This makes me wanna go back in time and give my past self a financial lecture on how spending 2500 gems on 5 legendary chests will become the most regretful and stupid financial decision you will ever make… But thanks for the nostalgia trip anyway mate!
I remember back in 2016 when my family were not doing so well financially and things hasn't been well for my parents.I remember when me and my mom go to a cheap restaurant for a meal with little money we had and my mom asked me to order first and i asked her "why didnt u order too?" and she replied "im not that hungry for now" and i just nod at her not understanding the situation and while i was waiting for the food to arrive i open up my old tablet like real old(cracked screen some black spot on the screen) and i open clash royale to collect some crown and open a crown chest i cant forget the joy and happiness at that time when i got my first ever legendary which is an ice wizard where non of my friends has it.I was so happy when i got it and try to explain on how happy i feel for getting that card and how much it meant for me and in respond she smiles and hugs me and i saw her having a teary eyes. At that point i was too young to understand on why she reacted like that but as i grew older this particular moment grew on me more things are so rough back then but getting that legendary card cheers and lifts the mood up for both of us. And everytime i look at the ice wizard that moment instantly pops out in my head thats how special legendary back then
I still remember getting a lava hound from a daily wood chest like 4 days after they came out. Carried me for like 3 arenas since nobody had any idea how to deal with it yet.
@@slliwa if you don't buy pass royale , offers etc. your match making will be with someone who uses exactly uses deck which can counter you easily Before you can upgrade cards easily buy know you have to wait fucking 1 year to max out deck
@@Wakeup-ff2qsupgrading cards is as easy as ever, with a lot of challenges you can get tokens to trade with your clan members, you can do clan wars, you can buy cards from shop for gold, you get a lot of free wild cards even from free pass, you just need to play, and gold isn't a problem like before. i have around 1m gold and lvl 12 cards on average with lvl 14 log and goblin barrel in deck (log bait). and these p2w players most of the time don't even know how to use their cards and you can win almost all of the time if you don't choke
My first legendary was a Sparky, from a legendary in chest in 2016 I might add. My first natural legendary was an ice wizard from either a wooden or silver chest. As special as those events were, I 100 percent prefer cards being easy to obtain because parity is more important for the health of the game.
I played Clash Royale since release. My first legendary card was the Miner, but I always loved the Princess. I grinded to Legendary Arena just so Legendary cards could appear in my shop. Every single day, first thing in the morning, I would check if the Princess was in the shop, I still remember my disappointment every time she's not on sale. I waited for weeks and the day finally came that she showed up in the shop. I was really happy and even told my parents even though they have no idea what I'm talking about. Good old days. Now, Princess just gets crushed by a log.
@Extant Fellow Great points, and Princess seems replaceable most of the time now, but I suppose no other troop can shoot the tower from across the bridge so that's that.
Another factor I want to mention is the addition of the glowing card that advertises you when there's a legendary in the chest. Even if it didn't devaluate Legendaries, after that update they just completely stopped feeling that "magical" to obtain as they were.
i dont think it "ruins" the surprise at all... instead of being surprised at the card you get surprised at the glow the same amount, and the glow builds anticipation as to what you get as opposed to just hitting you with the card
Got an ice wizard from a silver chest and my first legendary was the Sparky (the worst it could have been 😅) from a golden chest. I sat in a library with a friend and oh my god I was about to scream the obtaining of my first legendary into the whole library 😅 That were good times
What a great video. As an OG Clash Royale player, it is sad to see how much this game changed throughout time, but life boils down to changes and different stages, so we must me happy to have lived this magic era of videogames❤
I remember back in middle school, everyone was playing CR, and I was so mad and jealous because all my friends were getting their first legendaries of either princess or ice wizard while I still got nothing. I even got desperate that I spent money on gems to buy a super magical chest, and STILL didn't get one, I raged so hard. Legit the day the update for the miner and sparky was released, I got the miner from a free chest. I remember screaming for like an hour in school and everyone staring at me. Definitely the highlight of my CR life
My first legendary was Ice Wiz in like May 2016. Even in late 2016 it was exciting getting a legendary. I remember getting the Electro Wizard the day it came out from a crown chest.
