- Avic avic, Common Pink Toe egg sack removal and rehouse
Today we remove our Common Pink Toes egg sack at 30 days, she eat her last one so we are not taking any chances, I also like to rehouse them at the same time as this starts them on the right path ready for moulting out and getting back into prime condition.

I know they move on pretty quickly after the eggs are pulled, but I have to admit, watching her holding on was just heartbreaking. The poor sweet momma doesn't know her babies are in good hands. It was so endearing to see the desperate, peaceful defense she mounted
I never thought I would "awwwww" at a tarantula, but she was so cute trying to protect her egg sac! Simply stunning T!
Only recently discovered your channel. The camera lady does a great job 👍 I'm binge watching your videos at the moment. This is probably my favourite so far, reminds me of a tiny furry kitten! 😊
Awesome! Thank you!❤️❤️❤️
Me too.!! So interesting.
I binge watch them too
Next time you go to catch moss please film it I want to see moss run lol
Their fangs showing already, amazing.
I never noticed that EWLs actually have tiny fangs. Awesome 👍🏻
They are tiny replicas 👍
Those pink toes are absolutely adorable
I don't understand how your not a bigger UA-camr.
Thanks matey I have only been going for just a year and this is the only platform I use apart from Facebook .👍
Such cute toes! No need for the nail salon. Beautiful coloring throughout.
She's soo cute! 😍 Congrats with the babies 🥳
I learn so much from you and the love you express warms my heart ❤️. You and your wife are such beautiful souls. I feel so blessed that I have your channel to go to. I have to get another MRI because of the many headaches I get and have to get an endoscopy because of bad problems with my tummy from many years of taking ibuprofen as directed by Drs. Your channel is like having family to go to. Thank you for just being you. So very wonderful and comforting for me.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yeah it doesn't look like it will run around after the spider lol you crack me up
Love the music 🎶… I have this picture in my head of Dave in the background dancing a jig😂
Aww their teeny tiny fangs. I love baby Spiders
Awwww- what a good fluffy mommy 😭❤️ And of *course* an Avic would make the cutest, most cottony bunny tail puff of an egg sac ever 🤗
It was rather sweet 😂👍
Wow! The difference between this mother and all the other ones that were lunging and fighting you is something to behold. She's so gentle! Maybe one day I could actually work up the courage to pet a spider like her.
This video has one of my favorite Camera Lady giggles 😄
Wow!! Being a mum, trimmed her down,
She will be a hungry one!!!
She certainly was a tough one to realise
That sac!!! Her foot pads had the most
Georgios indigo coloring!!👌👌👌🥂🥂
Congrats on the good sac ! Every captive-bred/hatched sling out there makes wild caught Avics even less and less popular. As much as I try to stick with basic terrestrials, I'll surely end up with one of these beauties at one point. Gotta love the hobby classics. Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
They really are a stunning group of spiders 👍
I was literally about to ask about the varied belly sizes when you brought it up. I love the baby fangs great shots and again awesome content for all audiences. You have not converted me yet but I loves watching all you old vids
I could see their wee black fangs... So cute!!
What a great little spider! My daughter is thinking of getting a Pink Toe as her first T.
Soo cute! Her little pink toes...aww
I LOVE Avics! They are so gentle and sweet.
I love my avic avic sling from you, it's eating and moulting well 🖤🕷
Glad to hear it 👍❤️
You should look for buried treasure in that Forest you obtain that Moss from because that Moss always looks fantastic! It looks like it came from the Enchanted Forest.🤔🤫🤭🤭😉 I just also realized, you are one of the few UA-camrs that I actually watch in normal speed!🤗😬
Thanks Jay glad you like the videos, I loved your intro on ff3 cracked me up mate 😂😂😂👍
Had to scroll forward. Seeing that terrarium on the edge was giving me massive anxiety. I wanted to reach through my screen and put it securely on the table.
Its very safe my friend ❤️👍
I've often noted and felt that but I know Dave is in complete control of the situation. I' d have tarantulas running all over the place and would not trust myself to have the calm, steady skills needed here.
