I'm glad I found this. I have a male regalis I recently aquired. Last night these 2 love birds woke me up tapping between enclosures. Today I tried to pair. She wanted him. He ran. Then she went and hid as if bored. So I pulled him out. I'll try again tomorrow
I just noticed how she is tapping away as she comes up and out; he only does 1 tap at a time. A true spider of few words and she is a chatterbox by comparison. So interesting how different they are.

Beautiful species of tarantulas but I once saw a video of one being handled by a guy and the thing jumped from his arm to his body, I think at that point, I would’ve fainted, I didn’t know those things jumped.
Yup…I had one jump to a table, it was a bit too far, too hard of landing…cracked the abdomen. It died before I read that you have to super glue their crack. Is that true even?
We have a reptile shop near us. I feel so much more confident and educated going into shop to take a look around. I must admit though, I'm waiting for a seledonia from you... I don't care how long I have to wait - it will be worth waiting for 💯

I'm writing down notes about the pearing there is a lot of interesting education about that fixation of when that happens betwneen both spiders how much do fed before mating how often a molt before mating , videos provide a lot of information to right now to write a book about tarantulas mating I've never seen any books educated directly on that but it would be quite interesting

I think the males are inherently scared to death of becoming dinner.
It is kind of cute the way they communicate by tapping their feet

I Believe in some of the other pairing the female does the same then eats them, like she almost did. Be Calm, Be Gentle and Love Your Spider =)
