@@sunwarper nice i have a model samples and a bunch of synths running thru mk2 and then thru the sp404SX for that final touch. too much fun if you ask me
@@sunwarper sometimes i use it’s compressor. it can get an interesting ducking effect while being a little ‘cleaner’ than mk2 303 sim…. sometimes i use the SX with the lofi button on and the filter down to cut off the ear piercing highs the lofi button creates, but the two together sound nice, unfortunately cant use the filter and mfx at the same time. could resample but nahh. but yeah the sx comp and the mk2 comp are different in sound, gotta turn fx limit On with Sx so it sounds good and you can adjust release
As to your question, both are helpful. Perhaps you could offer a mixture? In the beginning do some silent beat making... then in the second half, or a follow up video, do one with the process narrated as a voice over. Just check your levels, the intro was rather loud and clipping.
this is the way. i have an arrangement of synthesizers i run through my Sp404 to build tracks
Yes! That's exactly my current setup as well, I run synths, circuit and Digi into the SP and sample everything haha it works so well :)

@@mastersunfish Nice! I've heard the SX has a slightly different compressor and 404 sim, is that why you have it at the end?

Appreciate the response and that's a great idea!