Eggs with legs are very cute.
Congratulations on 111 spiders. Mom is beautiful.
She really is a stunner ❤️
@@daveslittlebeasties I have been watching for a few months. I love your shows. You give information about the spiders. I have been afraid of spiders since I was a kid. I am 55 years old. I am going to capture a jumping spider. The one I found is large. I just want to study it for a short time. Then I will release it back where I found it.
Thank you for your videos. And giving me the confidence to capture one.
@@jenniferbeyer6412 You got this Jennifer I look forward to hearing how you get on 😂👍
Here in NY, we have cellar spiders all over, and naturally, in the cellar. Every year their babies hatch and start ballooning away. Really cool to see. We have a wet basement anyway, so I leave them along with the centipedes to get rid of pests.
Got to have your little helpers😂👍
Congratulations dave. always nice to end up with ewls .. Even more so after a failed sac
Yes very pleased with these finally 😂👍
She is such a beautiful spider, and as always a fantastic video. Dave, I could listen to you talk all night, it is 1:30 AM here in Tennessee in the US
Your so kind im glad your enjoying listening to the videos, I will have to remind my wife she said I talk to much 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️
Congratulations Dave and camera lady!!! I got really excited when I saw the tiny little ewls😊. Some people give them their egg sacs back after removing the babies. Kinda helps the mama. She is quite gorgeous btw. I have a juvie suspect female. Tysf God bless you
Yes but I see no reason in prolonging it better she feeds and forgets 👍😂
how this channel doesn't have more subscribers is beyond me. Easily my favorite exotics husbandry channel out there. Thanks, Dave. You're making my daughter and I want to take up this hobby. Appreciate what you do.
Awesome thank you 🙏
Oh! She's amazing! The cutest little feet i've ever seen!
She's beautiful! I miss my pinktoe.
She is so fluffin’ cute. Those peachy toes. Dave, I’ve always been so impressed with how beautiful and healthy your T’s are. They are well taken care of!
Thank you 🙏
She's got the cutest shoes.❤
Nice video. Yes sterilizing stuff is not good! Nice tanks you build. I also collect moss, bark and soil from nature. When i planted my back yard i saved all the soil i digged up. It was a claysoil. I mux tgat up or yse it pure in some enclosures, especially for baboons. Nice clutch there. Avics are speicies i have no experience in breeding. I have thot have that many speicies of honestly. When i bred tarantulas seriously i putted them in individual pots when they where eggs with legs or nymphs, if the eggsack was small. Because chasing around fully develoupt spiderlings us much harder. If the clutch was very large i sold them off when they where eggs with legs, or i letted canibalisms reducing the numbers a little
Sometimes I like to leave them with the female and hatch and some I remove all depends on what I am doing with them 😂👍
Such a beautiful and sweet avic. I love 💕 her. I have watched this video four times in a row today
Thank you so much!!
Always a little sunshine even on a cloudy day. Love ❤️ to you and the Mrs. My pleasure to watch.
Omg I love u pointed out some of us panicking that was on the corner cause I kept looking at it. Lol
It made me a bit sad for the mom when you took the egg sac and she was trying to hold onto it. Silly I know, but I’m a mom and I love nature. I liked this video 👍🏼
I know you have to do it, but it is almost heartbreaking to see her cling onto the sac to protect it while you try to take it away... lol Love my Pink Toe! :)
I feel the same..!!😢 And I don't even HAVE kids!
Same here, only my nieces and nephews but aawwww🥺🥰
I don’t know if you had the Mr Rogers TV show where you’re at, I’m in the US. But you’re like the Mr Rogers of Tarantulas! ❤️
We've never had a Mr Rogers TV show in the UK pal...all the best 👍 from Scotland 🇬🇧 🙏💙
Dave every time I think you can't surprise me anymore I find one of your videos and wham you surprise me with something so special. I would love to breed my Avic one day and this episode is an absolute gold mine of information ! Thanks so much for sharing this God bless brother and Camera master for a job so extremely well done ❤
Thank you so much my friend ❤👍
@@daveslittlebeasties Warmly welcome too be sure ❤
Gorgeous Dave they are as docile has a spider can get.mine is super chilled.the babies gorgeous thanks for sharing.