My sister was introducing me to the game and she was talking to me about legendaries. Yeah I got one right in front of her. She screamed that she had been playing for months and got nothing yet I got one on day 2!
Hearing that story is honest just sad. You as a child were baited into spending money on a game because of gambling addiction mechanics and predatory tactics
I remeber getting inferno dragon from a silver chest and it felt like a dream. I sent the screenshot to my friends and they thought it was a google image because of how impossible it seemed back then.
One thing you also didn’t mention is the fact that some of the legendary card’s special abilities were later shared with similar cards of lower rarities eg: the electro wizard’s stun attack later given to the electro dragon, and the ram rider’s “double attack method” later given to goblin giant. Also you briefly hinted at the fact battle healer should’ve been a legendary since that card has a unique ability, and I think the same could be said for electro giant.
Battle healer literally has 3 abilities now 😭 she has spawn healing, healing per attack and passive healing while walking, she legit is more legendary then 90% of legendary but shes a rare card
@@floor238battle healer is a beast😂 I’m glad I got her maxed at 15 a couple weeks ago cause she’s great and underrated. She definitely deserves legendary status but I’m not complaining at all. People don’t really max her out anyway unless they have golem & e golem maxed usually with the e dragon
Honestly, I’ve played a lot of mobile games, and it’s nice to see a developer actually make things easier as time goes on instead of harder. You would be amazed how many slowly make things harder and harder to do/get or cost a little more or whatever. It’s rare to see things get easier to obtain
@reality8793nah east Asian dev something can be like this, cookie run kingdom while event and freebies is getting frequent, the fact that they keep adding more cookies especially legend and ancient rarity, is getting longer and longer to get them if you didn't get lucky, and uh my guilty pleasure vanguard zero stuff when playable, to pay to win fast, like the community quit in drove because they can't keep up with all the new cards is getting harder harder to get while also getting stronger
Yea it’s almost like it’s the whole FUCKING point of a deck builder game lmao. If they wanted balance they should’ve just added a completely secondary “ranked” game mode where all cards are unlocked and max level for the wannabe pros and then leave the core “deck builder” game in tact cuz that shit used to be so much fun.
I remember I had almost every card except the log and e wiz back in 2016-17, and was in legendary arena which was arena 12 at the time. Coming back to the game in 2023 I see legendary arena has been moved 11 arenas up and now almost everyone has every card 💀
I thought I’d say that chest keys also may have played a part. I can say from experience that having to wait a day for a chest was a good thing - just imagine the excitement when you get the chest and then you have to wait until after school the next day to get the princess you couldn’t get irl
Lmao I got a Super Magical Chest back when those existed, and I had to wait from one day after school to the next day after school to open it (I think it was guaranteed legendary?) Everyone at the back of my school bus was leaning over to see what I got, which was an Ice Wizard (my first legendary lmao)
I remember a friend of mine getting super excited at school for getting Graveyard and some classmates were cheering for him while others were jealous. It was like seeing Goku turn super saiyan for the first time. Nowadays it's so natural that nobody cares😂
@@FilthyFrankenjoyer True, but if we look at it, the game's nature is meant to be competitive skill based and not some EA type pay to win crap. But I too remember the time when I had like 2 legendaries and my friend who played all day had none. It was kinda like a flex of superiority
I'm halfway through the vid, just want to leave a comment saying that I appreciate the work you put into this video to make it extremely informative but also entertaining. early congrats on 10k, hope you keep growing man.
1 year later and this video is still relevant. I have the 7-year medal in Clash Royale as I registered for the beta. It's good to see how the game has evolved. I only ever bought Pass Royales; I never bought gems to speed up my progress, just like my friends. We are from South America, and this is not really an option here. But I always felt I had a chance to compete truly based on my abilities. Now, with evolutions that can only be obtained with money, the game has lost a bit of the "pay to progress quickly, but if you don't have skills, you will still lose" feeling. Nostalgia is both a bad and a good feeling; things will never be like they used to be, so now those good memories only exist in our minds. Thanks, Clash Royale, for making history as you did and still do for many people.
