Foundation Half Double Crochet & Foundation Double Crochet | How To

Learn how to create your first row of half double crochet or double crochet without the chain with this chainless foundation crochet stitch tutorial.
No more long unruly chains or wonky ends of a finished project - the foundation stitch will be your new best friend.
I've created this video to teach you both the half double crochet foundation stitch and the double crochet foundation stitch because they're so similar, that once you get one down the other one is pretty easy.
In this tutorial, I work through 5 foundation half double crochet and 5 foundation double crochet with you slowly, explaining the stitch anatomy, why we are doing what we are doing.
I also show you a neat trick at the end. :)