Cheers matey, they are lovely spiders to keep 👍
I'm pretty new to the hobby and just ordered myself an avic and a G.pulchripes today, I'm still nervous about going wrong or not knowing enough when it comes to tarantulas but I cannot say how much your channel has helped me. I only found it earlier this evening as someone on a facebook group recommended it to me, and already I just feel so much less worried about keeping my first arboreal. Your calm demeanour and your enthusiasm and the way you explain things is just so, so reassuring and I already feel more confident, I'm even more excited to get my A. Aviculara now! Thank you immensely, I look forward to watching the rest of your videos!
I've been going back and fourth about getting into the hobby for 3 years now and I'm so glad I finally made the leap. This autumn I brought my first T, a curly hair (unknown if true or hobby form but I'm not interested in breeding either way), and the seller gave me an N. chromatus sling for free. Now i've got my G. pulchripes and A.avicularia on the way and i'm so excited. The people in this hobby have been beyond kind and helpful to me and i've already learnt what a fantastic community it is.
Thats awsome ❤️
I watched this and had to go back and watch the pairing video to maintain my knowledge and wow was that video amazing, I am so glad the egg sac is amazing for the couple! I hope they are both very happy still.
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a good momma Pink toe trying to protect her babies ! Good job momma
Great work Dave and Camera Lady!! You two are a great team! God Bless and keep up the fantastic work!!
Your very kind and thanks for the support ❤️❤️❤️
Visions of you chasing wild caught moss lol 😆
😂😂😂Its harder than it sounds matey 😂😂😂😂
@@daveslittlebeasties all of a sudden got a flashback to the goons, sure they did something like that, may have been a haggis
The first plant you put in that tank is called a calathea. Commonly called a prayer plants. The second little one the peperomia can be a pain in the backside. Just want to mention, that Calatheas are very prone to spider mites. When you first get them home, give them a really good wash in warm, soapy water 👍
There is nothing cuter then those precious little pink tootsies! That said, every time I watch one of these videos and the spider is hanging onto the egg sac I just imagine them yelling 'No! Them my eggs! MY EGGS!" Heh. Love the video! The babies are adorable. I'm not sure if they're later in their gestation than the other egg sacs I've seen in your videos, but I find it very interesting that they're not holding onto their abdomens like some of the others that you have opened. Is that an Avic thing or?
Beautiful girl! Congratulations on the babies! Ewls have got to be one of the cutest things on the planet.
😂 they are fascinating little things 👍
Love the term Eels. I was trying to think of something shorter to call them.
Congratulations! More avic avic slings to come!
They will soon be ready 👍👍
Congratulations on your little spiders. I am still amazed at the way they can thrive outside the egg sac.
Great video Dave, the best of luck with the babies, she certainly put up a fight for the egg sac, but another brilliant job by yourself and camera lady, really enjoyed it Dave.
Thanks George we were well pleased with the result 👍
Love your videos. You always seem very calm and knowledgeable and explain everything really well.
You can tell the spiders love you it’s rare I see them upset when you rehouse or remove the egg sacks like in this video. She showed no aggression at all. Look forward to my next notification of a new video 🙂 P.S am terrified of spiders when faced with them but very curious about them 😂
Thanks for watching Gemma maybe one day you will get over your fear and like in our videos you will see they are not all that bad 😂👍❤️
Camera lady deserves a raise
Those pink toes 💓and I just love how calm she is. Congrats papa 😊
Thank you my friend 👍
Such a beautiful spida!
Eggs with legs! 👍
New cage nice layout! Cute baby spider!
Thank you! Cheers!
Realize this is an older video, but my absolute fav arboreal, gorgeous ! Very envious :p
This is such lovely music Sir when you showed those beautiful babies I felt so happy for you and Camera Lady as you had been waiting for so long
Keeping my promise to go through my history and give you the thumbs up and praises you so deserve. Love and Hugs Always.
