if there's a connection. Maybe the founders favorite childhood book? Anyone know?
I was a little surprised that the Philly Primark didn't feature 76er's gear, but maybe it's because the L.A. Laker's and LeBron have fans everywhere. I am noticing that it hurts my brain a little to think about travelling to one place and buying a souvenir from somewhere else while I am there. I tend to seek out something that reminds me of or has a connection to where I am (where else will you have that chance?) Maybe they will always associate the Laker's with Philadelphia since that's where they saw them play. Of course, the items are for locals too. I've seen miniature Eiffel Towers for sale lots of places (you can't get them full size anywhere.)

I thought Mall of America was the biggest, unless you are combining the court with the other mall adjacent. In the 80s there was a Bambergers in one, Macy's in the other, eventually Macy's took over Bambergers. I used to have two separate Macy's card accounts, one NY, the other NJ.
@Spring Is Coming 🇺🇸 man, it was a walk to cover both buildings in the early 80's. One was known as the court, I think the other was the plaza. Did they connect the two?
@@Stache987 The Mall of America was or still is overall the largest in the nation, but not in square footage of retail space. KOP, which is one mall now and has been for a while....has more square footage of retail space than the Mall of America. The only other bigger mall was and may still be the Del Amo Fashion Complex in Torrance CA. I grew up in KOP and a guy I know who also grew up in KOP now lives in Torrance....so, kinda funny.
@Eric Sierra-Franco's heck, in the early 80s, it was a trek to get back to your car. I suppose its worse now. I was active duty military then. It was the first shopping area I found in the area, later to find Granite Run, Deptford and a mall in Cinnaminson by a traffic circle. I found a few other malls, I was out of the area from about 1985 to 1988. Moved to Allentown, saw many a mall even then, just turn into non-existent businesses
Primark is currently east coast only, but I've been to a small one in Massachusetts. The guy's section is really small as it's only 1 floor. Your U.K Primark seems more like an IKEA experience. IKEA? It's not similar in the way of products sold since IKEA is a home/furniture store; however it seems like U.K Primark sells an experience just like IKEA sells an experience. Even though you may not buy furniture, you may go there just to have lunch at the cafeteria buying a cake and sweedish meatballs or go to quick service counter for a hot dog. And the way IKEA exhibits its products through similar to that of a museum or convention exhibition is what separates the fine line between selling an experience as opposed to just being The Home Depot or Lowe's. When you said U.K Primark has its own Harry Potter section and collabs with vloggers, that's what made me think U.K Primark sells an experience rather than just being a department store like Macy's whose main goal is to sell product as opposed to selling an experience. I'm sorry to bother you with my explanation of an experience using IKEA as way to explain how PRIMARK could be selling an experience. You're saying "why is this guy mentioning IKEA when thus video is about Primark?" Well, now you know and can start to observe other places that sell an experience as opposed to just products. This is an insightful comment snd sometimes it takes an analogy of something else to help illustrate how the analogy applies to the main subject at hand. Another more familiar term that you nay have come across is "themed entertainment." However, I believe the purpose of themed entertainment is to sell an experience However, if I were to mention themed entertainment, Disneyland probably would ld be the first thing that pops in your mind. Yes, theme parks are definitely a huge chunk of themed entertainment, BUT themed entertainment doesn't consist of theme parks. It can consists of restaurants, malls even, or something else. However, the problem with calling IKEA or U.K Primark part of themed entertainment, not everyone woukd agree furniture and clothes stores are entertaining. Yes, people love to shop. However, even if we love to shop, we generally don't classify shopping as entertainment. When we think of entertainment, we think of movie theaters, comedy clubs, improv, sporting events, conventions like PAX or E3, or live theater plays or musicals like Phantom of The Opera or Cats. But shopping? That's why I like to call IKEA of The Rainforest Cafe places that sell an experience rather than calling it themed entertainment. It's sm experience. And it's the stellar experience that brings people in. Now, you may think Chuck E Cheese as a place driven by nightmare fuel and 5 nights at Freddy's. But if you have a kid (I don't), they love the experience. The pizza maybe poop 💩 but they go tgere to have fun and turn their tickets in for prices. The rainforest Cafe is another experience your kid may or may not like. It's based on nature and the rainforest, but the food is just OK. Sorry, no games at this place. But it's just a place for the whole family. But what about Olive Garden? Don't they sell an experience. Why iys definitely an experience since anything you do is an experience, there is no theme. It doesn't go above and beyond from simply being s restaurant. Casa - Bonita in Denver, however, is an experience. It's based in Dever Colorado. IF YOU EVER VISIT DENVER JOEL AND LIA, YOU MUST GO TO CASA BONITA. Casa Bonita is not simply a Mexican restaurant. It is an experience. Even the cartoon South Park referenced Casa Bonita. It has cliff divers, a magic show, gift shop, and you can be seated in a variety of settings. It's so big that you may nit see tge magic show dance it's in a different section of the restaurant. It's looks like a hole in the wall restaurant that's in a strip mall. However, as you open tge restaurant doors, you Dysart yo descend DOWNWARDS. You don't see the hostesses/host and waitstaff until you go downstairs. If you read this whole post, you must be a legend.
Hope this helps: Is LeBron number 6 or 23? He wore the number for his first seven years in the NBA, and after a few seasons in No. 6 with the Heat, James returned to 23 and has worn it ever since. That will change this year, as LeBron has decided to switch back to No. 6 for his 19th season in the league.Oct 3, 2021
What the hell is a Primark? Well... I suppose I'm getting an idea. It's a store that contains things. Things one wears and potentially at reasonable prices.
Its only in the northeast so far, but their coming to Miami and Chicago soon. Its the size of a department store with the prices of cheaper stores like Marshall's.

You Two are Most Definitely my Favourite 🤩 UA-camR’s now guy’s and believe you me I have a Lot of UA-camrs that always get back to me and I’m actually thinking of creating an account on here by the end of the year Xx
I was so excited when I saw the title... I love a Primark! But unfortunately the men’s section in US is very small. I’m very disappointed LOL.
u guys would have loved the King of Prussia mall. largest mall in america by retail space
That status keeps fluctuating and changing. It is number 3 now I believe in retail space. Still is the biggest I believe on the East Coast.

The Mall of America was or still is overall the largest in the nation, but not in square footage of retail space.
In case your were not aware, Primark is an Irish shop.
Another more familiar term that you nay have come across is "themed entertainment." However, I believe the purpose of themed entertainment is to sell an experience
However, if I were to mention themed entertainment, Disneyland probably would ld be the first thing that pops in your mind.
Hope this helps:
Is LeBron number 6 or 23?
