I always thought the spinner belt looked horrendous and I still do to this day. It is a fair comparison to have John Cena’s belt be in the same comparison to Stone Cold Steve Austin’s belt, however I thought Austin’s belt looked way cooler. Finally I would’ve been cool with it if Cena held the spinner belt and say Randy Orton beat him they would transition back to the undisputed design, if Cena won the belt he would go back to the spinner belt, vice versa however WWE decide the spinner belt would be the default design which I hated.
At least after Cena's injury in the Fall of '07 the belt was "fixed" so it wouldn't spin anymore. I did like how it looked with Jeff Hardy and CM Punk.
Matt B but didn’t you think it looked weird to see Randy Orton, CM punk, or even Jeff Hardy holding that belt when in my mind it should’ve transition back to Undisputed design? I'm not sure if it's a secret but some of the counters in the game that aren't meant to be countered... well... can be countered. I used to know a few of them, but the only one that comes to mind is when someone counters your back grapple and slips under you, putting you in a hammerlock, you can counter that. Usually they jerk up on your arm in the hammerlock and push you away. However, press R2 (If I'm not mistaken, it may be L2... it's been a long time lol) right before they jerk up your arm and the game will glitch up and you'll be in their waistlock and you elbow out of it to escape. I'm not sure if it's common knowledge or not but with counter help turned on, it doesn't tell you that it's a counter. Plus it looks glitchy. If I can remember anymore I'll jump back in the comments. I'm pretty sure I found 4 or so playing this game so much.
The “you suck” chants were in 1 of the 2 versions of Angle’s music in SYM, if I remember right? You had to select the that version to hear it, I think.

Plus, in the actual storyline “The Undertaker’s Urn,” once you defeat Taker in a Buried Alive match, he chokeslams Eddie into the casket and Eddie is buried.
5:06 I first seen this in 07 never noticed it was in 06 too. Also I always thought it was Michael Cole singing it😂😂
5:06 for Tazz’s singing.
The “you suck” chants were in 1 of the 2 versions of Angle’s music in SYM, if I remember right? You had to select the that version to hear it, I think.
The soundtrack of this game is underrated. For me, it’s one of the best ever produced in a video game, especially if you like hip-hop.
Trish and Eugene had voice overs in the game for the season mode. Same with Torrie Wilson. Some like 2% of the divas had voice overs and the "you suck" chants started in Shut your mouth.
Do Smackdown vs Raw 2007 next!!!
He does it in order
I thought I'd never see Undertaker hitting JBL with a Kawada Driver through a car windshield. 9:56
2:52 Thankfully this wasn't made a yearly thing...
It was until SVR 2011
@@jaycerrito3142 Games might have had PSP exclusive wrestlers up to SVR 2011, but this was the only time they wanted you to get the game on PSP and transfer a wrestler over to the PS2 for a complete PS2 roster.
The GOAT wrestling game of the PS2 era as far as your create a wrestler mode goes.
Best channel on UA-cam, love the content
Floating tables!!!!! I meant to post this earlier when you first posted
Fun fact: When you win the WWE Championship, choose the Undisputed Title and go to Title Match mode, you can see the WWF scratch logo on the main plate.
Actually SVR 2006 provides Eugene, Trish Stratus and Torrie Wilson voice-over on Season Mode.
Still love SvR '06, play it to this day
All SVR games are lack of superstar and especially the divas. Just like wwe victoria not included in SVR 2006,2007,2008, and others wwe superstar many matches in a tv show of wwe while in the game they not included.
This is still my favorite WWE game
Sweet chin music almost as painful as your singing 😂😂 that line will never get old
I bought this game again (It's very complicated to find out in my country) and I'm playing as child... What a piece of art!
2:22 Hogan is playable in season mode
2:22 actually, only the 80's Hogan wasn't playable in the Season Mode, the current version (at the time) was! And he had his own voice acting!
They started the "You Suck" chants back in SYM.
In 2K18 my Created Wrestler uses the Heat Seeking Elbow as a finisher and Michael Cole calls it a Piledriver every damn time
I fucking remember that “sing to the music” bs come up randomly( I loved Shawn Michaels) always thinking the tone and volume were off, and feeling confused
Ahh yes the “Full-fill your Fantasy” match, or the term i christened for the “make sure your parents arent within a 30 mile vicinity when playing” match.
“The crowd I’d the most important things in wwe”
Shows in background: Empty Raw and Smackdown Arena
... that was the point
That wipe from Joy Giovanni to Vince was oddly fitting .
I unlocked Jake "The Snake" Roberts with an AR Max on this, as well as adding in MITB Ladder Match and being able to use NPC's in matches.
I even had a code which allowed a tag-team Buried Alive Match (like the one that Taker and Show had against Rock and Mankind on SD)
Not just the fulfill your fantasy but if you play as lita and taunt alot you'll get the same chants because of Matt hardy
SvR 2006 was one of the best games in the series that year.
Hulk Hogan was playable in season mode. I vividly remember that one
Who in the blue hell is hill Hogan
@@callmeshady6234 Auto correct has claimed another victim today
This was my favourite wwe game and I collected them every year from "just bring it" the gm mode in this game was ahead of its time, even for me! I didn't get it but I've now dug the game out of storage to play again and wow! It's good. The only games I played day in day out the most with.
I’ve played this game enough as a kid that I heard Taz singing before.
Weird/sad fact: SvR 2006 was released on Nov 11th 2005, 2 days before Eddie Guerrero’s death on Nov 13th 2005.
Plus, in the actual storyline “The Undertaker’s Urn,” once you defeat Taker in a Buried Alive match, he chokeslams Eddie into the casket and Eddie is buried. Just weird to think Eddie passed away in real life 2 days later.
I remember thinking the same in 2005 when I first used eddie to beat the smackdown season. my bro go Utube - are you a good person by Living Waters
The loading times on PSP were definitely horrible lol but always worth the wait
N64 games. After a strong grapple. Press a+b when you have you're special and you will use your opponents. Lol.😜
This game was such a Classic was my first WWE game I ever brought I use play it forever until 07 and GM mode caught my eye
Can you mute the commentary and get the menu music to play instead? Or are you left with just silence and just the sound effects
Fun fact there's a lot of unlockable characters for Smackdown vs Raw 2006 using the Codebreaker desk
How
Is that you could breaker disc not desk
I enjoyed the video but why did you record all gameplays in 144p???
Okay I started playing this game again. Along with smackdown vs raw 2007 and manhunt 2. How do you unlock the wrestlemania 21? Is it with the smackdown season mode? It's been years since I've played this
Fun fact: Retro Hulk Hogan is labeled as Hogan 80s even that's clearly 90s Hogan: 1990-1991 to be more specific cause if it was 80s Hogan his tang-top would have said Hulkamania and he would be wearing his Hulkamania headtie instead of his Hulk Rules du-rag.
I played it yesterday too.
