When you put the JUNK marker on gear that contains a gem and then sell the gear, you actually are also selling the gem. I don't think that is a good practice.
That is true and if you are short on gems or the material to make them you should definitely break those gear pieces down, rather than sell. 👍👍Please thumbs up👍 the comment above so more people see it, ty!👍👍
- click shift when hovering over an item in the inventory and it will compare to the item you wear. - salvaging items with socketed gems will give the gems back. (and also masterworking material and uber unique sparks!) - elixir of Antivenim will not stack anymore in Season 5, but for now its cheap and great
Thanks bud Solid tips Time to reroll my armour tempering to natural resistance 😂 Was getting one shotted but glad I found this video .. very informative
Great tips, as always. BTW, that up arrow on your healing potion means you have reached the next level to upgrade it, which is also very important to help keep you from being one-shotted. You were right there at the potion maker and could have upgraded.
It is important, knowing me I had spent all of the needed resources needed to upgrade the potion testing something or the potion was irrelevant to the build at the time. It’s usually one of those.
@@OwnModeGaming Yeah, last levels are pretty expensive for what they do anyways, since most of the healing comes from the % max health and it does not change when you upgrade them
@@meksil8776 Agreed. I remember pushing the pit when it released and I had so much life on my Necro that the potions did almost nothing. I had to spam a bunch to get it to do anything. 😄
In early game I’m just checking for higher armor and higher dps and I equip anything better. I’m not worrying about the affixes. Takes out a lot of decisions on stuff I’m not going to have for long. In endgame (wt4 and after) I’m using the compare a ton.
Awsome tips, dude. I recently started Diablo and have been putting quite abit into my armour buffs as i would find myself being 1 shot some times. I think im up to like 17k armour. Time to re roll 💪🏽 Legend
Hey OwnMode. Loved the last one about antivenin, that is a huge secret performance boost, thank you so much for that. One question, when you sell items, isn't it more efficient to just right click each item as you scan over it? (instead of marking it as junk). Marking as junk then doing one additional right click is redundant no? Even if you make a mistake you can buy back. For me most efficient is to go to vendor first, then as you have the sell window up you can see which items on salvage give an aspect upgrade and you just right click and sell everything else.....
Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. It is one less click the way your suggesting and I almost switched to it, since this video came out, but I realized I didn't like the limit on the buy back so I like my last check in my bag rather than hoping I catch it selling one at a time. Either really works, especially if you already dropped of the good stuff in your stash and all that's left is breakdowns and things to sell. I also just got a comment from @frankschwarz408 saying that you don't get the antivenin xp boost unless you load it before the second potion and that the stack is going away next season. Just wanted to let you to know!
one thing I've noticed in completing the pits. you don't actually have a destination inside the pit.I thought that going into the pit there was a destination in order to complete it until the portal showed up.😅 over time i learned it's about how many number of enemies you can kill. in the shortest amount of time.as an experiment I went wandering through a pit and it seems to goes endlessly. its seems very large the pit dungeon map.thanks for the videos I'm running a blood surge build.Having the time of my life. Haven't played since season one. This loot reborn season Is really awesome
I have not tried seeing how big the map that's pretty cool You are so welcome! It has gotten so much better and I'm glad to hear you're having the time of your life 🙌
Great video, thanks. Regarding the armour cap, does that mean that any aspects that build additional armour or any potion buffs are useless if you're already there? Thanks
I got those same kind of boots with the +27% to movement speed. Then an amulet with +10 & +15. So, 52% base speed now on a Firewall Sorcerer. Then you add the +25% from running thru my firewall and I'm book'n it.
So you don't have to look at it twice, once when you look at the items you pick up, and second when you decide what you should sell or keep or salvage. Just Mark it as you look at it the first time
You can do either way now that they have removed the “are you sure” pop up when selling legendaries. This way still does give extra protection as there is a limit on buy backs when already sold but it’s easy to un slash.
@OwnModeGaming speaking of which, why is there a limited amount of buy back? It can't be too difficult to add a slider to the bottom. And on the subject of the trash marking, I'm on console. If I was still on my pc, I'd have no complaints. But on console, it's a pain.
@@halfkimchi45 Most of the items I loot, I don't even look at them tbh, I pretty much never check an item while I'm farming either, this only ever happens during the early lvling. I only ever check my items at the vendor and pretty early into the season I don't even read them unless they have enhanced stats, except for items which require specific skill points since they're rarer. Also since I run Arlequin I know I can sell any helms I get, same goes for all slots for which I need an unique. So marking items is pretty much useless to me, basically it's just 1 more input overall cause you gotta right click 1 of the items you marked after marking them all. Being able to sell all would be a major time saver cause I'd be able to look at 0 to 3 items per full inventory and insta sell the rest w/o even having to look at them. I don't understand why this isn't a thing tbh, the less input you have to make, the most effective you'll be. Most of what we loot is junk, so why would we mark 99.99...% of our loot as junk in order to sell it instead of marking .00...1% of our loot as fav in order to sell all the rest in one click?
Depending on the objectives in the map it is very doable. You also have to keep moving, not worrying about clearing anything you don't have to. I've actually done a clear under 2min. If you want to see what maps make it possible go check out the maxroll.gg 's glyph leveling tier list. maxroll.gg/d4/tierlists/nightmare-dungeon-glyph-leveling-tier-list
Serious question. Why are you in such a hurry to level and finish the game? I do find your videos very helpful and informative, but I also like to see and experience the whole game. It’s more satisfying to me to explore and enjoy the game rather than racing to the end. Just my thoughts.
It's not level and finish the game its get to new builds and new material. I have done the leveling thing a ton, the fun for me is seeing where i can speed it up and having the ability of taking more character to endgame to try a ton of builds. For anybody that is doing the campaign for the first time I think they should take their time. It is an awesome storyline. For people that have taken many characters into endgame, like me, I think they can get burnt out spending a ton of time on things they have already done, time and time again.
@@OwnModeGaming Yeah, like doing the Nightmare dungeons over and over and over again. I get fatigued by the time I have my major glyphs leveled to around 17. And, just a heads up, I've had unmarked legendaries that leveled up tempering, so I've gotten careful about simply selling them. I always scrap the ones which have the abilities I most rely on.
Lol! Thats funny, I thought the same to myself after I recorded that. I had an impulse to jump back in and make sure I had max by masterworking my armor piece that had the armor affix.

Yes, it makes additional armor points useless, from any source. You can still get “damage reduction” affixes or paragon nodes.

If you have to push a button to mark the item you're selling, why not just push a button to sell said item?
