I'm working on my first ever granny square blanket. The blanket is patterned after multiple pride flags and I think the puff stitch border will be PERFECT 💜
Yes!!🙌🏾 This tutorial is right on time for me. I’m working on a linen stitch blanket and I will be using one of these borders for my blanket. Thanks Toni. ❤️🧶🐝
Just wanted to say thank you for all the work you put into these videos. I'm just learning how to crochet, and this is *by far* my favorite channel. I really appreciate how you explain this craft! Fan for life right here. :)
Loved the video! Do you have the link for the device you used for blocking? I think that’s what you all it? I’m still learning crochet terms. 😊 It looked like a small steamer.
It's amazing to watch you crochet! Even though I'm watching at normal speed, it looks like I'm watching on fast-forward! I would LOVE to be so fast! 😂😂😂😂😂
This video is coming out at the perfect time! I’m about to finish a sock scrap granny stripe blanket that I’ve been working on for three years! I’m not quite sure if I want a border, but I’m really, really happy about the inspo. Thank you!
Hi Toni!!🦋🦋🦋 I am currently crocheting a dragonfly blanket and I wanted to know which border do you think would be best and pretty. This blanket is for my daughter's 17th bday. I like border # 2 because it's simple and easy. I truly want to know what you think? I hope you see this and share your expertise with me. Thank you Toni!!🦋🦋🦋🦋
I have learned so much from you, but today's video showed me something I never knew. The invisible join, wow I really needed to know this for the project im on now. Thanks
Love Love Love!!! My mind is racing thinking about all the items I can use these for!!! Thank you Toni for once again sharing your expansive knowledge with us!!! I’m am so excited!!! Stay safe and be blessed ❤
I just finished connecting the 25 knitted squares for my Mississippi Afghan. It needed a border but I didn’t want something that was drastically different from the moss stitch edges of the individual squares. The braided border is absolutely perfect. It’s almost impossible to tell that it was added afterwards!!
Ahhhh Toni after each boarder you showed I loved it best lol. Ohhh heck I LOVE EM ALL❤. Have to admit I though the picot and the braided edge were going to be really difficult. I was pleasantly surprised. I can’t wait to try each and every one. I’m also patiently waiting to take a try at your Tunisian crochet. I was really afraid of trying that one. Just as your book was to be published I watched your video and was intrigued. I watched another today and I’m really hooked (lol😂). I’m in the middle of packing for a big move next week. I haven’t picked up my hooks for a couple mos so my fingers are itching to get back to creating. Thank you so much for all your tutorials and can’t wait to purchase your book❤❤gayle Hope your trip was positive 💜💜
I've used the braided (zigzag) edging before, but I think the puff stitch one would be great as a "border" with an extra edging after it (I mainly work granny cluster blankets for charity...slowly...and don't like them not having a border or edging)
Hello from India... I came across your video while looking for border ideas for my first granny square baby blanket ... Your video if very detailed and extremely easy to follow... Thank you so much..
Why basically tack down the gold color with the salmon color on that first edging? The loops should be free to be pretty. That slip stitch makes it look tacky IMHO. BTW , the corners of the fan border needs 2 or 3, maybe 4, more DCs to make it around the corner better - no blocking needed. Crowned picot wins my ❤!
This is SUCH a great resource video!! Thank you for sharing!! I do have a question, with the picot edging, how would you suggest attaching the granny squares together? would love to incorporate this into a cardigan I'll be making!
Thank you for making this lovely video, Toni! I used the crowned picot border for my “stained-glass window” blanket, and it turned out 🔥! It was the perfect bit of finish for the fancy pattern.
Hi, I just found you & I'm so happy that I did! You are the easiest teacher to understand that I've found 😊! I love these borders, especially the picot one. Gorgeous! I'm so excited to see what other videos that you have. Thank you for helping us understand a variety of stitches ❤️...
Amazing tutorial as usual ❤ I’m just finishing a large blanket for my daughter-in-law and I’m thinking I’ll do the pico border on it. Do you wash all of your blankets before using or gifting them?
Hi Toni. Traders. The borders are something I was looking for. Could you please do a Pineapple stitch border with Pineapple stitches in the corners, I can only find find borders with the Pineapple stitch on the sides. Have a Yarntastic beautiful day 🧶💖🐸
