I was staying in a friend's house one time. He was in the process of moving in and hadn't unpacked yet. The entire house was filled with hefty bags full of his stuff, strewn about everywhere. Everything was leaning on everything else. There was not one thing you could bump into without it falling over-and taking some other stuff with it. Every available surface was covered with a useless jumble of categories.
In the midst of this chaos I was meditating in the back bedroom when I heard my friend come in the side door. I heard him put his keys down in a particular spot, and then listened for 20 minutes while he turned the kitchen upside down making his lunch. After he ate, I heard him start to turn the rest of the place upside down looking for his keys, which he had lost track of in the meantime.
I could only take so much. I stood up, opened the bedroom door. I walked out and without a word went right to his keys, picked them up, and handed them to him. The look of speechless astonishment on his face was a sight to behold. He hadn't even realized I was in the house.

Ha! Michael that's awesome! It's a good point though, sometimes we need a friend who brings a little chaos into our lives and let's us stretch our Ni muscles, and sometimes that messy disaster of a friend is way better off with us in their life as well! This is all a good thing!

@@DavidBadurina Well as you might imagine there was more to the story. It begins with the first time I saw this guy out in public. My immediate, visceral reaction was "I hope I never have anything to do with that guy!" Later on I was formally introduced to him, and against my better judgement became, shall we say, entangled. We caused each other a great deal of trouble for nearly a decade.
A couple of years after the incident with the keys, I had moved into a new house at a time when he was knocking around like a pebble in a can. The new house I rented had an old shack in the back yard. It had been built in the 1930s out of scrap lumber and tin. There were no two boards in it that were the same shape or dimension. It was filled with decades worth of toxic dust. And he wanted to pay me $100 a month to squat in it. In the summer, in Tucson.
I reluctantly said, ok, and from then until the day he left (and a long bad time after as well if I recall) the mayhem just never stopped. I had borrowed a truck from a friend to aid in my move. It was a decrepit Datsun made of actual rusty metal, and I treated it gingerly lest I break it. My tenant repeatedly asked me if he could borrow the truck from me so he could drive some girl around. My reply was, look its not my truck. If you decide to use it and you break it that's on you. So don't fuck it up. So off he goes in the truck.
A couple of hours go by and I'm wondering where he is when I get a frantic phone call.
"I'm at the park and I lost the keys to the truck!" So I ride my bike up there (swearing all the way) to find him wringing his hands as the sun went down.
I don't remember what I said to him when I arrived. Probably nothing nice. I went directly up into the grass and started walking. Scanning, just letting my feet find a path. I went 3/4's of the way around the park before I found them. Laying in the grass. Imagine that.
I do remember what I said to him as I threw the keys at him.
      "Why can't you do that!"

That's a great example, we do tend to take in details that people often miss. We can be very attuned to the environment. Which often also leads to overload if we don't learn ways to regulate our mind.

    • @sarahberkner
      @sarahberkner Рік тому

Being attuned to patterns in the environment is Ni, but being able to find where someone put their keys because you noticed the keys or heard them set them down is Se. I'm an ESTJ which means Ni is supposedly my blindspot and it also annoys me that my boss has a messy office and forgets things occasionally so I don't understand how this was a good example.

The most annoying thing is when you’re the only person to notice something clearly wrong with someone when with a group of people. I can literally feel the tense vibrations hitting my body and can see it in the persons eyes. It makes me feel like a psychopath sometimes but then i realize i’m right most of the time so then it makes me think that most other people just really dont care about other peoples feelings

When I was 14, I had a close friend who I always stayed at his house. I started becoming so close with his family too. There was a particular scenario, where we went to a video store, to rent a movie for the night. It was just my friend, his mom and myself who went. When we arrived, His mom went to drop off a few movies at the front. I remember to this day, how I processed her interaction with a man at the front, who was working at that video store. It was an interaction that just rubbed me the wrong way. His moms interaction with this man was one that was very subtle. Over the next couple weeks, I didn't have the courage to say it to my friend, or his dad, but I had a hunch that his mom was having an affair. A few weeks after we rented a movie at that video store, it turned out his mom told my friends dad that she was having an affair.
What I don't understand to this day, is how subtle that exchange was between my friends mom and that employee at the video store. I remember analyzing the interactions for maybe 20 seconds, just staring and having a particular feeling. Anyways, that is one example you were talking about. I've had sooooo many in my life like that, this one just seemed to create the most impact for me.
As an INFJ that gut feeling, or intuition, has been wrong a number of times, but as I get older, it's been getting so strong. What gets exhausting, and because of the extroverted feeling, I tend to be even in other peoples heads too. Because of my work, I'm constantly around new people. Many times I will pick up on something from them, say, something they need, or a way they go about their task, and mention it to them, just before they need. This one is hard to explain, but I think other intuitive's can understand. I will often know things for them, before they know them.
If you read this comment, This is the first video I have seen of yours. I'm subscribed. Also, so blown away by both our interests and character traits. It's weird, but from one infj male to the other, I actually see myself in you. Our passion for martial arts, how you explain the world around you, we also have the same look in our eyes. Peace brother. Thank you so much for making this content. I'll be sure to support you in whatever way I can!

