I really appreciate the fact that you are so honest and realistic about this subject and not pretentious at all. Your advices are very helpful for international students who are thinking about moving to Canada
Hi bro even im in Kuwait. I’m passionate about interior designing. Is it okay if we can talk about more of this field in Kuwait. I’m looking for advices. Please reply once you see this :)
Thank you so much dude for giving a reality check on the doubts that every newcomer faces. I have done masters in India and am struggling with job applications right now in Canada..it's been a year...i wanted to know what are the opportunities here in Canada for a sustainability analyst or green building consultant?
You won't like my answer, I have completed my green architecture course here, got a leed certification, and worked on a passive house project. But no luck getting into the sustainability field. I have to stick to BIM to sustain my self even if I am interested in design and sustainability. Canada is in its worst phase now, we can hope in a year or 2 it will be better.
Bro please do a video on masters in landscape architecture. All details, process and job opportunities in different countries. Hope u will read this comment and will do a video.
Also please do share your experience and learnings when you apply for PR and provide practical tips including the NOC code that one should be using if one is working as an intern Architect.
Great advice! Keep the good work going. Would doing an CACB accredited Master’s degree in Canada make a relative positive difference in getting a job and better salary?
I'm a certified architect with over 15 years of experience. I've been designing residential buildings in Poland and recently working on interior design and archviz. I have some experience working in the States from years back. Did some CAD (fusion360) design and 3D printing in my free time. Extensive AutoCAD skills and some BIM experience though not as much as I'd like. Good English skills (a couple of certificates), and a bit of french. Any chance for a job in Canada? :)
I think you have a good experience background to support you, I would suggest start applying, but again Canada is very saturated and the economy is low, so it might take a lot of time.
Brother archi can you make a short video on the demand of BIM MEP Engineer in canada as well as future scopes for Upcoming years. Would be a great help i am Planning for canada fall intake 2024 still confused which course should i opt for as an Mechanical Engineer
For masters yes Australia is much better as the fees is cheaper and the post graduate workpermit is the same as Canada, plus its easy to get admission there, the market is booming, we have free trade agreement and lastly they have better climate.
hey brother i have did civil engineering with low cgpa i have less experience i dont like working in feild as site engineer is good to learn BIM and if i move to canada what i would be called draftsman or civil engineer need your advice thanks mate im waiting for your answer.
im in architectural tecnician course rn, at algonquin and i am a little worried about securing a co op position, what can I do to make my journey easier?
Develop your resume and portfolio, Make connections with the professor as they will definitely have contacts and insights. Start sending a resume with keywords mentioned in the job description. In your portfolio, show some wood based structures.
Hi, I am a foreign Qualified Architect and looking to apply for an express entry. Can you kindly confirm if I only require an ECA from CACB or would also need to complete the CACB “Academic certification program” before I can apply for an express entry?
I’m currently learning interior architecture in srilanka I completed my foundation and first year can I transfer to start my second year in Canada f oh r 2025?
Sir please tell me which laptop is good for BIM I am in algonquin college and my class starting tomorrow so please tell me which is best as soon as possible. Thanks in advance😊
I have surfed through reddit and found out that Canadian companies are blacklisting particular colleges. Although, that is for silly courses like Project management, HR etc., What would you say is the best bet(course) for an Indian international Architecture student looking to change a career away from architecture? I see it to be very difficult considering colleges or universities ask for good grades with minimal backlogs. Should we stick to architecture and go for courses like BIM or masters? I don't see any other options honestly.
I would suggest that we should always stick to our fields of study as changing the filed is difficult and when you move to different country it really difficult, my suggestion to everyone is this, start in your own field support your self by your bachelors and masters and as you move ahead in life explore different options, because you will have good experience of the country and how things works here in few years.
@@ArchiVlogs. That sounds great, but what about students who want to explore other fields within architecture? I’m interested in moving to Canada for my master’s, but I’m having a hard time deciding which path to choose. As fellow mentioned above, architecture might be a challenging route since we all come from different backgrounds. I’m thinking about switching to landscape architecture or interior design. What are your thoughts?
What is you have a bachelor’s and master’s from a foreign country, will it make a huge difference with getting a good job and high salary after going through CACB
Hi Saransh. I'm your subscriber and I'm also an Architect. I also want to go n get registered Architect in Canada. So how can I contact you for further details and guidelines. Thank you.
hi, what about coming to canada (i already have a work visa) with architecture master degree (prooved by WES) is it easy to find a work ? what you suggest start searching when i still in my country or wait till i land to canada ? and wich the best city to start !
Best City - Toronto or Vancouver Yes you can but show your address as Canada or you wont get a call back, finding a job is difficult it takes atleast 3 to 4 months So start early.
I think I have mentioned the harsh parts, like winters, tough life, no personal relationships, and job struggles, but the work ethics and the overall pay for architects are descent, compared to India so I cant complain. obviously we can live luxuriously but at least here we can sustain ourselves.
Do you have any idea if INTERN architects get qualified for STEM category based draws (Architects are a part of that STEM category draw)? Thanks in advance.
Hello Bro. Have been watching you for long time. I wanted to know if there is any university that is offering Master's in BIM with fully funded scholarship.
I really appreciate the fact that you are so honest and realistic about this subject and not pretentious at all. Your advices are very helpful for international students who are thinking about moving to Canada

Done, will start working on a video for this
Also please do share your experience and learnings when you apply for PR and provide practical tips including the NOC code that one should be using if one is working as an intern Architect.
Interesting perspective, I will make one part for this.
Did you get to know what will be the NOC code for intern architect? Is it same as Architect?
No, no clear advice on this point yet
How much do you make?
What can an architect make in Canada?
You should be answering these questions, period.
Great advice! Keep the good work going. Would doing an CACB accredited Master’s degree in Canada make a relative positive difference in getting a job and better salary?
Yes, absolutely, masters is always more valued plus you dont have to wait 4 months and put 1900$ to get registered

The language barrier is the most important, then the exposure is another point, Italy is not growing extensively and diversity is low as well
Hi bro, under present scenario , is australia a better option than canada for architecture related post graduate courses ?
For masters yes Australia is much better as the fees is cheaper and the post graduate workpermit is the same as Canada, plus its easy to get admission there, the market is booming, we have free trade agreement and lastly they have better climate.

Yeah it’s weird and so little jobs.
What about doing Urban Design from sheridan?
It is 1 year certificate course..
Is it worth?
No brother
Its only worth it if you already have urban design experience or masters because urban design jobs are not offered to freshers
I have 5 years of experience in architecture and project management.
Shall I come for 1 year construction project management course?

Hello. I have some very direct doubts and feel can discuss with you personally. Please reply
Can indian civil engineering degree holder do job as an architect here?
Do you have any idea if INTERN architects get qualified for STEM category based draws (Architects are a part of that STEM category draw)? Thanks in advance.
Hello Bro. Have been watching you for long time. I wanted to know if there is any university that is offering Master's in BIM with fully funded scholarship.
I canada you won't get fully funded scholarships even 10% to 20 % scholarships are rare as the uni and colleges here are to extort money from us.
