Another excellent tutorial. Especially with regard to the promotion of the magnificent danmarshall application for creating SVG texts in a simple and fast way!!! Thank you very much, my dear felow! A hug, from sunny Portugal!
Thank you for the kid-friendly tutorials, including the keyboard shortcuts! I'm a new Makerspace-type teacher in Ohio and am using your videos to see what's possible with Tinkercad and to troubleshoot Makerbot Replicator.
Hey brother, loving your videos!!! I have learned a whole lot about Tinkercad already, but there is one technique that I really want to learn and that is inlays. I found another video, but I just really couldn't follow what he was doing and your videos are so easy to understand!!! I was wondering if you could do one or did you already do one that I am missing? Thank you!!!
This is old and can be a ton better... but it was a project where I did it. ua-cam.com/video/HcXw3SsWAjY/v-deo.htmlsi=4AA9QExNEzP1B5J0 Not... if I had chose the import artwork it would have saved a step. I would watch it at 2x... Just to see how I did it. Not sure when I will get a new one up there.
I'm soaking up all of your tutorials! Very new but love this stuff! Great videos! I know TinkerCad is limited to an extent, but is there a way to chamfer or round the edges of the text font faces? All of my letters have sharp edges and would like a slightly softer look. I know about using a wedge to cut edges on certain shapes, but never attempted on fonts. Thanks again and keep it up!
Makes my day to hear that. The text options are limited but you can do this ua-cam.com/video/Cj_NokgCBgo/v-deo.html The power to chamfer complex shapes is not part of Tinkercad. There are some tricks, but Fusion 360 is a better choice if that is what you need.
Great Concept, but wish there was a way to make the back smooth, versus it looking like a bunch of flat objects glued together with all the spaces between each duplication. Does not print smooth.
That is a fair assessment. We are really making Tinkercad do something it is not built for though... Expensive programs have tools for that built in...
Always saving us a lot of time with your amazing videos, thank you!
Makes my day to hear that! Thanks @MagnoTubertine for the note. 💯👍

Glad I am able to help Reynaldo. Makes my day to have the lessons still be useful. If you ever have a request, feel free to reach out.
Great Idea, thanks
My pleasure Steve. Thank you for the note! 👍💯

Any of my new SVG tutorials show the SVG steps better. This is a quick one if you have not checked any out. ua-cam.com/video/otWa-bg8vUY/v-deo.html
Awesome!!! Thank you!!! I will have to go through your whole catalog...you definitely have a gift for teaching!!!
Not silly to ask.. there are 4700 videos up there... I need to make a new video about using the channel search tool. 💯👍
Great job 👏
Thank you! 😃

If you are willing to shoot me an email, hlmodtech gmail, I will show an experiment I just did with the technique.
Nice job as always! Was hoping our teams could pull off the wins on week 1 but we came up just a little short unfortunately
Thank you! OMG those were tough games. Who do you have next? We have the Commanders.
@@HLModTech We got the Texans so we both have games where we can redeem ourselves thankfully. Let's just hope we can do it this time!
Amen! I saw the Lions are actually favored for the first time in forever. Scares the bejezus out me.... Good luck!!!!
@@HLModTech You guys as well! Lions deserve to be favored they have a great team this year!
Thanks. Are you watching the game on prime tonight?
How to offset a custom text?? thanks in advance
This is my strategy for it. ua-cam.com/video/SXtTgqxpBLI/v-deo.html
This function in one shape ?
No. You have to do some tricks to make it work.
