She's a very stoic character who is at first angry that a chubby and untrained civilian was chosen to be the dragon warrior instead of a trained master. It didn't make sense and she had the impression that Po didn't take things seriously. All of her criticism is understandable because she puts rational thinking above personal feelings. She was wrong about Po, but she admitted her mistake and ended up becoming his closest friend. But even then she'll keep criticizing him when he's wrong or needs improvement. Thats why she's my favorite character.

That's one of the biggest issues in our society. As long as someone is nice, it doesn't matter if they're kind, but it doesn't matter if someone is kind if they're not nice, when it should be the other way around.

I think a better way to think of it as courtesies vs compassion. Courtesies are gestures and actions that society prioritizes. Compassion involves prioritizing people as individuals. Both can alligh but they won't always.

Fits with her story. As a child tigress grew up in a orphanage where the kids didn’t want to play with her, due to the fact she was a tiger and they thought she would harm them. Hence her never judging po but bringing up legitimate concerns for his safety.

From the thumbnail thought this was gonna be about how they were both adopted. Po was brought up in a loving household where he learned individuality while Tigress was constantly compared to the previous Tai Lung and became self loathing which spread to outward resentment
She was always judged as a child for what she could or couldn't do as well as what her instincts let her do. She hadnt had much support and perhaps she understood that seeing Po and made those points to educate. She is a leader of the furious five (though oddly enough, Po brought them together in an odd coincidence.
I call it being mature and tough acting. I'd rather be like Viper. Mature and kindhearted. There's never a good reason to joke or insult a kind and passionate person.

Not to be that guy, but Tigress was also one of the most disrespectful to Po at the same time. The day Po was chosen as the Dragon Warrior, Tigress told Po that she'd "get rid of him" by morning in a threatening manner. And judging by her body language, her facial expressions, and her choice of words I feel like she was almost compelled to actually do it. Really the only two characters that were supportive of Po was Oogway (for picking Po as Dragon Warrior) and Kai (for recognizing Po as the Dragon Warrior and seeing potential in him that he may be able to beat him)
That's because she's the voice we need but choose to ignore and that her reasoning is to help the Peace Village but it was Viper who didn't make him feel like a bummer
According to what i heard about kung fu, it has many styles named after animals. The furious 5 just so happen to all be animals that kung fu styles are named after. The most important distinction among them is, that most styles specialize in 1 or 2 aspects of martial arts. Tiger style focuses on strength and speed. Monkey style on unpredictability. Praying mantis on accuracy and speed. Crane on evasion and countering. Snake/Viper (translation dependent) on grappling techniques and also sometimes poison. While panda style isn't one I'm aware of, dragon style also exists, but it's sort of an exception from the above styles. It's an allrounder type. Not as good in anything as a specialized style, but better at just about everything else. I imagine Tigress's worries came partially because the dragon style, as an allrounder, might be very strong and versatile, but to train it, probably takes longer than any other. For my source material, read the "5 warriors" book series. I found the tiger style user from book 1 to be the character I find most impressive. I liked that character.
I think that Crane was also pretty compassionate with Po, there is the scene where he talks with Po and he is about to tell him that he shouldn’t be here but when he see that Po feel sad about this situation, he feel sympathy for and correct himself by saying that Po shouldn’t be in his room.
i think this is further supported in the 2nd one as well, as she was the only person who had took the time to understand po and what hes gone thru suffered and still dealing with. and when she confronts po about this in their arguement to then have a little scrap over it and then to hug him, further supports the fact that she ended up realising what it means to be in the furious five and has actually learned from po overtime her self the reason as to why he was picked as the dragon warrior in the 1st place being that he has a good heart far more than the rest of them. as a side note i think in this order of who would be in line for the dragon warrior after po would go like this; -tigress -viper -the pelican one (im sry idk his name anymore) -monkey -mantis. the reason being is for what i just said basing it on having the purest heart and the strongest intention to do good. in the 1st one, it would seem like viper would take 1st place but come to the 2nd and 3rd one, tigress takes the lead in this after po purely because she took the time to actually connect and understand po and realised thru po what it took to be the dragon warrior by learning thru po. viper is 2nd purely due to having the kindest heart after tigress and being the nicest out the group then the pelican guy for being the most chill and down to earth person with a bit of sincereity monkey because he does eventually come around to accept po and understand him enough and finally mantis because hes still rather bold as a character throughout and a bit cold to his friends at times and still doesnt really fully grasp the concept of it all yet.
I will say she was the most reasonable. That word specifically. Reasonable. She only talked down to him when she saw reason to. But I fully agree that viper was the kindest. She even tried to lift him up when everybody else tore him down. But then again I feel like it's because they have a similar past. Having so much potential but not being able to properly use it or at least at first.😅

