    It's ironic how much hate Ana gets for being anti woman empowerment when she's literally teaching women to upgrade their lives through the ways that worked for her....she genuinely has our best interests at heart

    • @Briae
      @Briae 4 роки тому +167

      Exactly! Modern feminism-she still has her own successful brand, business, hobbies, and is very independent. She just wants a certain level for men. If a woman is improving herself, why can't men? She is not saying don't work, just date men who make your work optional.

      Yeah, you are right. I do not understand what is women empowerment anymore if the traditional things such as cleaning and cooking are excluded. My mother (one of the most elegant women I know) would wake up, do her hair and makeup and put on a beautiful lounge wear set and clean the house. I asked her when I was little (after seeing friends’ moms who most decidedly did NOT dress for housework) why she did this. She told me that personal appearance and manners should be something you do for yourself, to feel good for your own self esteem. The side effect of that was that my brother and I got to learn refinement as a normal way of life and I have thanked her profusely over the years for her example! Ladies, your children watch you most when you are behind closed doors and you are doing them a tremendous service by being an example and making manners and elegance a way of life for them. My mother grew up very poor and although I never met my grandmother, my mom always said her motto was that she may not have the best of everything but everything she had would be the best she could possibly make it. My mother and father worked their way up from humble beginnings and I think those lessons that were ingrained in my mother (and my father as well) had a lot to do with that. We are not tremendously wealthy by any means, but I can walk into higher society and be very confident thanks to the care my parents took to instill those manners in me!

    Although you may be “controversial” to people, which I can’t quite figure out why, I really want to thank you. I love my mother dearly, but when I was growing up she was going through her own issues with relationships and her career, and she didn’t take much time to teach me these essential lessons. I don’t use these videos to level up a man, I’ve already found one that I will spend my life with. We aren’t the elite class, but I know that learning to be more elegant will benefit my relationship and my life.

      @Xx Xx I respectfully disagree with you. A lot of mothers nowadays don't teach their daughters any of this stuff. Of course she's going to promote her masterclasses because this is her living and this is what she's trained in, to teach. I find her not pushy at all when she promotes them, not like some youtubers. What is this red flag you are concerned about? She doesn't hide the fact that she's promoting her classes and why should she? I find her you tube video's very helpful.

      Both my parents do about everything in this video and I just follow them. There's no need to generalize. Nowadays, children don't learn elegance etiquette (except for the basics i.e burping in public) and wonderful people like Anna provide these types of videos for free to people who want to live this way.
      And you, a person who uses such elementary terms ("idiot" and "crap"), probably need to watch more of her videos to be more affluent yourself.

    • @Catty19748

      Completely agree about girls not being taught this now.. I hear very well spoken young women swearing as their talking about something casually (they're not even angry!) They think they look good, or trendy must be insecurity or something. So I don't think parents teach these things to their kids anymore its quite evident when you're out and about. That's why people like Anna are a voice for reminding us of these things, despite enrolling in her classes or not that's besides the point.

    Since watching this video several months ago, I have completely stopped yelling to someone in a different room or part of the house or property or office and have instead walked over to that person to speak whatever I was going to say in person. I had even forgotten where I had learned to do it. And I honestly have been wondering where I did learn of from for a while now. Silly me, of course Anna taught me! When coronavirus calms down, I'd love to see a video on airplane etiquette. I was a flight attendant for two years. I can't even believe what I witnessed. Horror of horrors. Men and women (mostly women) with bare feet dangling off the arm rests into the aisle. I had to pass through the aisles to attend to customers and say, "Excuse me....your feet please." The messes people made - especially families with children. Crackers and pretzel crumbs everywhere. A full row completely demolished with no effort to clean up, no apology, no responsibility, no self-awareness. How many times did I have to tell people to please use earphones because they were watching a movie or listening to music and disturbing others? And don't get me started on the lavatories. And trust me, the bad behavior was not just in economy. It was all over the plane. First class also had its nightmare customers. Thanks, Anna. Love watching your videos.
