Great challenge and fantastic video! I'm glad you mentioned Olek; he's incredibly active in the pumpfoiling scene in Poland. Regarding the challenge, I believe the thickness of the mast plays a significant role in the overall speed of a setup. I used to have the Nolimitz V2, and while it's one of the stiffest masts I've ever had, its 15.5 mm thickness really slowed down the entire setup. For the past few months, I've been using the F-One 14 mm mast, which has noticeably unlocked more speed. Even my old Takoon set gained some extra speed with the 13.5 mm HM mast.
Good rules. If you really wanted to equalize the foils for your fatigue, you could test all 4 foils, 4 days in a row. Keep the same order, but rotate which foil you start with.
If be sold with this activity IF, they could incorporate the lateral motion in terms of aquiring propelltion. Have they tried a restricted hinged flap along the rutter?
Merci pour ce comparatif! question: in english in case others are interested, do you place all foils at the same position on your board, does this position help with speed? is it in the middle or more or less on the front/rear? Many thanks!
I would love this test done on families of foils. For example what Lift foils would you compare and predict their performance. The same for many other manufacturers.
Great test. Have not seen a review of Sabfoil 1260 Leviathan Pro from you. I would like to learn Dockstarting. How would you classify the 1260 for someone like me on a very good level of Wingfoiling, including pumping through the lulls (100 meter or so pure Wingfoil pumping). AND would you recommend the 1260 for prone foiling, too?
The 1260 is advanced level for dockstart so maybe not ideal for learning. For prone, it has a really big wing span, so not ideal for turning. 1260 is to me more of an advanced flat water pump foil and light wind wing foil
It is interesting, the speed is increasing with the 4th root of the area quite linear, from theory in "stationary flight" it should be the 2nd root. Would be interesting what result you achieve when riding the four foils with the same wing in good conditions ...
The 800 Pure can still perform better on really big days, but yes the 750 Ultra will most likely take the place of the 800 Pure in my quiver for the most part
You say you tried to put Wyatt about of effort then you go into how much more effort the smaller foil required. I wonder if you had to work as hard to get the smaller foil up to glide speed into a large foil just how fast you go! The smaller foils don't have more drag! They have less surface area which is required for lift or flight!

Great point, the mast plays an important role for sure! Thanks for sharing 🙏🙌
Wow! What a beautiful landscape 🏞️😍 Great video and cool sprint challenge! 👌
Excellent vid. Very well thought out and executed.
That's exactly what I was looking for, thank you for this video !
Excellent video!
Great video!
Thanks for the vid Gwen, I'd love to see a video of the opposite, how slow can you pump each foil without stalling!
That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
And then also compare the glide.

Love the videos ❤

mast position on the board has no impact on speed, it only has an effect on your feet position on the board

Good idea Ishtar! We just don’t have all the foils 😆💰

How faster they are compared to the Dakine Charger 1950 that you dock started 2 years ago? Awesome video!
I imagine 'night and day' faster lol
Heart rate wouls have beeen interesting to know the powwer required.
At those speeds air resistance become to be a factor.

what is your reason you use the 325 stab on the sabfoil instread of the 370?
325 is a lot faster than 370
interesting comparison
Do you still use/need the Pure800 besides the newer Ultra750?

That dock start looks sketch 😂
Gotta dodge the sail boat 😆
you should take part in a race..!
(Where did you shoot this video?)
Oh Wow i would have thought that the 750cm foil would be the fastest and do the 1min in like 50sec... They are like all the same speed or what ?!?!?
Bonjour de France.
Salut 🇫🇷
