- The Sig P365 XL. Inside the striker fire space, for years we've looked for the "Glock killer." The Sig 365 and 365 XL are the closest things I've seen to a Glock killer. And frankly I'd be willing to say they are indeed a better product, the variable at play is time. The Sig must withstand the test of time and reliability before it can officially earn that title. So something you didn’t notice I don’t blame you since you where going into it blind, that flat trigger breaks at exactly 90 degrees, it really helps you not pull the gun one way or another when squeezing off a shot, helps with accuracy for me
Interesting, good tip, makes sense
As an inexperienced shooter I feel the flat trigger makes me shoot low. The sig curved trigger cradles my finger pad and I'm most accurate with the standard p365 trigger.
Anyone else get that at first w/the flat?
I appreciate a review from a person that talks the way regular people do. I love this gun.

Best review of this firearm I’ve seen yet....and I’ve watched em all. I’m ordering mine in coyote.
Most small pistols, save a few, have the barrel mounted high on the frame contributing to pistol rise when fired. The XL is lower to the frame and that produces less pistol rise when fired.
No research...show up and shoot. I like that! We get the first impressions with you - NICE! I own 2 XL's. It's my EDC.
Just picked mine up yesterday and was impressed after the first 2 mags. After 100 rounds I was blown away. It could be my favorite carry size polymer gun ever, 100 more rounds going through it today.

Had any issues with yours?? Really on the fence with buying one but hard to trust something over my Glock 43 that has had thousands of flawless rounds through

It comes with a manual safety if you need or a conversation kit. It also has the safety lever on the inside that works great.
I also came to see if anyone mentioned this. There are various models, some NRA versions, Xray Sights, etc. But there is a specific model that is deemed P365XL-MS which you probably already guessed stands for "Manual Safety". I decided to purchase this version just because in the end I feel more comfortable having the option than not. Just wanted to eco this comment.
The extra commentary in the vids makes the video entertaining and at the same time giving a realistic gear review. I hope this channel grows

I rented the range 365 XL. After two shots I was ready to convert from S&W M&P Shield 380 EZ to the Sig. I have 400 rounds through the Sig and still no malfunction.
Does it eject the case towards your head?

@Eric W: The XL replaced my S&W M&P 9c and my M&P 380 EZ as my EDC. Wife EDC's her M&P 380 EZ.

Just bought my XL last week.....still in shipping to my FFL Dealer. I fired the XL at the range a friend has. Let me have it for about a week and I put 400rds through it. The more I shot it...the more rounds I wanted to put threw it before I purchased it. I ran Fed. 147gr HST/#2'S (Urban area)& Underwood Defender 90gr +P (For in the Woods).....no flaws or Hiccups. I Purchased 2 Vedder Holsters (Kydex) and 2 Versacarry Holsters (leather)...primarily THIS will be my daily CCW, and I also hike/RV/camp alot. So leather and Kydex was important due to weather. This Old man needs something small/light but good in the hand, with some horse power. I did buy the Holosun 507K Red Dot (Old man bifocals here) and Pinky Magazine Extender. The Pinky extender works great just sand the panel lips flush...FANTASTIC !! For deep woods I still carry my Glock40/10mm/200gr Buffalo Bore HC for Bear/Cougar/Crazy Moose though.

Glock's trigger safety is fine, (maybe even good, but I'm not a Glock owner), but I definitely prefer no safety, like a good 'ole revolver.

I love both the Sig P365 and Sig P365XL. They are my favorite 2 EDC. Glock 19 is next in line.

One addition that's nice is a Hogue grip, 12.99 or less. Just adds a little bit of meatiness to the grip, that makes a big difference.

Are those the msa sordin supreme pro x that he’s wearing ?? I’m looking for good ear pro I wanted the peltor 3s but I can’t find them anywhere and all the 5s have coms in them . But I’ve heard allot of complain about the sordins electronics and funny sounds and stuff ??

I love my XL with 507k dot. I have converted a few 43x guys.
Once it’s broke in it should even feel better trigger should. I know my x carry trigger felt lighter as it was broke in

1911 Syndicate - you can easily switch the mag release to the right side of P365XL. Instructions in the little manual that comes with it, videos to be found on UA-cam.
Been a 1911 guy for years. Carry a 938 when weather dictates t-shirts. So, I was missing the thumb safety as well - just something I got used to. Well, I had to put the safety in it. Also, I had to put on the Hoque grip to fill the paws. Easy process and completes it. I am still waiting on the Romeo Zero, like everybody else. Great review and you've gained another sub

Very erratic brass ejection on that XL...... starts at 6 o'clock landing on your head 01:39, then normal 3-4 o'clock, then 1-2 o'clock 10:53.

Thanks for the review. May I ask what kind of mic setup you are using? I’m looking into doing some shooting videos but worry about the sound of gunshot clipping the audio. Your voice sounds clear and loud, but the gunshot is muted, which is what I’m looking to do. Thx
Honestly man I have no clue, we're using a lav mic, but other than that, my guys run all the tech
@@1911syndicate Ok thanks anyway. I've been using a lav mic as well but the gunshot sound is clipping and creates static in the recording. But if I turn down the mic gain, then my voice is way too low.
There is a safety version, but do you really want one. I don't carry appendix so I feel ok without it.
I bought one this past weekend and I'm itching like a child on Christmas to pick it up!

Not sure if someone has touched on this or not in the comments but I picked up one the other day and I had the option to put a manual safety on the XL and you can actually buy the parts kit and do it at home if you really want the safety

I opted for the version with the manual safety because the place I went to had both at the same price. I don't have a lot of experience unholstering and reholstering firearms, but I am definitely no newb to handguns and my trigger discipline is good. I am very familiar with the 1911 platform, so I don't think the safety will bother me.
I debated on the 365xl and the Glock 48 for the longest time.

I like your concept, real estate and great guns. Real estate is a gold mine, along with owning some good stocks in the DOW Jones. Jake missed it again. The REASON that the P365XL shoots better than the P365 is the GRIP SWELL and the 0.6" longer barrel.
BEST Tactical Weapon Sights are TruGlo TFX Tritium Fiber Optic and the HOLOSUN 507 with TruGlo TFX Tall Supressor FIxed sights as backup. Standard X-ray sights are OK. Nothing Special. Just like Jake.