I was actually frustrated on never getting a legendary back in 2016, until 2017 after a whole year of almost 2 hours a day put into that game, my first legendary being The Log. And I was super excited.
Opening a chest and getting an epic as your second to last was so exciting. Knowing that you would almost definitely be getting a legendary was almost more exciting than actually seeing the animation
I remember being in 4th grade on vacation and freaking out over getting the lava hound as my first legendary. I’ll always remember the excitement I had over that feeling of getting a legendary after grinding clan chests.
@@rogercampos726 Yeah In grade 3 me and my brother both opened a wooden chest and got princess it was insane luck I we were jumping in the air crazy. I don't play the game anymore and I'm in grade 8 time flies
I've recently been watching your videos and other clash royale content despite not having played this game in years, and it makes me wanna come back to it. Other than that great video !
this video gave me an absurd level of nostalgia, when I was just starting to play I was still in elementary school, and it would be a dream to be able to go back to it, no worries, no kind of stress, the only thing I had to think about was multiplication and divisions, and when I came home, I turned on my little tablet and started playing clash royale, the last memory of that tablet was when I found a legendary one, and from the euphoria I fell by breaking it ... how much I miss all that
Admittedly my first legendary was from a legendary chest I bought in the shop ($5 in middle school felt like a lot), but the joy I felt getting my second one, Graveyard from a free chest, was unforgettable.
I remember when I got my first legendary, Ice Wizard. I got it in late 2016. The SCREAM I SCRAM made even my mom empathise with my happiness. Unfortunately, it was only for my second account, which I hardly used, but STILL! I remember for my main account, I was simply extremely unlucky. My clanmates all had legendaries, but I couldn't even get ONE! And I was basically as high as them on the ladder. Gone are the days of excitement, but I'm grateful and don't find this much of a problem. Even if now, I got the champions rather easily.
At around 2016 to 2017 I lost a friend because he was the only one in the group who had a legendary(the lava hound) and he decided to go hang out with the cool legendary card kids. These things were insane back then.
For real getting a legendary was so special. I remember back in middle school my friends and I all having different legendaries and building decks and play styles around them. Just having fun. Thanks for the awesome video!
i can definitely relate with the building decks around legendaries, my friends had nearly all the legendaries at the time while every single one I rolled was an inferno dragon (i had a level 3 inferno dragon) so all of my decks incorporated it in some way
as someone who only really uses lumberjack this video was very informative, i think i came back into the game after the beta when hog mountain was the last arena, and only recently re re joined last year, it was indeed shocking to see how easier these cards were to get.
Fr same i also played in that era and started recently again . Hog mountain was hard to get to in that time i was always stuck in jungle arena at that time but the new level system is bit stupid because it was so hard to upgrade cards so much more time spent on those cards and we did not even get refunded in a way spent so much time to level up a card and now it is fast to upgrade cards
6:56 i feel like it was less pay to win back in the early days because in general cards were hard to get and there were only a few people who would spend thousands of dollars to max out their account. Now days due to pass royale and good deals, a huge portion of the player base is level 14. It just feels like previously you would rarely play with someone who absolutely demolishs you with their card levels. Btw thank you for making these high quality videos!
basically, pass royale, while cheap, gives a massive boost to progression, and players who dont buy pass royale will have a much harder time facing against these playes
@@shlimey04 to have a playable deck, you need to grind for each card to level 14. Its not like you can beat other people when you have one maxed out card. You cannot have under leveled cards because you will lose basic interactions which leads to you overcommiting, eventually losing the game. Also, when the card you spent days grinding on gets nerfed to the point that it is unusable, you are basically hopeless(my cannon😭). This is why i only watch clash royal but stoped playing it.
Nah man as a old time player who has played this game since feburary 2016, it is way less pay 2 win than it ever was, the mastery rewards is insane and there is tons of players these days that are free to play that can max a card for a couple of months, meanwhile it could take 2 whole years as a free to play to max a single card back in like 2016-2018. It is way more free to play friendly now than it ever was in its history thanks to masteries and tons of new chests added. You also dont need to spend much cash on thousands of gems enymore, so If you decide to pay something in the game you will get way more value than in early 2016 when magical chests was the best chest…
They also added way more options of getting more gold, before it would take me forever to max one card because I just didn’t get enough gold to max, but now thanks to gold chests and masteries it can take about just a week to max a level 14 card.
