Well my leaf is very… unique, my flower has 5 petals instead of six, and it’s a little wonky around the edges but I did it!! 😂 second thing I’ve ever made, I just made a doily and then this. Thank you so much! I was able to rewind and speed up and easily find my place whenever I needed to double back
I tried this today and it came out to be a beautiful bookmark as a total newbie in crochet world this is my 1st successful project! Thank you ma'am for your crystal clear instructions! ❤
A lot of times when you put many stitches into one stitch it will hide the next stitch. After doing the 4 tr into one stitch try moving them back a little to see if the next stitch is hidden. I hope that makes sense and helps ❤
It is absolutely adorable! I have a question though.. I always come up with 5 petals.. I follow the tutorial exactly and still don't know how you are able to make 6.. what am I doing wrong? 😕
When joining the first round she makes an invisible join and that creates a new fake stitch. So total, you will get 12 stitches even though you made only 11 hdcs in the magic ring. So each petal will take up 2 stitches. 12/2= 6 petals. Hope this helps.
I love your videos. You are such a great teacher. I am currently 8 months pregnant and I want to create a lot of newborn products. Please please make easy videos on it. I’d really appreciate it

You're a wonderful teacher. The directions printed on the screen are a big help. Thanks so much for the video. I'm making several for friends and also my son and his girlfriend. Love, from Texas
I just found your channel and I am a big fan! I made your sunflower granny square bucket hat which got a ton of likes on fb. (I don’t sell stuff) I’ll be wearing it. Now this! I feel like your channel will keep me busy a long time! Thank you for all of your hard work and sharing your knowledge! So glad I found your channel.
Hi! Total beginner here and I love this idea. For some reason, the centre of my flower is stretching. I sm my tention wrong? The first one I did came out perfect and I don't know what's different.
I'm just learning also. I've mastered making 'granny squares' (the plain basic ones), but so far I'm yet to make anything else that I can recognise - hopefully that will change now that I've found this amazing lady though 😊
Hlw mam,as a beginner i have how to crochet from basics.I would sincerely request you to post a video on how to crochet kanhaji dress with full description and sizes, what material we should use including crochet numbers
I love your channel. I've tried a few of your projects as a complete beginner and find it so easy to follow your tutorials, you explain it really well and the video makes it super clear where to stitch. Every project I've tried has worked out beautifully, thank you! ❤
Thank you so much for your support and engagement, it means a lot. I am so glad that the tutorials are helpful for you and you are able to make things. Crochet is a beautiful skill and I do hope you will enjoy it and make beautiful projects. Thank you for your feedback🙂
I've made 5 so far. The first two was 6 petal, but the next one was 5. I like the 5 petal better, so the other two are 5 petal also. I'm teaching a crochet class and want to give them away. They are so cute!

You're so welcome, so glad you could make it 😊
I made it too! My first successful project after basic stitches. Thank you!❤
I haven’t crocheted in years and I was able to follow the stitches EASILY. Definitely recommend. This is great
Thank you so much!
As a bookworm myself, this is the perfect next project for me 😍
For the booklovers 🥰🤗
Beautiful bookmark! And your tutorial is very clear…thank you!!!❤️
Thank you Diane :)
anyone else come to 5 petals instead of 6? what did I do wrong 🥺🥺
You missed a stitch, most likely where you joined. If you place a stitch marker at the beginning of your rows or rounds it'll help you keep count ❤
I retried twice, didn’t work for me either. 😢
Just keep practicing.😊 I got to 4 petals my first time. Lol. Going to do it till I get it right😊🎉

@@kaylamorrison8595I’ve done it 3 times and still come out with 5!😂
Your instructions were very easy to follow and I could pause and restart anywhere throughout the tutorial. I'm excited to get this to the recipient.
Super cute and so market friendly! Thank you. I modified the pattern a bit to make it no sew, and I love it! ❤

Thank you so much! I can't wait to make one for my granddaughter and put it in a book for her summer reading!
You're welcome Mary. Your darling would surely enjoy the book with a fancy bookmark 🥰☺
I got only five petals, where did I go wrong
When you did the sl St you chain 3 then do the 4 tr, chain 3, sl St. Hope this helps
Never seen such an excellent way of explaining, thank you soo much🙏
Glad you liked it
This was so easy. Thanks! Couldn’t find my extra bookmark for my new book so I just followed this and made one instead. Now I can read in peace. Lol.
Oh ❤🌻 I'm excited to crochet this. Thank you for filming and uploading 🙏
You're welcome Danielle ☺