From the thumbnail thought this was gonna be about how they were both adopted. Po was brought up in a loving household where he learned individuality while Tigress was constantly compared to the previous Tai Lung and became self loathing which spread to outward resentment

She was always judged as a child for what she could or couldn't do as well as what her instincts let her do. She hadnt had much support and perhaps she understood that seeing Po and made those points to educate. She is a leader of the furious five (though oddly enough, Po brought them together in an odd coincidence.
Meanwhile viper was kind to him from start to finish, as in from the 1st to second movie she was extremely kind to him.
And then there's the snake which is polite and always says good things to him

Fun fact: Tigress has never lost to Po. You can check it yourself (maybe the 4th movie she does but in the first 3 she beats him every time)

Not to be that guy, but Tigress was also one of the most disrespectful to Po at the same time. The day Po was chosen as the Dragon Warrior, Tigress told Po that she'd "get rid of him" by morning in a threatening manner. And judging by her body language, her facial expressions, and her choice of words I feel like she was almost compelled to actually do it. Really the only two characters that were supportive of Po was Oogway (for picking Po as Dragon Warrior) and Kai (for recognizing Po as the Dragon Warrior and seeing potential in him that he may be able to beat him)
I mean po can survive longer than anyone without food
That's because she's the voice we need but choose to ignore and that her reasoning is to help the Peace Village but it was Viper who didn't make him feel like a bummer

According to what i heard about kung fu, it has many styles named after animals. The furious 5 just so happen to all be animals that kung fu styles are named after. The most important distinction among them is, that most styles specialize in 1 or 2 aspects of martial arts.
Tiger style focuses on strength and speed.
Monkey style on unpredictability.
Praying mantis on accuracy and speed.
Crane on evasion and countering.
Snake/Viper (translation dependent) on grappling techniques and also sometimes poison.
While panda style isn't one I'm aware of, dragon style also exists, but it's sort of an exception from the above styles. It's an allrounder type. Not as good in anything as a specialized style, but better at just about everything else.
I imagine Tigress's worries came partially because the dragon style, as an allrounder, might be very strong and versatile, but to train it, probably takes longer than any other.
For my source material, read the "5 warriors" book series. I found the tiger style user from book 1 to be the character I find most impressive. I liked that character.
Nah Viper was the only one not to insult him, and apologized immediately after humiliating him int their "fight"

I think that Crane was also pretty compassionate with Po, there is the scene where he talks with Po and he is about to tell him that he shouldn’t be here but when he see that Po feel sad about this situation, he feel sympathy for and correct himself by saying that Po shouldn’t be in his room.
To be fair, that probably has more to do with her not having a penchant for humor, rather than any respect she had for Po.

i think this is further supported in the 2nd one as well, as she was the only person who had took the time to understand po and what hes gone thru suffered and still dealing with. and when she confronts po about this in their arguement to then have a little scrap over it and then to hug him, further supports the fact that she ended up realising what it means to be in the furious five and has actually learned from po overtime her self the reason as to why he was picked as the dragon warrior in the 1st place being that he has a good heart far more than the rest of them.
as a side note i think in this order of who would be in line for the dragon warrior after po would go like this;
-tigress
-viper
-the pelican one (im sry idk his name anymore)
-monkey
-mantis. the reason being is for what i just said basing it on having the purest heart and the strongest intention to do good. in the 1st one, it would seem like viper would take 1st place but come to the 2nd and 3rd one, tigress takes the lead in this after po purely because she took the time to actually connect and understand po and realised thru po what it took to be the dragon warrior by learning thru po. viper is 2nd purely due to having the kindest heart after tigress and being the nicest out the group then the pelican guy for being the most chill and down to earth person with a bit of sincereity monkey because he does eventually come around to accept po and understand him enough and finally mantis because hes still rather bold as a character throughout and a bit cold to his friends at times and still doesnt really fully grasp the concept of it all yet.

I will say she was the most reasonable. That word specifically. Reasonable. She only talked down to him when she saw reason to. But I fully agree that viper was the kindest. She even tried to lift him up when everybody else tore him down. But then again I feel like it's because they have a similar past. Having so much potential but not being able to properly use it or at least at first.😅