Honestly you are an amazing UA-camr and definitely deserve more recognition. Every video seems to have your heart and soul poured into it. Also, love the Hollow Knight background music!
I still remember unlocking lumberjack like it was yesterday. 2016, me and my friends all just got out of class. My super magical chest finally unlocked after a painful 24 hours. As I opened it with all 7 of us huddled around my iPhone 6 the suspense only built up till we got to that 8th item. When we saw that it was the lumberjack it felt like winning the lottery and celebrated like a bunch of idiots lmao.
Same with me,my first two legendary cards was lumberjack, and i played giant 3 musk at the time i upgraded him, also the legendary trophys, the game was simple and realy good
I remember literally being so excited getting a magical or super magical chest and then going to sleep anticipating opening the chest. Oh man those days, 2016-2017
Progression made easier, more players are maxing out, so when you are near max out, legendaries doesn't matter. FYI Champions took legendaries place, but when they are maxed too, people will forget them too. Its just when you were new player, getting legendary was awesome. That time even epic seemed awesome, prince as first epic was everyone's dream.
Man this video took me back. I think past me would not have minded legendaries being more common. The reason why I quit playing clash is because I found myself consistently being matched against players with town halls (castles?) two levels above mine. Seeing my princesses/minions die to a zap and enemy princesses surviving logs was a wake up call for me that I had reached skill heights but hit a paywall ceiling. My first legendary was hype for sure, but it was easily overshadowed by a crushing reality check that unless I coughed up money, I'd have to spend lifetimes getting to higher mmrs. Props to supercell for "fixing" it, but I still despise that pay to win model being implemented in the first place
@@kadersossah4486 it's literally harder than before. I'm 12lvl and I'm always facing 13/14lvl with overleveled cards. It's just exhausting at this point
@@hehehehaw8346 the problem now is that people will max out there cards at the arena supercell locked them at. Hence why at arena 11-13 there are smurfs who essentially linger on the same arena on purpose
I hate the update that changed the standard levels for cards. I remember the standard was crown tower level 9 and your commons were expected to be level 1, rares 7, epics 4 & legendaries 1. Now some rarities don’t even start at level 1 and I hate it and think it’s weird
I feel like everything this man is describing is a good thing. Because it made the game more f2p friendly and allowed regular people to get these legendary cards.
very very early the game wasnt pay to win, he even described, youd have to spend thousands, noone did that, legendaries were just really rare later on there was a time when it was easy to pay to win, and i feel like as a response, they made it really easy to level up so everyone can get up to par
I’m still never going to forget how special I thought I was in the early days of clash when I pulled lava hound and miner back in the day. I also remember the pure adrenaline when I beat the fisherman draft challenge and got to unlock him early
I think this is a good change The game now relies less on the dopamine of “you might get a legendary” to keep its players playing. Since cards are easier to get its relatively easy to max out a deck as a free to play. What this means is that the game becomes less of a collector simulator, and turns more into the game it wants to be Just like brawl stars removing boxes Also, i’m totally biassed because my first legendary was a lava hound and then i didn’t get another legendary for half a year
I remember when i first started playing clash royale in 2017 and it was the lavahound in a silver chest, literal happiness were filling me it felt special it had the presence it had this feeling of "you finally got a legendary" the way you earned it felt special knowing how hard and rare it was Now adays it's easier for anyone to get it and to level up
I understand missing how rare they were, but with the increased number of legendaries and introduction of champions, I'm fine with how much more common they see now. I'm a mostly f2p player and trying to switch decks on that model feels next to impossible at a certain point because so many cars need to be at or near max level to be viable, and that can take months to years if you're not buying gems, gold, or chests. Making the game more accessible to f2p and casual players is better in the long run imo
@@spicerowna he’s right. Having a card in the meta (that mind you is almost always a good/op card cuz of supercells favoritism towards legendarys) that’s unobtainable is just really bad for the game overall. If you want something that feels rare to get add troop skins or something
