- In my last episode I talked about everything I did to lose weight. But it kept coming back. I continued to have weight gain and health issues. In this one I talk about starting keto and what that did to help me STAY healthy.

Sugar is also the #1 ingredient in the cans of commercial food for people with feeding tubes. My father in law had a stroke and it limited his ability to swallow..Dr's did surgery and inserted a feeding tube. Within days he became an insulin dependent Type 2 diabetic. Dr's and nurses said it's common for people to become T2D after a stroke. That's the norm. I looked at his can of adult formula and the first ingredient was CORN SYRUP. The nutritionist was extolling corn syrup and said it's a great way to get calories. We got him home and put him on a blended meat and veggies diet. Within 3 days he was no longer T2D. Dr's and nutritionist said he'd always be diabetic and it couldn't be reversed. They made us test him for 3 months. His blood sugars were always stable on meat and veggies.

Love this! Thank you for being proud of us 😍. I do have a question though. The monitor I definitely want to invest in it but does it have a monthly payment or subscription I just don’t get it.
It's kind of like a subscription. You get two every month. Each one lasts for two weeks. It's definitely the best investment I've made to stay healthy.

I have kidney stones and can’t process a lot of protein and green veggies cause them any suggestions
Hydrogenated fats are terrible as well. As bad as high fructose corn syrup is, hydrogenated oils are potentially worse. Vegetable oil/shortening should be completely avoided.
OMG I am having the bad food hangover today! We went out after church yesterday and the only choice was Wendy's, but they had no salad. So I had grilled chicken and I feel like dirt today! So crazy
HCG is the only thing that worked for me and I lost 60 pounds and have kept it off with Keto. It was done under a doctor’s supervision. You need to have walked a mile in someone else’s shoes before you judge. It takes discipline and hard work. I am not a stress eater or binge eater. I do not eat junk, sugar, or even fruit. How much do you want it!!!
There are many ppl out there that are working SUPER hard in following restrictive diets. I am happy to see something worked for you but do not judge & assume that ppl do not want it bad enough
