Hi David! It's good to see you again 😊 Thanks for watching 😊 This is hard to say since I mainly work in Ontario and don't have much of a comparison. I would say it depends on what you're looking for and what factors are important to you. I do think Ontario since it has a greater population has more opportunities in comparison to the other provinces.
There will be no jobs for you without a Canadian experience if you don’t know someone in the industry. I know people actively looking/applying for years!! And yes, they have appropriate resume, portfolio, …
Hi Ashley.. great video as usual, can you make a video about the most software used in Canada I mean AutoCad Vs Revit, and how about 3DSMax and Lumion? thank you in advance
Hi Fatma, thank you 😊 appreciate the love and support. I have a video that breaks down the softwares you should know; ua-cam.com/video/WMIziVE2DRA/v-deo.html . I hope it helps.
Hello, Ashley! Thank you for the content! What do you think about certifications (like Autodesk, or CANBIM)? Is this valuable for architecture companies? Or you think a good portfolio is more important? I'm an architect in Brazil and I'll try to work as architectural designer or BIM modeler in Canada. Thank you!!
Hi Ashley thank you for this video... I want to know one thing.. Does M. arch is compulsory for doing internship or to become intern architect. I am international architect ... Can I start my internship directly on the basis of my previous international Architectural degree. But I am also pursing Architectural technician diploma program to know the basics of candian Architecture. Can I become an intern architect in Canada ?
This video assumes that you already have CACB certification. If you are an internationally trained architect, the first thing you should do is get certification from Canadian Architectural Certification Board. Otherwise, it's too hard to find a job. Not impossible, but it is too hard.
Hi Ridvan, thanks for watching. This video doesn't assume you have CACB cerification or that your a licensed architect. You don't need to be licensed to work in the industry. I have a video on this topic if you like to get more insight: cacb.ca/eligibility/ . It is important to have a strong portfolio when you are applying for jobs. Also, nothing is impossible if you meet the criteria you can get your education verified by the CACB. I encourage you to look into the eligibility for CACB cerification at the following link: cacb.ca/eligibility/ and I would also contact the Certification Coordinator at info@cacb.ca , they will be able to help you. I hope this helps.
Hello , at first thank you for all the information 🙏 i would ask you is it possible to work as interior designers for architect in canada ? Or just for people specialized in interior design . And another question what do you think about bim oppurtunities in canada?
Hi Rima, you're very welcome! Yes I know many interior designers that work within architecture practices with Architects so this is completely possible. BIM is currently in demand so there are many opportunities and I encourage everyone to have Revit knowledge when looking for employment.
Hi Ashley, I have completed my 2 year diploma in architectural technician from Ontario province. How I can get a beginner level job in same field. please advise.

Hi Arch Redwan! Unfortunately, I am not familiar with interior design programs, I would recommend doing research. I did find one program at the University of Manitoba which you might want to look into; umanitoba.ca/architecture/department-interior-design . I'd encourage you to continue looking for more programs.
