What a great paring! They were really into each other. Just beautiful. I have learned so much about breeding my own spiders from watching your channel. Your channel is truly an invaluable resource. Thanks Dave!!🕸💚🕷
I just love your videos. Thank you so much. I worked at an entomology lab as a tech here in California (retired) samples came from many places in this state and others but all ours came in deceased so seeing this in the Beastie room is enchanting. I enjoy the beauty of it all. I do have to say “camera lady” is wonderful -a steady hand is not easy and the shots you all do are incredible. Best of times to you both and may all your egg sacs be FULL! 👍 I’m catching up to all your past videos as well so keep ‘em coming.
Wow, what a great pairing! The female attack in the beginning would've been enough to intimidate me enough to separate them for a while, and what a pairing I would've missed. Thankfully you knew how to read the behaviour properly and also the male being persistent enough. Great education regarding t pairings!
My heart can’t handle these videos Dave!! I let out huge scream, nephew came flying in to find out what’s wrong!! I said spider, he said where, and I pointed to my phone and he started laughing 😂! Female T’s love to make a grand entrance don’t they! And exit if they let the males leave alive! Great video Dave as always!
You know, I' m really enraptured with the colors and designs on all the lovely ladies and gents ( not just these 2 but all ofcthem) so much that I would love a wardrobe incorporating them. Not real tarantulas😱. She almost made me jump in my chair! Talk about fast! The close- ups are incredible. The work you and Camera Lady do should really be incorporated into a professional educational curriculum. Just superb!
Great filming Mrs. Beastie! 🏅Thanks Dave, for your expert 🏆commentary likely worthy of the scientific version of “ Fifty shades of emboli!” I had a great laugh and learned a few things about my C. Versicolor. ❤
Can’t get enough of these videos Dave. I have this species and I am hoping for a successful pairing down the road as you have done. The most underrated tarantula channel for sure. You make the most “feared” T’s look like kittens. Good care taker = good tarantula
I will not be becoming a Spider / Tarantula owner, they're way too fast for me. That being said, I do however RESPECT all Arachnids and Those that home/House them. I CAN definitely see why you like to have them. Learnt more about them in 2 weeks on here than the last 54 years. Cheers Dave...
Me watching the videos to understand spiders more to not fear them as badly. Especially how unboxing them goes: You go funky fellow. You did it and ya lived.
Hi Dave New Subscriber here !!! I wanted to say I’m absolutely sh*t scared of spiders 😂😂 but having watched a few videos I’m hooked and I’ve got attached to some of the spiders . Great respect for the spiders . Please please keep these up. I love seeing how the they breed, never seen any of this 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🏅🏅

Catching up with some of your older vids. Couldn't pass this one by - one of my fave species. Great to see the initial drama settled into a successful pairing.
I must admit they are a beautiful spider,,, never thought I'd hear myself say that , but ....? Great video Dave. Can't wait to see the egg sack removal ow , will be watching .. Have a wonderful week and thank you take care. xxx
Glad you liked it , did you like your little shout out , just a little thank you for sharing our videos with all your friends on that side of the pond ❤️👍
awesome vid as always, spot on with conditioning its gotta be the key to why so many of your males dont get eaten too often i see a vid with "well she hasnt eaten for weeks but lets try to pair her anyway" suprise suprise male is now lunch
That would be very interesting to be able to get a sound recorder to be able to hear the tapping when the male does what he does in order to get the female out
Such beautiful spiders!!! I've never mentioned this in any of my comments but my compliments to your wife on her AMAZING camera work!!! You two are certainly good together!!! Keep those awesome videos coming!!!
Hi Dave wow that was a bit scary at the start, I thought the Male was a goner for sure! So glad he managed to work his charms on the female though and you got a successful pairing. Great job and thanks for sharing 😁👍
Wonderful video. I wonder what the sensations are and how the emboli hold the speed. Is it suction? Who can complain? 5 star accommodation with room service an a gentleman caller!
Great pairing dave, very quick at first to run him out wasn't she. I can't believe how quick her mood changes as you say and she was then very receptive! Fingers crossed for you dude 🤘🤘

Another great video dave well done buddy, fingers crossed for that egg sack im up for adding some versicolors to my collection if everything goes well 👏🤞😁

She is absolutely beautiful 😊❤️. My female laid an infertile sac a couple months ago. I had to remove it and she was not happy at all. I would love to find her a male but no one seems to have any atm. Great video Dave!!! Tyfs God bless you
Yes my last sack was no good but she has a sack from this pairing which was 6 months ago and due to hatch in the next few weeks so fingers crossed we have a good one this time 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties best wishes Dave. I have had this girl since she was teeny tiny and I hadn't bred her so this was definitely a phantom sac. There was almost 200 eggs in it. She had two other siblings but they died full grown. I have no clue why, they were all kept the same..
@@debbiemcclure2874 sometimes there is no obvious reasons for the loss of a spider which can be frustrating to say the least, 200 is a good size sack I would try her and see what happens.👍
This is great! Question: Obviously this setup works for you, but everybody goes on about how versicolor needs cross ventilation. I would think the glass walls of the Exo-terra (?) cages wouldn't be great for that. What are your thoughts? We've had bad luck with versicolor in the past (possibly a combination of not enough cross ventilation and being too wet) and I really want to get it right when we try again.
I have also kept the in air tight containers with no problems ?most keep them to wet they actually like a dry environment but with reasonable humidity 👍
Dave’s commentary absolutely makes the pairing videos😂
What a beautiful species.

"What a lovely insertion" he says, right as my mother and brother step into the room 😂 @5:51

They have scopulae, that is microscopic hairs, that create a tiny vacuum, so that they better can run around in the treer, where they dwell....😄👍