I have an odd question? What do you crochet with 100% wool yarn? I've been looking around and can't find anything to make? Got some at my local famers market its so pretty but also scratchy.
Wow Toni, they all look beautiful!! Thank you for sharing this tutorial with us. For sure i am gonna try to make these borders. I love youre videos. You gave good detailed instructions, thank you for that!💜💛
I loved your video. I usually use the fan "shell" border for my baby girl blankets. Thank you for giving me something a little fancy to add to my baby boy blankets. I think I may try out the puff border on my current project. You are awesome.
Thanks for showing these beginner crochet tips! I have been looking at trying some hobbies as a form of self-care! Diane in Denmark on some of her Friday videos called weekly planning self-care gives four self-care assignments/ideas that one can choose from for the week and in one of those videos she mentioned being creative. Also Mariane Cresp mentioned in her boost your mood video about creativity and I also watched Kennedy from the channel Cozy K, cozy hobbies to try videos. Your videos are amazing!
Thank you, I've been working on a Tunisian full stitch baby blanket for my sister-in-law and I've been trying to figure out what order I might want. I think I like the double Arch pattern because it looks like it would allow for more stretch in the blanket and be more forgiving.
Ahhh! I was working on a hot pad earlier this week and needed a simple border (it's for pulling a camp's worth of children's Sculpey projects out of the oven and handling them so I can put in more), and I wish I had waited and learned about the braided edge before trying to finish it! I might even go back and change that because it's just so nice! I'll also now be looking for an excuse to use the puff border!
I'm making fingerless gloves and needed a small trim stitch to designate the bottom of the glove. The slip stitch chain 1 border will be perfect. Thank you.
Lovely, just lovely! Great looking borders that are easy to do, thanks so much. Sometimes I have completed a project only to find that I didn't like the border in the pattern. Now have options to switch out the border for a better one!
Thank you for this great video. I'm always looking for border ideas and these are lovely. Thank you also for taking about the invisible join for the fan or shell edging.
Hey Toni, thanks so much for this they all look great. Just wondering do you think you could do a JAYG method or continuous join method with the crowns whereby you interloop the chains of one side through the pico chain of the other?? not sure if it would look any good or hold up over time, or would you lose the definition of the pico crowns???? just thought it might be cute??
These are all beautiful. Im going to be doing an afghan for a friend, anf I think the puff border and the braid borders will work beautifully for this one. But my personal favorite id the criwn border!
I would like to know what Tunisian hooks do u recommend, I'm just getting started and don't want to waste my money on something I don't need . I have been crocheting most of my life and I want to start Tunisian crocheting now. I love all your videos . Thank you for making them so easy to understand.
I love watching your videos, you make it so understandable, I'm having a hard time learning to read a pattern, can you do a video on a small project showing how to read the pattern please
Toni's steamer seems to purr with pleasure :) Love these borders! I think I am going to use the twisting border on a plain lapghan I made a year or so ago.
The Braided Border and the Picot Crowns are definitely my favorites, oh my gosh the princess vibes are real with these! Love love love, thanks again for a fantastic video Tony, you are a pleasure and a joy as always! Cheers and much love
I just bought my first tuscan hook set!!!! I've never had a set and I'm excited!!! You inspired me at 55 after crocheting for 45 years to tackle this!!!! You inspire people in a very unique way!!!
Hey I am not sure where to look and all your videos are easy to follow I would say I am still a beginner to crochet and I have come across a free Patten and there is no video to show what they mean when they say to dc in UK terms on underside of a sleeve I am happy to send you the Patten it is in UK terms
I am putting the braided border on a blanket that I am finishing now. It's so beautiful and so easy! Thank you for showing my new go to border! You're awesome!
I'm working on my first ever granny square blanket. The blanket is patterned after multiple pride flags and I think the puff stitch border will be PERFECT 💜
That's such a cool idea with the flags!
Yes!!🙌🏾 This tutorial is right on time for me. I’m working on a linen stitch blanket and I will be using one of these borders for my blanket. Thanks Toni. ❤️🧶🐝
Me too. I am thinking the puff stitch will really set it off.

