I got 1 through amazon with a free pin pointer promo. Ive been back through my yard, 2 beaches and ive found more than i have with the garrett ace 150. I give this detector a 4 outta 5. Today i found 2 rings in 1 day, 2 different locations. Same location i used to search with my ace 150.
Thanks for the demo! This detector reminds me a lot of my first detector, the Dr Otek. Kinda basic but looks like it is good at finding coins. I quickly moved up to the xterra pro and then now the manticore. But i think this detector has a great place for someone starting out, especially at the price point!
I picked this unit up on Amazon for $120 as my intro into detecting. At the beach this week, and I am getting a lot of false hits in the 70 range. Going to try again today.
Only if there is metal under the coil or you are indoors where emi can cause problems. Otherwise make sure the connection wire to the search coil is tightened securely
Wondering what this is like on wet sand? I'm thinking of buying one for my young grand-daughter and the easiest sites to access for us are local beaches . . .
hi there, its not really made for wet sand detecting in reality you need to at least look at a minelab vanquish or x-terra elite, slightly above the price but will defiantly work on wet sand with NO issues

Is it supposed to beep constantly on the lowest sensitivity no matter what you point it at? Mine does that.

What's the depth like?? Gold/ silver rings, and £1/2 coins?
