I do think you brought up a great point on why the cause of "loyalty" in the relationship is bullshit. Despite the fact that breaking any commitment is wrong..... the whole motive for loyalty is based off of insecurity alone. But, majority of people just can't evolve their thinking and it is indeed pathetic.
And this is relevant to conversation because the video as well as the person you initially replied to was discussing the temptation aspect and how it is impossible to fight because it will never go away. Winning the fight on temptation implies you have defeated it and it will never come back. He wasn't condoning cheating. Stanhope wasn't condoning cheating. And finally, I wasn't condoning cheating. You made yourself the ass without any assistance.
Your stance would only make sense if both parties agreed to an open relationship of some sort. Breaking a commitment is simply breaking a commitment. 99% of the time the commitment to "stay loyal" in a relationship is there. I could agree with my roommate that we wouldn't smear peanut butter on our balls but if I come home and see him with a butterknife and his pants down I'd be disappointed. He broke the commitment. Whether the commitment was for a worthy cause is something different.
No, it's a relationship because everyone knows that you are suppose to be faithful. That's why people sneak and shit. It's a whole different story if cheating is agreed on. But for me? Personally? It's a two people thing. The whole nine yards, including fucking.
The pure and simple fact that marriage is a legally binding contract alone make it absolutely ridiculous....
Marriage in the US is literally just a legally binding contract that makes you pay less taxes.
Exactly.
So much for "the separation of church and state", huh??

Doug should be brought in and paid to help write Game of Thrones' spin off weddings ...
I only bring chickens that peck when I go to a wedding...
@NinjaLikeTeaBagger
Thats what makes us human.
I AM NOT A HUMAN
In the best years of my life,
At least I haven’t got a wife
