Those were all great ideas . I really like the one for cutting out a pocket and then using that for exact positioning every time

Great timing. I am working on both of these issues because I am a newbie.

Parallel Raster pattern would be great for pocket clearance to do away with expanding square flattening pattern

I have a 4x4 Pro 5 machine. I see you using a 1/4" mill to flatten the waste board. For larger tables would suggest using a larger mill (3/4") or would you stick to the smaller mill?

For Shapeoko you should use our 1” McFly Cutter. shop.carbide3d.com/collections/cutters/products/mcflycutter?variant=39332570955837

There should be an option for rastering a pocket, especially when using a facing mill that should never be plunged in the center of pocket. Having said that, I just leveled my 48x48 yesterday by manually creating a rastering program for one 3x48 slat and running it 12 times, shifting 4" over each time.

Hey Nick, How about a video on your Carbide Create & Pro what all the features do with a visible of what they do. Also, importing STL files and how to make parts for it.

I see the previous episodes of The Support Show, but episode 6 is missing. Is there a reason for its absence?

Sadly, sometimes the technical glitches win.

So should I do this on my 4 xxl I just got recently ?

Yes, you definitely should level your wasteboard. The hybrid tables on the Shapeoko 4 / Pro / 5 Pro all benefit from this process.

Why don’t you go over updating your instructional pdf files? Since none of them are relevant or relatable for Shapeoko 5 Pro users… no guidance with BitRunnerV2 Deluxe, no guidance with BitSetter; yet they all say they’re plug and play with the 5 Pro. Should’ve just went with a longmill.