AH thank you Tina ❤️❤️❤️
111...Happy days!
Love her new set up too!
Thanks matey 👍
What a beautiful Spider! And well done with the babies.
Thank you 👍
Wow, amazing clutch! Congratulations Beastie team!
A little remark on the moss and bark part, I highly recommend people to keep away from sterilizing, you can do way more harm than good with this approach. However, since many will do it regardless of advice, what you can do if you really want to do it is to let the items soak in pure water overnight, this will make all the crawlers leave the items and you won't kill the moss or damage the wood. You would miss out on the beneficial micro-fauna it comes with, but I guess this is the best way to do it if you really want this approach. And if you wanna go this sterile way, you can add captive bred isopods and springtails.
But keep in mind something very important, Dave's been doing it the natural way for many years without any problems of this nature, even with amphibians which are waaaaay more sensitive than T's. So there's that.
Thanks buddy its hard for people to try sometimes as a lot of these myths have been doing the rounds for many years and are often repeated again and again without any first hand Experience just repeated hearsay .
@@daveslittlebeasties Yes, especially since fear is such a dominant feeling. It's way easier to muddy up a glass of clean water than it is to clean a glass of muddy water.
@@molnaralexandru3485 Very true mate👍👍
That was an amazing video Dave

Fantastic upload again. One of the best in your category.

Congratulations. Looking forward to those being available!!
Very soon my friend I will post on my Facebook page 👍
Such obliging little beasts although all your tarantulas are chilled out to be fair.Love the Avics nice video.Stay safe all the best.Tony
Congratulations! I love her, I want her 😍 I always feel so bad when their sacs get pulled, they do somehow look sad for a bit, until they get their first meals and perhaps realize the responsibility is gone and can keep all the food for themselves, lol. Love from Philadelphia, PA USA xx
Thank you so much , they soon forget and settle 👍
Dave’s favourite things to say:
Now then!
What we’re gonna do!
I am absolutely chuffed to bits!
Kills me every time Dave 😂😂!
Awesome video! You know it’s a good Monday when Dave uploads a video that’s over half an hour long!
Also it may seem far off but at the rate you’re going it’ll come quick Dave! What do you have planned for 10K subscribers?
Like geez it feels like you’re gaining subscribers by the hour at this point Dave! I guess you just needed your fire to get going good!
Its been an amazing journey and the support has been phenomenal we are blown away with the interest our videos get ❤️👍
@@daveslittlebeasties To say you deserve it Dave would be an understatement by far! I have no words to describe you or your channel!
Never get bored of watching avic videos
I love A. Avicularia. It was my first T species. I now have 2 of them. My original one is a confirm Female, Pinkie Pie. I don’t think I’ll ever see my self with out one. They are so fun, and “sweet”.
Oh wow! I haven't seen this T before. (new to watching spider vids) would have to say she is so cute! And so lovely! All those babies wow haha
Welcome to our channel Luka and yes the Avicularia are a very pretty group of spiders👍
Hello! I’ve been binging your videos lol. Also, from all of your tarantula pairing videos I’ve seen, your tarantula pairings seem very successful a lot of the time, with the male surviving and the female laying a egg sack!
Thank you so much 👍❤️❤️
Great morning watching dave and one of his lovely beasties! As an amateur keeper man i love your channel!
Thanks my friend there is lots more coming 😂👍
Amazing set-up dave! Love the moss! It looks so natural

Did you get to see the insemination? Avics DO have a very specific way of breeding... 🥰
At the part you said "I think we pulled this just in time" my 2year old daughter shook her head and said "No no no no" so I'm not quite sure why but she seems to disagree and thinks she knows better 🤣

@@daveslittlebeasties I mean you have on your channel regurarly very good content. You show us a lot of full grown T´s, nice Bio Set ups and Tipps&Tricks for husbandry and in a way which is good for the hobby (no sensational reasons).
