Ya, I can't even imagine where we will be in another year. Can you imagine telling it to give you a specific object and being able to specify dimensions and all kind of other attributes?
Great video! I’ve been in a 3D print/ Design craze lately. Watching video after video and ran across your video. The AI tutorial was very informative. I appreciate you taking the time to do this. Also, I wasn’t sure if you knew this but Bambu has a keychain maker in the Maker Labs section that can turn your pictures in to an SVG file. Then it can be sent the printer.
If you happen to have fusion 360 commercial license they have new beta features that streamlines this process. They have a new AI image generator built into the software, only thing it is lacking compared to this method is the ability to select specific areas of the image to prompt, but other than that its the same process just native in the design software. It also has a new feature that will auto-generate a sketch directly from a canvas image. It's pretty sweet.

Another good video on the process. I lack some of the basics of the slicer and how you can use it to make a model right in the slicer, i.e things like adding a cylinder and oval to tie everything together or a negative shape, etc. Other things like when to use ironing and not use ironing and what ironing actually does for the print. Do you have any videos going through what each of the selections in the Bambu slicer does or do you have a reference for me to go find out these things fairly quickly?
@@RobSandstromDesigns yes of course I do! Check out the beginner tutorial, it is over and hour long and gets you up to speed. I would also check out the mesh Boolean video which teaches you about primitives in Bambu Studio. I hope that helps.

Awesome video. I tend to skip the smoothing and just rotate the print 180 (when applicable ) since I do like the texture the PEI sheet gives. Though, hard to do if you have height differences
I have not yet opened my P1S. How do you send data files to the printer? Is it like a regular printer where you use a cable like a USB? Is it simply putting a file onto a USB drive or SD card? No one ever includes this with the informational "how to"s. Maybe it's just trivial but to me I want to plan this execution properly. I am keenly interested in privacy as I have heard some things which frighten me. If I need to use a computer to feed the data, I'm not going to have that computer into the internet as an example. I understand the P1S comes with a camera which will build time-lapse videos which can be monitored from an app on a phone or a computer. But, once again, privacy concerns. Is it required to have the printer connected to the internet in order to use it or is it only for access to such apps? Do these apps send data to Bambu Lab before it reaches my smartphone? I have had sad experiences with Samsung appliances where they want to send ALL data to their servers before I can get access to it. That's a big problem for me. So I have disabled internet access to all of those devices and will simply do without those features. So I'm very interested in what I can do to limit privacy exposure while still being able to do fun and useful things.

I wouldn’t call it effortless but it is cool
I guess I was implying a lot less effort than making it from scratch. lol
I say please and thank you in my prompts as well. Just because no one can hear or see me, doesn't mean I can start being rude
Also, you’re letting the future AI overlords know that you are compliant and won’t be a problem 😂
@@goilo888 🤣
LOL
Love it. Please upload more videos about 3D print that use AI. 🎉🎉🎉 thank you.
Thank you! Will do! Be sure to subscribe to the channel!
tried this annnnnnnndddd said it cant create images this no longer works i fear
I have not experienced that. Have you looked at my Midjourney tutorial? It will get you much better results but it has a fee. Which is less than ChatGPT.
Super fine. I enjoy your video. But dall-e is no longer free. They dont allow New users to dall e-2...And dall e-3 is only available on chatgpt plus... But I guess, i just have to pay 😉. But thanks for the great video
Ya unfortunately they rules continue to change. I am crossing my fingers for a free solution that can do the job.
Chat GPT isn’t free to use. I can only generate a couple images a day
I also can’t edit the image once it is generated
You sound like the guy from ETA Prime. :)
Haha only wish that I had those subscribers! I appreciate the comment! Make sure you are subbed up. I have a lot in the works at the moment!
thx

I have the free the plan with DALL-E and it wont let me highlight sections and ask for corrections but it made what I wanted.
Good to know! I have had a paid GPT account for over a year. Its a business expense. I figured free accounts got all the features. Thanks for the comment!
