Just a quick tip on when to do capstones. You can't equip sacred gear until lvl 35 now & you can't equip ancestoral gear until lvl 55 now so I'd recommend doing the capstones at those levels. Great vid Lurkin! Always look to your channel for the best Sorc info!
Once i got fractured, fists of fate, and temerity from the caches, i used a hydra and conjuration build to blast through. Mothers embrace helped. Serpent aspect for +1 hydra, and hydra heads and hydra dmg tempers. Conjuration mastery, manual cast of ice blades and light spears, and spam frost orbs to proc fractured, fireball and forb/hydra enchant. I used all uniques from low lvl to lvl 100, im still using fof and fractured lvl 725 due to good roll. At lvl 70, i did high nmd easily and pit30+ just for testing. Mobs were 40-50 levels higher with 0 issues and no deaths, even hordes t3-4, didnt try higher. It was one of the fastest and easiest builds ive ever tried for leveling and it will help u farm easily for other builds at lvl 100.
Decided to roll Rogue this season as I have never really had one and within the first day I just can't get myself into the playstyle so opting to speedily re-roll a Sorc again... despite the unwhelming chain lightnign I figure i'll do that until I feel sub-par and then swap out to incinerate. Great guide and looking forward to testing out the builds.
Tried the firewall/hydra build last night. Did 4 dungeons just too unlock aspects, mage lvl 15 quest, and seasonal quests+helltide. Wasnt paying attention and when i logged off i realized i was already over 40 and had forgotten to even consider the capstone dungeon. Next time i log in tomorrow ill slap a couple tempers on items, smash capstone, and hit helltide long enough to replace all my items with sacreds. At that point i shouldbe ready to do some nightmare dungeons.
I’m using this build right now and life life on hit with starlight helps me get the mana under control with the axial, until you get the max roll of recharging. The bounces tops of your health and each bounce is a percentage resource regen; sorc level 25 and mana is not an issue!
*Hydra is probably the best leveling build in the game. You can play it one handed, while holding you 5 month old child in your other hand* Between the (+2 hydra heads temper) and the other tempers that drastically increase DOT fire damage, the +1 hydra spawn enchantment, and all the new aspects added that do AOE explosions and modify fire damage, you can clear any content in the base game including all pre-Durial bosses, NMs and Hordes. By the time you get to 100 you will have found all the gear needed to go bouncing fireballs with is legit nuts
If I plan to use your Leveling Incinerate build, can I still use it towards end game or is it better to switch for another build with uniques/mythic items?
If I have overflowing you might not need orange herald or vice versa. If orange herald isn’t need take esus boots. If overflowing isn’t needed take Vyrs
Two questions for CL - I noticed that maxroll has a chain lightning build that's basically an andariel/Axial proc vehicle (they claim chain lightning damage is completely irrelevant once those two items are present)... does that sound plausible (how much damage is the proc and how much damage is the CL buff?). Question two - why not extra bounces on CL? I notice that basically no one uses it in their end game builds, wouldn't it also help with the mana on top of th damage?
I thought it was supposed to scale with chain lightning, because they bug fixed axial to work with greater CL (30% damage skill node). I don’t know what’s going on with chain lightning honestly. The prognosis isn’t good. When they gave me this unique in the PTR it was bugged in 2 opposite ways. One itself sucked, and 2 was it scaled stupid hard with Lucion. I couldn’t get a good measure of the unique, especially after seeing 3 major bug fixes to it. I’ll get around to it after splintering
Only thing that concerns me is if I can do wt3 with chain lightning at level 30? (after getting second enchantment). Probably I will go firewall to finish Dungeon and go CL afterwards. Because killing collector with CL is cancer.
So just wing it, burning good, seasonal quests, helltides, get into nightmare dungeons and adjust your build based on drops. I'll check back later for build updates.
so i did that last season with incinerate. incinerate was so strong i found myself never needing or wanting to cast hydra. it became a dead skill and had no damage compared to flamethrower staff incinerate. i tried. you can plug it in there tho, drop a defensive like flame shield or nova

yeah tbh i just make the builds. leveling strats arent my specialty its over in a day
The main reason you do capstone is not the gear upgrade, sure its nice, but if you can roll throug the game on T3 why stay in T2,
@@kaas323 Don't think anybody is rolling through T3 without sacred gear. Hence, why I recommend to wait til it can potentially drop which is lvl 35
Nah too slow xp. Do capstone around 20, and 51. Go super early to high xp tier, go to helltide and leech xp and gear near blood maiden

burning builds are super strong right now. combustion passive is so much power early
On your Chain Lightning build guide on Mobalytics, do you spam-cast Chain Lighting or just cast once (with Axial Conduit equipped)?
spam cast it forever. always casting mana is fine

thank you for the insight. I will make a hydra leveling build next season

Could you explain why you chose aspect of orange herald for midgame chain lightning build? Does overflowing energy have cooldown?
If I have overflowing you might not need orange herald or vice versa. If orange herald isn’t need take esus boots. If overflowing isn’t needed take Vyrs

loving the Chain Lightning build, pumping wt4 nmd no worries. looking forward to the endgame version!
Land slide or fireball fist of fate or blizz frost nova? Last min melt down paralysis

I’m thinking a fractured full conj build for the fun. But full frozen orb. Possibly full shock build end game.
Thanks you, going chain lightning

basically yes lol. slot points in inciinerate or firewall and wiing the shit out of iti
How about a hydra/incinerate build? Can you make one of those?

Thank you for video, hope I can play with splintering sorc soon. Also I hope for early winterglass 2 GA 😂
I hope so too!
Are leveling builds still a thing? You can walk to 100 now
leveling is super fast now, but some people don't like to make decisions
Hey, thanks for your build !
gotchu
new player can use?
For sure
Incinerate, chain after you get axial
prolly the angle
