Preach it brother! I've always maintained that superheroes are supposed to be the ideal cop: in any situation they make sure as many people get out alive with a minimum amount of violence. They are not supposed to be soldiers like a lot of people think they should be, in which case there are so many other ways than dressing in spandex to kill people as effectively and efficiently as possible. Which is really my biggest pet peeve with people who want superheroes to be hardened or casual killers: they want to have their cake and eat it to, in so far as they want all of the visual fluff and flair and set pieces and motifs but don't understand that only works because they're not trying to take the most efficient route to end people's lives, because if they did, things would be a lot less visually dynamic.