I will never forget the feeling when I got the Ice Wizard from a free chest in early July of 2016. Truly magical, and that feeling alone associated with the card made it my favorite legendary ever since. I miss that feeling a lot, and it saddens me in a weird nostalgic way that I will never feel it again. Thank you for a very well made video. Definitely worth a sub
@@jbn.1234 tbh I really don't think they are that greedy, sure some of the stuff is a bit pay to win, but it's not to the point where you cannot play or enjoy the game without paying
@@jammaschan The problem is how difficult it is to have a level 15 deck without paying, and how they hide all new evolutions behind the paywall of the pass or shop offers
Oh man this takes me back to my HS days. Back then I had the most ice wizards compared to my friends, so they always watched me to see how cool he was. And then I remember when Sparky came out, my friend got her and I remember thinking how cool and OP she was because she could basically explode ground troops in 1 hit. What good times that was. I was so innocent back then and not a toxic, cynical player lmfao
I've been binge watching a couple of your videos and I used to play a lot back in 2016-2020, but since left the game alone for the most part, occasionally logging in to see a big new change. I played two games, got 5 crowns and opened one of the season pass chests and got a graveyard, and just like you say, I felt literally, nothing.
I remember my first legendary, clan chest had just been added, and I joined as it became available, and I got the electro wizard and did nothing to earn it, it pissed off one of the other students in the clan which made it all the better
love your style of edtiting, explaining and commenting on all the different aspects that lead to legendaries being the way they are right now, keep it up!
When I first started playing, back when the legendary arena was the highest (9) and everyone was using 2.6, getting a legendary felt special. I still remembering getting my first log and feeling so happy. After a few years, I decided to give the game a try once more. I also instantly pushed a fresh account to the copper league with all legendary cards in like 2-3 weeks. Getting legendaries never felt special again.
Rares becoming harder to max than legendaries also devalued them ,making rares easier to get and adding more common cards would definitely restore some value
How does this man not have 200K+ subscribers…AT LEAST! I look forward to all future videos! Don’t worry about what we want to see, focus on what you want to share! I love the format in how you showcase this history!
I played this game in 2016-2019 when I was 6 and 9 and I once pulled sparky out of those free brown chests in the top left of your screen that you got every day
As an F2P, the negative connotation of Legendaries dropping in value has the opposite effect on me, I’m grateful they’re so much more common in modern Clash Royale.
Champions have replaced the old legendary. IMO they should make Champions have a new roll mechanic. Champion drop chance is doubled. If you don’t have a type of champion, there’s a 50% chance it drops a new type, and a 50% chance to drop one you have. If it drops one you have, it has a 100% chance to drop champion at lvl 11 with no extra cards in the stack. If you have 2 of each champion that you own, then it has a 50% chance to drop for the highest stack champion. Otherwise, it drops a random champion you own. This essentially doubles the champion drop rates and gives you a 50% chance of getting a new champion and a 25%-50% chance of getting a champion desired for upgrade. This makes champion dropping more fun since you won’t have to always use a book of books on level 13 and have a quicker time getting lvl 12 and new ones.
You are so good, I usually can't watch a video that is more longer than 5 minutes, but your video was so well done, and not boring, that i enjoyed every single second . Amazing content🔥🔥 for 10k subscribers, you deserve more.
I would never forget my first legendary card. I was in highscool stealing wifi from the computer lab during lunch break. The wifi was bad and it was lagging, but i had finally opened my first legendary chest. My first legendary was Princess and i could never forget how it felt and all my friends were going crazy at me getting my first legendary out of our group
Some Legendary cards are so confusing. Like you said, Night Witch is no better than the Witch (a epic card), but it got the higher rarity. Cannon Cart can go from a troop card to a building which is quite unique, meanwhile Sparky, a Legendary, does so little with is status that I wonder what is its uniqueness.
