Dark Light: Survivor is an exciting extension of the “Dark Light” universe. In a dying multiverse, the Phantom Train is your last hope. Traverse a post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk world filled with nightmarish creatures in this Rogue-like survival adventure.
Game Overview: In Dark Light: Survivor, you play as one of the last humans, journeying through a shattered multiverse in search of the fabled Elysium. The Dark Void has unleashed horrific creatures that decimated humanity and fractured the multiverse. Amidst this chaos, a legend speaks of an Elysium untouched by the darkness.
Humanity's remnants have uncovered celestial quantum technology, constructing the Phantom Train capable of traversing the multiverse. As a Dark Hunter aboard the Phantom Train, you must collect energy in each universe to power the train for the next leap. Prepare yourself to face increasingly terrifying and powerful creatures, for the journey is perilous, and Elysium remains elusive.

The third person and the top view is an interesting addition as shooting is good for third person and sword combat is good for top down view . Looking forward to the game

Now you just need some more crazier colorful insane environments.
Gritty insane Sci fi, toxic green waste etc. throw some color and crazy electrical elemental effects, crazier weapons etc in there 😂👍
Oh and Mad Max style jumping would be amazing, dive jumping forward and backward with guns blazing 👌

Okay, so I feel the need to highlight that the whole 'when melee swing hits multiple, the game pauses for a moment so you can process it in detail' mechanic is brilliant.

Ok, the camera switch is an interesting addition to the formula, but Will see what's the overall state of the game before giving a verdict
This is a bad ass game mechanic concept Im already playing the first title and it is very good side scroller game with tight gameplay feel. Its not confusing or over bearingly difficult either.
Can’t wait! But I hope theres like temporary power ups or permanent buffs like the original game, would be interesting to see those powers in 3rd person up close 😮

I liked, wishlisted, i want to see a lot of different enemies, places, a lot better graphics in final product, 1440p resolution, a lot of weapons ( customizable ) energy weapons too, loot, three of upgrading char ( with xp points and level ), and many other things.

Switching between perspectives is interesting, but it's going to be tough to optimize the ganeplay for both.

First thing that comes to my mind: why would I ever use 3rd person view when isometric is so much better for this kind of game.
Is there any kind of headshot/weakspot system to make use of the aiming in 3rd view?
Yes, you have the choice to aim for headshots or play in top-down view.
Not a deal breaker by any means but will it get any sort of coop down the line?

Top view is obviously better choice since it gives you more situational awareness.
Helldivers 1 is "easier" than helldivers 2 because of the top view perspective.

I bought the first dark light. I played maybe an hour and was deeply unimpressed. I'm going to say that this trailer looks great. I wish I didn't buy the 1st one. Wish I could trade for this one when it drops.

Feel like the third person in a game with hordes like that would be terrible as you can only see in one direction when you NEED to see everything trying to surround you and find opportunities to squeeze through the hordes. Why would you ever use third person?
