A lot of the game I played had great soundtracks. FlatOut 2, Midnight Club 3, MX vs ATV: Untamed
I don't care what other people say, this game has THE best Sound Track in any WWE game!
This for me had the best rock songs and 06 had the best rap songs, if we had all of the rap songs from both soundtracks and had songs like the symphony of destruction remix, start a war, bullet with a name, I ain't ur saviour and the enemy it could be near perfect ngl

I have to disagree. I hate Three Days Grace and Rise Against. That Lonely Train song or whatever is lame too. Including Godsmack was pretty sick though.
SVR 2005, 2006, & 2007 had the best soundtracks hands down

At 4:03, that statement there sure did sound like it was foreshadowing what Chris Benoit was gonna end up doing to his family.
Also during that storyline Theodore Long texts you that "No one had seen Benoit in days" and he had "No idea what was going on through Benoit's head"

One thing that always bothered me about this game is that despite Paul London and Brian Kendrick being the Wwe Tag team champions during this time, they didn't make the game. Yet MNM were the base champions despite the fact that they broke-up months before & Johnny Nitro was even on Raw as the I.C champion no less.
thats all to do with them writing stuff into the game much earlier than the release so stuff changes in "the real world" (lol) and the game tries to update everything but misses stuff.
One thing that bothered me about SVR 06 is despite MNM and Road Warrior Animal showing up in the Smackdown intro, they are nowhere to be found in the game

@@gator9339 another inconsistency that bothered me was that months before this game came out Booker had transformed into King Booker but in the game he has his "Can you dig it sucka" that & entrance despite the the fact that he's King Booker in the Smackdown intro and he even has the King Booker Titantron with his entrance in the game.
Superstars and titles being on other wrestlers always happens, or superstars having old gimmicks since the game is released around October but it in development from like the start of the year up to June. It kinda sucks that they barely update the games nowadays too

I adored this game. Spent absolutely ages making superman in create a character 😂😂 that chest logo was a labour of love.
In my opinion, the final awesome WWE game before things got stale and dull

Smackdown vs Raw 2007 on PS3 would've been life changing
The bios were also in 2008 as they were loading screen times this time, it also had the European and hardcore championships listed but for some reason not everyone had a bio such as Marcus Cor Von and Kenny Dykstra.
Probably because they were the least popular or the ones that fans wouldn't play as and they were both gone from WWE by the time the game came out

You know it's not predicting if the company approves it right? It's called foreshadowing.
Wwe planned what happened in games so it would look realistic.
The Hell in the Cell mode of SVR 2011 was pretty much perfect. They should make it just like that in the 2k games. Their was a variety of cell wall grapples accompanied by cinematic camera cuts that zoomed in on them.
A pro wrestling video game cannot predict a pro wrestler's crime.

Cancelling the PS3 version was a bad move.
It was also a bad idea to cancel WWE 2k18-2K20 for the PS3/XBOX 360. If you ask my opinion, making the new games for both the previous gen as well as the current & future gen consoles would rake in a shitload of cash for 2K.
Fr they should have made it for the ps3 like damn and also they didn’t even make 2k18-2k20 for the ps3 and Xbox 360 which was so fucking stupid like damn
This was the first wrestling game I ever played in my life.
I'll never forget that night my brother brought the CD home and quietly inserted into the ps2. I was 7years old at the time, and despite me hating the controls now, this game will always have a soft spot in my heart.

This game probably had the best set of soundtrack of all WWE games. It introduce me to many awesome bands. Three days grace, Rise against, Black Stone Cherry. I never knew them before play this game

*In all in my years of playing here comes the pain, the first smackdown vs raw & 2006, last week, I JUST brought & played 2007 for the first time last week & honestly, I should have started playing it sooner. I see why this game ranks so high in people's G.O.A.T. list*
HCTP had a great fun factor and great matches because of the control scheme, but SvR 07 is likely going ro be ranked the Best of all amongst most lists of best wrestling games ever

The first svr game I ever played was svr 2008. I was 8 years old. That's my favourite one ever. I then played svr 2007 on PS2 and I loved it so much. I am now trying it out on Xbox 360 and graphics are better. R.I.P. Chris Benoit. The Undertaker thing in the game was illuminati predictions.

2006 and 2007 were the best and I was happy with just 2006. Now between mechanics, rosters, etc. I have to play three different games to get my fix.
I would like a remastered version. Just replace any story with Chris Beniot with RVD or something
Agree we need this remastered for the Xbox one and ps4 ad ps5 and they need to remastered this because they need to add in guys who was cut like Jericho and Christian and London and Kendrick and Victoria
Until today I feel the graphics from svr 07 on the 360 are as good as today's games, it was incredible

The best thing to come out of SvR07 for me was discovering the band Versus the World. Great game overall but that's why it holds a special place in my heart

This was actually one of the two WWE video games I grew up with (the other was SVR 2006). Ironically, this is where my WWE fandom actually began. I did not start watching WWE until 2012, but I grew up playing those two games back in my day.
Also the Chris Benoit coincidence, why does that sound familiar? Oh wait, Eddie Guerrero in SVR 2006. BTW, if Chris Benoit did not do what he did that caused his demise, I could have seen him in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.

I think this game had the best version of GM Mode ever in the three years the mode was around
Except that there was a glitch where if you played as both RAW, and Smackdown, you had to use seperate memory cards, as it didn't save 2 player GM Modes, from what I remember.
I overcame this by using a red memory card for RAW, and a blue memory card for SD.
About damn time you get to SVR 07
Do a video on WWF Warzone.. Although the roster was outdated at the time of release its still legendary for raising the bar in gameplay and graphics with wrestling games especially create a wrestler mode and other features. It sold very well cause it released in the wake of the Attitude era and is the first game with Stone Cold Steve Austin putting him right on the cover in his prime
You can fight in the crowd in Smackdown: Just bring it. You just jump over the barrier and the crowd moves and makes space for you.
You mentioned that this was the first game to let you fight in the crowd which is wrong as Just Bring It was the first to allow this

This is my most favorite game of all time. Mainly cos of the buried alive match and season mode etc.
My favourites were HCTP, S v R 2006 and WWE2K14.
This is in the next group of great games though, IMO, along with '08 and SYM.
It just shows how consistently good THQ WWE games were, and how 2K can't consistently make good games.
I got all the SvR games on the PSP. It seems they cut out alot of features! There wasn't commentary on the PSP versions and also no sweat. It was a condensed version.

I really loved this game, it’s one of my favorites.. but it was very disappointing to not include Ashley and Victoria in the game, they were supposed to be there honestly. Also, I wondered why we were unable to play 6 person matches with Divas.. 🤷🏻 I still don’t understand why they did that!

Might've forgot a thing similar to the Jerry Lawler 4th wall... Is in WWE '12, while Michael Cole is on commentary and he's in a match, he would also break the 4th wall.
Same thing happens in Smackdown vs Raw 2008 when JBL is in a match while on commentary

Depending on the game the graphics of a Switch and Xbox One game would be pretty similar.
I’ve never run into the stone cold stunner line when using a chair in all my years of playing

i think commentary from tazz and king when discussing beniot was creepier. they goes on to say how benoit was very out of control and unstable as well as dialouge that kind of foresees his events
