Don’t change a thing. You are so much fun to watch! As an old married guy with no time to do really, anything, I have my fun by watching you two do things. Best example, I hate shopping, but for some reason I enjoy watching the two of you shop away. Keep being you! Glad you liked my hometown of Philadelphia. Wonderful city. Come back in better weather!
I love watching them shop too! I get a kick out of Joel and Lia pretending to not understand what things are, or how the sales tax works in different states, because I picture the viewers who don’t get the sarcasm and will (sometimes) angrily and condescendingly explain it in the comments. 😂

So… I’m from Minnesota and think you would enjoy many aspects of the state. Maybe not so much in winter, but summer and early autumn would be a fantastic time to visit. Idk what was wrong with the person who said not welcome, but they don’t know what they’re talking about. Your US travel videos are always super fun.

I agree... I think it would be fun to have you visit rural MN!! There's not tons to do and they do roll up the sidewalks waaaay too early ( I think coffee shops should be open until at least 10 pm!!), but come visit the lakes and kick your feet up to relax!

I'm a 62-year-old American secondary English teacher who has been watching and loving you guys for years. I even played one of your videos in a tenth grade (ages 15 - 16) class one year. The kids enjoyed your content and you, as well. I don't know if this is true globally now, but, in the US, I've noticed people becoming increasingly more critical and mean-spirited in the past 10 - 12 years. People just need to mind their own business. You be you!

I actually look forward to your videos, and Joel I wasn't sure you were not straight until you revealed it yourself on one of the videos from a while ago. So, for me to be honest, had you been more out there or flamboyant, I probably would have lost interest in the channel. So, I like your positive demeanor and the way you present yourself--just keep being a kind, thoughtful, young man who makes his mom proud. I think you two have great chemistry together as friends and are fun to be around, so that's why this format works for you. So, keep moving forward, and for things you want to understand better in US culture, just do a bit of research beforehand. It's a great compliment to the native home landers when visitors take time to do that.

I enjoy your light banter. I just discovered your site 11/23, so I'm bingeing on your old posts. My view on Popeyes is overcooked meat and dry flavorless sides. I think government health department regulations are to blame to prevent the possibility of food borne illness. When serving at a NATO headquarters in Turkey in the 1970s, I enjoyed the company of an older British couple who lived around the corner from me. You two spark fond memories of that encounter with them. You explaining the idiosyncrasies of the British psyche helps me more understand my own familial habits: my maternal great great grandma died enroute to America aboard ship. My last name according to geneographers is a variant spelling of Sheffield(via the Anglo-Saxons). Keep up your entertaining conversations!

I have an idea for a video, if someone thinks that Joel is there to paint your nails and do your hair then you definitely should do this, do each others hair and nails on a video, make it a special feature like an anniversary or special make-up day or something. Been watching your videos for years now - this is definitely one of the best, so funny. As a Brit who is now a US citizen, I still don't get the "British food is horrible" thing. Loads of my friends watch things like the Great British Baking Show (as it is called here) and love the "British" food I cook for them. Keep up the good work guys!

I watched that video when they were in Texas and rode the Greyhound Bus from Austin to San Antonio. It was hilarious!!! The whole time I was yelling at the screen, "Get a rental, get a rental!!! Please don't take the nasty bus!!" Heck! I would have driven from northeast of Houston [where I live] to Austin and drove them to San Antonio myself!!! 😂🤣
