Jurassic World is InGen's reboot from a failed Jurassic Park Biological Preserve.
The Island called Isla Numbar also known as Site B has tens of thousands of Dinosaur Species in their own exhibit with highly advance security and monitoring measures taking place.
There is a restricted zone location at the northern area of the park where the Old Jurassic Park exhibit and Welcome Center used to be.

I was hoping to have that happen during JW dominion. Wow was I just disappointed. I really was hoping for that child nostalgic feeling again. Maybe its my fault for expecting it to happen again like it did with this movie.

1:05 john Hammond: Welcome to Jurassic Park.

Here is what happen why Jurassic World opened fulfilling John Hammond's Dream:
In 1994, an InGen clean-up team went to the island to perform an analysis of the incident and record the current state of the island's dinosaur inhabitants. Their report, published in 1996, documented the state of the park and noted that while animal numbers were reduced, a relatively stable ecosystem had been established. They also recorded they had discovered the remains of adolescent Velociraptors (suggesting the presence of a sustained population on the island) and the presence of Compsognathus, a species bred on Sorna, but which had never been transported to Nublar (it was suggested they hopped between islands via cargo ships). Long after John Hammond died, and Masrani Group brought all the stocks and shares of InGen. Masrani Group decided to destroy all the species of dinosaurs in Both Isla Nublar which it's called SITE A and Isla Sorna called SITE B where InGen Geneticists make and breed dinosaurs. They did it by using very potent poison odorless gas mixed with Lysine. And collected their 'Dino-DNA' for future genetic make ups of dinosaurs. After a serious dubious legal status of the island, a long battle with the Costa Rica Government, United Nations and the World Courts, ensured the Nublar population remained relatively undisturbed in which they all lost; until the early 2000s. The Masrani Group began construction of the Jurassic World Park.
    Opening of Jurassic World Park.
In 2002, Simon Masrani, the new CEO of InGen following John Hammond's passing, built a new, much larger dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, in the southern part of Isla Nublar. The park started off with 8 species of dinosaurs that possibly came from the original park, such as the Tyrannosaurus rex, but over the years the number of species on the island grew to 20, both through cloning and transporting animals from Isla Sorna (the ecosystem of which had been irrevocably damaged by Masrani illegally cloning undocumented species such as the Spinosaurus and releasing them on the island). Many of the buildings of the old park, like the Visitor Center, are still on the island, but are overgrown by the jungle and inaccessible to park guests.
The park opened with over 90,000 visitors in 2005 but by 2015, visitor count went to 20,000 tourists a day. The investors knew that each time the park added a new dinosaur, attendance spiked so they decided to begin creating genetically altered dinosaurs that could wow the crowds. And thus the Indominus rex came to be. Once it was announced to the public, ticket sales and preorders skyrocketed, however, the Indominus rex eventually escaped and caused chaos all over the park, resulting in the deaths of at least 18 people, including Masrani himself, and many more were gravely injured following the escape of the Dimorphodon and Pteranodon from the Jurassic World Aviary. Although the hybrid was killed in the end, the park suffered an enormous amount of damage and was shut down, leaving the abandoned island for the dinosaurs again.
    Six Kids Stranded incident:
6 kids participated in Camp Cretaceous, a Dinosaur camp on the opposite side of Jurassic World. The camp began a few days before the incident. The incident, however, not only effected the people in Jurassic World, but the campers in Camp Cretaceous as well. The campers encountered the Indominous Rex a few times, were chased by the Indominous Rex twice, and also witnessed Mansrani's helicopter crashing. Unfortunately, the six were left stranded on the island, due to not arriving at the Ferry on time. Stranded on the island, the campers looked for ways to survive and get off the island, while avoiding being eaten by dinosaurs, as well as harmed by some humans. While experiencing some failed attempts to get off the island, the 6 finally depart the island on a Yacht 6 months later. Jurassic World was officially closed and abandoned indefinitely! Dinosaurs in that island will have to fend and hunt for themselves. A global defense team is deployed to prevent Dinosaurs from leaving the Island and into human and animal global population. A proposal from the United Nations wants all the dinosaurs destroyed. InGen who still owns the dinosaurs are trying to prevent U.N.'s executional tactics but lost in World Courts. The execution of all dinosaurs will be commenced by 2016 until something happen to the Island.
"Life will not be contained. Life Breaks free, LIFE, FINDS A WAY!!!'
Man is not meant to play God and be master of all.
    Dinosaurs and man DON'T MIX!

I would honestly watch an entire movie that’s set just a couple years before this movie and is just a typical day in the park. We follow a family on vacation dealing with family drama, a worker at the Starbucks trying to work up the nerve to ask out one of the girls who works with the baby dinosaurs, a security guy trying to track down an escaped compy, and the compy itself just wandering in and out of these stories and having a little adventure of its own.
No one dies or even gets in any way badly hurt. Maybe the compy nips someone but that’s it. It’s just a completely normal day. A romantic comedy.

I love it when movies have 1 color be consistent throughout the movie. This movie does that with blue (no pun intended), obviously, and for example Kong Skull Island does it with yellow.
