Pak Army EXCLUSIVE | COAS Gen Asim Munir losing Army's confidence with nepotism

  • For decades, the #pakistanarmy has managed to retain control of domestic politics and influence the country's foreign policy through its internal discipline, meritocracy and chain of command. Not anymore. Since the the exit of #coas #general #bajwa and the new set up of #genasimmunir, the country's most "organized organization" is suffering through nepotism which will likely affect the army's internal politics.

Same here. Back then people used to make fun of the important issues and how political maneuvering and election rigging and lavish spending continued increasing :/.
Now, we try to defend the military in somethings in which people do fake propaganda and people keep bashing them for no logical reason even.

Indeed. When Karachi operation cleanup was underway, we Karachi walas were ridicule and called terrorists. But only few military officers told the truth…
My brother in law is shaheed of kargirl, and the stories we were told were lies mostly lies as well.. what is astonishing the ppl of Pakistan always fell for emotional drama instead of seeking the truth and ask questions. In 2018 same establishment openly brought in IK into power and IK took all the benefits of being PM however the supporters practicing selective ignorance and allowing that man to stay relevant in Pakistani politics? Same goes for nawaz sharif’s supporters.
The only solution is to reject these politicians as soon as we establish they have take any help from the establishment. This will bring honest ppl forward into the political scene of Pakistan.

I fully share your sentiments as I applied for the airforce in September 1965 and was rejected but ISSB Kohat approved me for induction the army which I did not accept. I proceeded to UK and live in the USA but always thought that maybe i should have joined the army. But after observing the army for all these years I am now glad I did not and Bajwa has certainly been the nail in the coffin as they say. My dad joined the Pakistan National Guard after partition as a major and resigned because of certain inappropriate actions of a colonel who he caught red-handed and questioned him. The army has lost all respect with the average Pakistani no one I know supports the army anymore.

Unfortunately, Pakistan never had a taste of a true democracy. Military dictatorship with each dictator implementing his own policies to run the country has damaged their (Army) ability to demonstrate professionalism. It will take decades for Army to fix this OR if this continues Army will be responsible for the situation. Pak army was once my best army and i feel so proud of them. Now hearing all their backdoor plans the respect has gone down a lot. The soilders might be still patrotic but upper officers are so currupt, polluted and became too involve in others privacy which is not their job. Their intellectual level is gone down specially bajwa and this current hafiz guy. They talk also no one finds any roob and dabdaba.