It looked like a small steamer.
Your timing is amazing! I was just looking for an exciting border for a baby blanket. Thank you! 💖
It's amazing to watch you crochet! Even though I'm watching at normal speed, it looks like I'm watching on fast-forward! I would LOVE to be so fast! 😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you for these simple borders
This video is coming out at the perfect time! I’m about to finish a sock scrap granny stripe blanket that I’ve been working on for three years! I’m not quite sure if I want a border, but I’m really, really happy about the inspo. Thank you!
I bought a whole book of borders...it may have been recommended by you. They're so fun. I need more projects that need borders.

Really nice borders, none of them complicated.❤
Your videos are superb. You are an amazing woman! Such talent and personality. Thank you!
So excited 😆
I love these so much. I am gonna make my granddaughter another special blanket with the crown border. She will love it.
Thank you so much for sharing these borders!! I love them all, but seriously, that crown border 👑😍😳😍👑❤️🔥❤️🔥💗💓💗💓💗
For the first border, how do the corners work? Loved these new options, thank you for another great video!
Thank you for the border tutorials. I’m always looking for an easy, fast border and you gave me several examples.🥰
I have learned so much from you, but today's video showed me something I never knew. The invisible join, wow I really needed to know this for the project im on now. Thanks

I like the crown and I am using it
On a child's afghan just found your channel and I love it
The braided edge is my fave for its simplicity. Probably will use it on the blanket I'm currently working on and I can definitely see it on garments.
These borders are AWESOME! Thank you Toni! Now I need a project to use each one of them on!
That crowned picot border is gorgeous I can't wait to use it
I just ordered yarn for 2 blankets for gifts- this is PERFECT!!
Can’t wait!!!❤❤❤
Saving for the next time I'm unable to decide how to border my next project. You're such an amazing teacher and resource. Love your videos!
I could do boarders all day with you. Your boarders elevate my crochet projects.
Love it!
Keep them coming.
Thank you for these, Toni. Love your work ❤
OMG I love that overlap. So freaking cool!

Great video! I love all the borders. What kind of steamer do you use for blocking?
Thank you, always looking for border ideas. Great tutorial.

They all look beautiful I love them all but I think those crowns are going to take the wind🎉🎉🎉

Nice borders but it is difficult to join them afterwards no ? Thanks 😊
Your video tutorials are so well explained and easy to follow! And beautiful ideas too 😊 thank you!
What yarn is this exactly?? The colors are absolutely gorgeous!
Beautiful borders! Thanks! ❤❤
What are you doing in the corners? I wish you had shown at least one full corner for the first border.
Making a one yrs little cotton cardigan right now, so this came just at the right time. ❤
The crown border would look awesome on cuffs and neckline of a wearable summer sweater.
I've learned so much from you! Thanks for all you share!
😀awesome. Congrats very clear and easy taught🎉
Amazing tutorial Lady 👍🏽🤎☺️
The Braided Border and the Picot Crowns are definitely my favorites, oh my gosh the princess vibes are real with these! Love love love, thanks again for a fantastic video Tony, you are a pleasure and a joy as always! Cheers and much love

Your tutorials are so easy to follow ! Thank you !!
OH! I'll be making all of these borders👍🏾! Thank you TL Yarns for sharing your Awesome Crowork 👌🏾!!
The way your hook just glides is sooooooo sexy. Just dances from stitch to stitch ! 💜
Merino wool will do that to you - it's such a joy to work with.
I always use fan stitch, but I love the puff stitch two
Can you use the zigzag stitch to join squares??
You want me to choose again, eh, not going to do it. Love them all
I just bought my first tuscan hook set!!!! I've never had a set and I'm excited!!! You inspired me at 55 after crocheting for 45 years to tackle this!!!! You inspire people in a very unique way!!!

Thank you for these ideas!❤
I am putting the braided border on a blanket that I am finishing now. It's so beautiful and so easy! Thank you for showing my new go to border! You're awesome!

Just on time, I use it to give more charm to a top I sewed. It's a cute little neck detail. Thank you, Toni! 💖
