My Alternatives:
Blender's Pride - Oaksmith Gold
Vat 69 - Black & White or Dewar's White (slightly more expensive but very good)
Jack Daniel's - Jim Beam
Proper no. 12? Haven't had it. but Jameson's is pretty good
JW Blue - Royal Salute 21
Jw aur royal salute mein zyada price difference nahi hai
makers mark and jim beam black extra aged is far better than jack daniel both can enjoy on rocks
I explored budget whisky's recently , and found All Seasons the best , this whiskey is really great at this price range , if they(the makers) don't change or devalue its taste and composition then this is best and an eye opener to all the consumers and the makers that such a good whiskey is available and can be made in this price range

Vet 69 is best in taste and after taste, smooth, mello and vet 69 good for 8 hour sleep, and no hangover
Totally taken back by surprise! JD and Vat 69 are among most prestigious brands, i dislike them both i thought i was wrong but now my confidence got wings when you too second my thought.
JD Red Label ist the cheapest Blend with Ballantine in Europe. Around 12 Euro is the price.
Foreign Tax make it expensive in India.

I agree with your description except the jack denials JD is really a very good product in this price range ! Still I could be wrong as I have only tasted JD 3-4 times and might be influenced by its reputation

Recently tried Jim Beam and liked it better than JD, your video gives me confidence to venture more :)
I too feel Jack Daniel is overhyped even I dont like it due to its banana flavour, Jim beam is one of the smoothest whisky I have sipped!

What other brands would you suggest under 1200? I'm a regular BP guy and I always enjoyed the armed forces version rather than the regular liquor shop purchase, since it has less spirit level.

The first scotch I tasted is vat 69 but the first scotch I liked is Ballantine's finest.
I was about to go for jD...but now I will try Jim be for sure...u changed my mind in 5 mins

True bro, JW Blue label is like any 4k scotch, i tried but found nothing special in 14k bottle. VAT 69 is like spirit, nothing like scotch. I personally like Jack Daniels and keep its stock.
I found Vat69 really good. It's really smooth even having it neat and there is no hangover. I think it's great for the price range.

In my opinion, i will prefer JIM BEAM over Jac Daniel, J&B over johny walkers and Peter Scott over Blenders pride.
Suggestion - It would be great if you could add sections to your video. So that's its easier to navigate to the part or a specific alcohol we want to watch.

I’ll agree with all of your choices except blenders. Yaar woh purana sahara hai ❤❤. But others 100%. I simply love Jim Beam. Is the best sipping whiskey in the monsoon for me.

Green label is a good whisky and also decent value for money. Others are a bit too expensive for what they offer.

I agree, Wild Turkey 101 is a very good strong bourbon, also among my favorites; try Buffalo Trace, from Kentucky as well.

I'd say BP is overpriced, but not overhyped. It goes well with all kinds of mixers, good to have on the weekends, but a quarter costs Rs. 455 in Karnataka (hence overpriced according to me). Maqintosh could be a better alternative (value for money wise).

Regarding underrated Dewar's white label is the most underrated blended scotch in India.

Es mein availability ka issue bhi hai aur logon ko knowlege bhi nahin hai it is a decent whisky but competition is too hard , look at the names black and white, ballentines, william Lawson , red label, black dog, old smuggler, the famous grouse, Scottish leader, 100 piper's 8 years blended malt is also in the competition,
