      I like your custom builds, I like to make custom bikes myself. If you ever get some time to search on UA-cam like you probably do, you can check out my newest fatboy mountain conversion falcon flight my custom trike build 196cc bike. It's because of guy's like you, that inspires me to build my own. Thanks

    Dude, wish I had UA-cam, the internet (it was growing up like me at the time,) resources and passion like you do when I was your age. That said, happy to live life vicariously through you. You're wise beyond your years. 👊

  • @rosicroix777

    Great job ! Only question I have is what about front suspension? You can keep what you have and use the disk brakes if you make a leaf spring front end . Indian motorcycles used them all the way up til the 50’s as an option if you didn’t want the girder or telescopic front forks and about 20% of new buyers did it as they worked really well . Look at some pictures of them , you’d have to cut a leaf spring in half and weld to the fork , and add another thinner fork and pivot plates . Just a suggestion. Wishing you many years of safe and fun riding

    Dear Oliver. Thank you very much! As always, this is perfect, and yet you manage too improve yourself and the videos. My favorite moments are 1.32, 2.07 and 2.25. I have one wish, and I don't think it will actually fit in. Could you consider having a geust star/person? I am not thinking of myself nor your fine lady. Someone like a co-star perhaps?
    Again, and I simply do not tire of telling you, I love your work! I wish you health and keep it up.
    Sincerely,
    Alicia

    i have 208cc that i am planning on putting on a full suspension bike i have... i just don't know if the high compression 30lbft 208cc will work with a 6-1 gear reduction, planning to weld up a second gear so the thing has a 12-1 too 6-1 gearing on a 26'' tire. calculates at 3000rpm from the engine 6-1 would be 35mph and 12-1 would be 20mph... still seems too high of a gearing, i got hills to go over.

    • @OliverMotorized
      @OliverMotorized  6 років тому

      I think 12-1 with a 208cc may be to much reduction unless you are planning on just going off road up hills and other crazy stuff! otherwise 6-1 seems it would do the trick huh?

    • @ardennielsen3761
      @ardennielsen3761 6 років тому

      @@OliverMotorized i was not planning to type this much but, I was thinking of welding a gear... a 6 speed gear set too the stub of a pedal crank "small gear too the bike frame and larger gear to the outside"... one that has 16-34 tooth gears, as well as still having the same gear cassette on the back wheel in normal orientation of course. so the gearing would be 36speed "some gears would likely have the same ratio", the clutch is a 10 tooth... the gear i had made that bolts to one side of the pedal crank is 60 tooth "could be swapped for anything from 30-74 tooth" then first gear after calculations would be 12-1 and top gear would be a 3-1 rpm reduction... the 208 i have is a high compression engine but that is a lot of gears for an engine rated for 30lb-ft... 288lb of torque to the ground in first and 72lb of torque in top gear to the ground. i used this calculation to get the torque " (engine torque in lb-ft multiplied by the gearing) divided by the wheel radius in feet wrote as a decimal). i don't think the centrifugal clutch will like the 3-1 gearing.

    You can not lower the rear BUT you could have lowered the motor so you could drop the seat then raised the front to give it that custom rake look. But now even though it is cool it has that Honda trail 90 old person look. keep trying you will get it.