The nightwhich is still an issue in this game, however, she is still pretty uniqze because she is the onliest card to spawn "Fly troops" which makes the night which special and that is how the night which as a legendary is about. But i miss her old strong form. Infact, now the normal which has no more the deathspawn ability anymore , so if the nightwhich gets the deathspawn back again, she would be defenetly legendary. But look at the healer. I still cant understand how this card is not a legendary card.
I got my first legendary (miner) in 2017, and I remember how exited I was. The other say I got an Ice Wiz out of a crown chest and was like “oh cool” its kinda sad how common they’ve become.
I started playing in February of this year and I got a mega knight out of a silver chest in arena 7 and my friend was shocked and I didn’t understand why, now it makes sense why lmao
For me its the change of the legendary card reveal animation when getting them out of a chest. I preferred the old jingle music it made and the no-hints straight up flashing open when you least expected them in such a legendary way they used to appear. I don't mind having alot of them but i was really dissapointed when their reveal animation was changed
I remember the 1st Legendary that I got in Early 2017, and it was a Lumberjack, which after Months and MONTHS of Playing, it was the best feeling, and felt like I was on top of the world
I remember back then when one of my friends got an epic chest or similar. We would get together to see them open it. We all would watch and would go crazy celebrating when they got a legendary. Now we are older and even though the game has improved a lot since then, I miss those pay to win times😂
I remember getting one of my first legendaries (The ice mage) and sparking of joy, I created an almost invincible deck I used from Arena 4 to 8 (more or less) I feel nostalgic about that deck...until suddently a single card was able to destroy it entirely and suddently everyone gets it (The mega knight)
The fact we all got similar stories of incredible happiness when getting a legendary back in the day was is nice. I remember I got the princess from a free chest and a couple days after I got the ice wiz I was so happy and flexed on all my homeboys in the clan. Very nice times indeed
My first legendary was Log. I remember the complete disappointment I felt to get it. This was back when log was considered trash and a disappointment compared to other legendaries.
I remember the time I first played this game, and I lacked so much knowledge that I thought the Giant would attack other troops, and that the Royal Giant was his father. Oh, and I remember getting FREAKED TF OUT when I got the Giant Skeleton. But when I got my first legendary (from a Silver Chest mind you, I had already opened a Super Magical and like 3 Magical chests in total beforehand), The Log, oh boy the whole friend group erupted, I was the king for weeks... Ahhh, the old Clash times.... The... *Clashstalgia*

Back in 2016 when the game only had Princess and Ice wizard legendary cards, we had 2 bands in the 6th grade. Princess band, and ice wizard band. It was impossible to have both of them back in the day. I remember not pulling a single legendary, I loved Princess so much, until one day I got princess from that little wooden box you get for free, I really was happy, especially that I had insane luck with magical chests, I got over 12 magical chests in a month, and didn't get a legendary.

Another factor I want to mention is the addition of the glowing card that advertises you when there's a legendary in the chest. Even if it didn't devaluate Legendaries, after that update they just completely stopped feeling that "magical" to obtain as they were.
that and the spinning animation sucks
So so true! It removes the surprise factor and just spoils it. Same for the animation before revealing the card
And then boom, the card you got sucks in comparison to the other ones,so much surprise for nothing

I find it funny how Night Witch’s legendary status was questioned and justifiably so, but was also taking over the game when released on Summer 2017.
Yeah, I remember when it could take out a tower by itself on release.
It sucks now and only spawns one bat when she dies
One thing you also didn’t mention is the fact that some of the legendary card’s special abilities were later shared with similar cards of lower rarities eg: the electro wizard’s stun attack later given to the electro dragon, and the ram rider’s “double attack method” later given to goblin giant.
Also you briefly hinted at the fact battle healer should’ve been a legendary since that card has a unique ability, and I think the same could be said for electro giant.
I disagree about Electro Giant. While it is incredibly unique, it doesn't feel gimmicky enough. Battle Healer on the other hand 100% does
Battle healer literally has 3 abilities now 😭 she has spawn healing, healing per attack and passive healing while walking, she legit is more legendary then 90% of legendary but shes a rare card
FAXX! Another Game that does this is Idle Heroes
It's because they add new rarer rarities instead

@@shlimey04 to have a playable deck, you need to grind for each card to level 14. Its not like you can beat other people when you have one maxed out card.
