I wouldnt go that far. Collingwood are not great this year, they almost got done by Norf Melbourne 2 weeks ago. However Brad Scott has turned this club around.
They’ve had one bad game all year, Port. They’ve been consistent. The umpires ruined that game last week, watch the game again, Essendon’s effort and intensity is better than Geelong nearly all game.

Besides the usual, Skipper, Duzza, Calders. Really liked what I saw from Shiel, Jones is an outstanding arial threat, having Duursma on the wing is invaluable, and loving what I'm seeing from Caddy. Keep the kid in now for the year. It's going to be very very interesting to see how Parish, who will, slot back into the guts. Merrett, Durham and Caldwell absoluely killing it.
I knew Essendon were looking good when they drew with the Pies on Anzac Day.. This re-match was VERY important, they won convincingly and would be great to see them in the final.

Unfortunately we cannot be competitive enough with our existing and ongoing injuries which have been on the increase. I think we should focus on and build our squad by resting all those who are either carrying injuries or not performing to give others a chance an get some game time. Go Pies!

as a pies supporter, Essendon deserved to win this game and they should've won by 7 or 8 goals We just don't know how to put in a 4 quarter performance, we always put effort in one quarter and then expect that to be enough. We can't have that mentality in games against Geelong or Carlton otherwise we will lose by 10 plus goals in both games. I'm absolutely sick of always relying on coming back in the last quarter it's just not going to work anymore, Full credit to the Bombers they deserved to win this game so much more, only losing by 12 points is flattering and doesn't show that we played good at all. As much as I would love to see a bit of biff (like back in the 80s and 90s), the world has changed. You're simply not allowed to do that anymore and any player who does is going to spend a lengthy period out of the game. You can't punch people in the NRL anymore either. The only sport that really allows fights outside of play is ice hockey.