I remember that, season 1 of pass royale
I think this is a good change
The game now relies less on the dopamine of “you might get a legendary” to keep its players playing. Since cards are easier to get its relatively easy to max out a deck as a free to play. What this means is that the game becomes less of a collector simulator, and turns more into the game it wants to be
Just like brawl stars removing boxes

I understand missing how rare they were, but with the increased number of legendaries and introduction of champions, I'm fine with how much more common they see now. I'm a mostly f2p player and trying to switch decks on that model feels next to impossible at a certain point because so many cars need to be at or near max level to be viable, and that can take months to years if you're not buying gems, gold, or chests.

Sparky is unique because of the charged attack that can be interrupted.
And also at the time I think it was the highest damage per hit you could get
you know how op the card was when it came

He just predicted the Monk to be added.
(Yes this was uploaded before the reveal of the Monk)
💀💀💀 bro it’s from clash mini, that is where the monk came from
The fact I rememebr my first 3 legendarios and how I got them from 5 years ago shows how special they were
my first ever legendary was night witch, and i had no idea how to use it 💀. just kept spamming it at the bridge, which worked great back in 2017😎
I got my first legendary (miner) in 2017, and I remember how exited I was. The other say I got an Ice Wiz out of a crown chest and was like “oh cool” its kinda sad how common they’ve become.
Hah. I see what ya did there.
I started playing in February of this year and I got a mega knight out of a silver chest in arena 7 and my friend was shocked and I didn’t understand why, now it makes sense why lmao
Hey my legendary was miner too!
You sould like p2w if it's sad.
@@Rikka_V1 what
The way he moves from minecraft to hollow knight music is just *MAGNIFICENT*
YEEEES
I instantly noticed
You are so underrated. I love your video especially because there aren't any CR UA-camrs like you.
Back when the Laughing King had different friendly sounds besides "Heheheha". Until CR team decided to add Toxic Emotes. 😢
For me its the change of the legendary card reveal animation when getting them out of a chest. I preferred the old jingle music it made and the no-hints straight up flashing open when you least expected them in such a legendary way they used to appear. I don't mind having alot of them but i was really dissapointed when their reveal animation was changed
I remember the 1st Legendary that I got in Early 2017, and it was a Lumberjack, which after Months and MONTHS of Playing, it was the best feeling, and felt like I was on top of the world
12:05 That voice crack is crazy 😭 Great video tho :)
oh man...i remembered getting a princess from a free chest and a night witch in a clan chest back then
good old days
I remember back then when one of my friends got an epic chest or similar. We would get together to see them open it. We all would watch and would go crazy celebrating when they got a legendary. Now we are older and even though the game has improved a lot since then, I miss those pay to win times😂
I remember getting one of my first legendaries (The ice mage) and sparking of joy, I created an almost invincible deck I used from Arena 4 to 8 (more or less) I feel nostalgic about that deck...until suddently a single card was able to destroy it entirely and suddently everyone gets it (The mega knight)
What was in the invincible deck you used?
The fact we all got similar stories of incredible happiness when getting a legendary back in the day was is nice. I remember I got the princess from a free chest and a couple days after I got the ice wiz I was so happy and flexed on all my homeboys in the clan. Very nice times indeed
My first legendary was Log. I remember the complete disappointment I felt to get it. This was back when log was considered trash and a disappointment compared to other legendaries.
You have high effort content I love it and I see you hitting 100k very soon
Evolutions are the new Legendaries
The evolved princess can now shoot arrow spells from behind the king's tower to the opposite king's tower.
My first legendary was the lavahound. And in 2017 that was still very special, which is the event that made me use the lavahound even up till today.
Man deserves more viewers, this content is amazing and I hope to see more!

Now we see champions just like he we used to see legendary cards back in the day.
sincerely, I don't even see Champions in that way, every magic in the chest fade out with the updates
"What did you get from spending $22,000?"
I can tank 2 arrow hits instead of 1.