Hi John! First, thanks so much for stopping by and watching, I appreciate it! And thank you for sharing the story. I think as “in tune” INFJs we tend to be hyper aware (particularly in retrospect) about when intuition was really cranking and how it leads us to various conclusions as it surely did for you. I’ve had very similar situations and circumstances - often ones that involved friends where it would’ve been awkward to speak up, only to have a hunch confirmed later.
And I’m glad you find us to be so similar! I think INFJness and Martial Arts is a natural combination - it’s a very individual pursuit, but gives us that opportunity to help others, it’s a form of expression, and it’s the type of mindset that can really help those around us, so from an idealistic perspective, it’s a total winner!
Peace as well, my friend, don’t be a stranger please! Life’s too short to ignore human connection! Best to you and talk soon!

I want to thank you for sharing your experiences. I just found out about the Empath personality type the day before yesterday. I was, scanning UA-cam on my phone at 4 in the morning. I came upon (10 Signs You are an INFJ etc. “The Rarest Personality in The World). I was so blown away because they were addressing me. Most of the videos came across to me as if they were talking about some alien being which they really didn’t have first-hand knowledge of. I decided to quit watching videos and process the new knowledge.
I have lived for 66 years and could never figure out why I was so different from everyone else yet everyone seemed attracted to me. Total strangers open up to me and discuss intimate details about their lives like I was their best friend. I have always felt like a magnet to people in need, but when people are hurting whether it be emotionally or physically, I am instinctively compelled to comfort them. And then I have to go someplace to be alone.

Yesterday, as I was YouTubing on my phone while making dinner, you popped up as a suggested Video. What not to say to an INFJ. I wasn’t going to watch anymore of these videos for a while, but something told me to watch your video. You speak from first-hand experience. And I know how hard it is to open up as you have. But you are helping people who have been living in isolation, like me. You are helping people find a living community.
I grew up in the 50’s and 60’s with parents who were emotionally reserved and very strict and had no time or patience for emotionally sensitive children. I was a good kid and supported my parent’s efforts. They provided well for me. But I was conditioned to conform. Unfortunately, you can’t conform someone like me. So, After I left home, I took the good things my parents gave me and incorporated them in my life, and took the things that at were missing and made sure I treated others thusly. The only people who accepted me for who I was were my grandparents and my Aunt. They passed years ago, as has my best friend. Thank you for helping me make sense of my past and showing me that I am not the only one walking this earth who is like me.
    Sincerely,
    Sharron Hamric

Hi Sharron, thank you SO much for this lovely comment!
This part particularly resonates with me: "I took the good things my parents gave me and incorporated them in my life, and took the things that at were missing and made sure I treated others thusly."
I had to take that step with a particular business I was in - the head of the company was a full-on narcissist though I didn't really detect that at first. I split and formed my own company and when I did this is exactly how - took the good things I learned, identified what was missing, and made a promise to be those things with the new organization moving forward, and we did SO well when I learned how NOT to treat customers.
Again, much thanks, I'm so glad the video resonated!

She just looked at me wide eyed and said “I can’t talk about it”. It’s just how our brains work. i found out yesterday that i was INFJ. when i was young and inexperienced i had "thoughts" about people and their secrets. those thoughts came to my mind while watching or talking with them and seemingly out of the blue. For instant: this person has a secret lover , or this person abuses children....I tossed those thoughts , thinking why i think so bad about people, my thoughts are bad.
Turns out my thoughts about people where always right !
Now i am much older and i do generally trust my intuition.
i am still fighting in my head with those intuitive thoughts , and over the years i wished i was bolder about speaking it out aloud .to help not only the victims, but also the person doing it. i useally do not confront but look for ways to bring it out into the open if it needs to be.

I had a brief meeting with her and we talked about the details etc......and I had a sense this woman is trying to escape herself or trying to better herself. I let her move in and well......she had a drug addiction she was trying to get away from the influences but fell back into them. She looked like someone who only experienced the drug, alcohol life but knew there was something better but didn’t know what.
I was right ...... she did end up going to jail, I visited a a few times....gave little money . Encouraged her to study but she tried that already and drugs got the better of her.
Now she is clean for 2 years...... we speak still ......and she is studying and still overcoming other things but at 32 years old she would say I was the only positive person that showed her something encouraging . I like to think she already knew there was better, I only helped her see that she was right.

Sometimes I sense things about other people and it takes me weeks or months to realize that my instinct was correct but my ego doesn't want to see it. After working at a lab for less than a week and having met the director a couple of times, I blurted out to my supervisor that he seems to be only concerned with what benefits him personally. She mumbled "he's only been here a few days and he figured this out." Being in an audit section she decided this was a useful trait in an auditor. Other times I want to trust people but get burned and eventually I realize I knew all along that the person was going to be trouble but being naive or idealistic, I kept insisting it would work out, preferring to see the good in the person instead of the whole.

Adults thought I was amusing and often had fun at my expense. Now at 64 I have of course found a sense of peace and a way to let the other stuff go. I am glad I found your videos and am enjoying your to the point information about INFJ. Another story...
In my twenties (many moons ago) I was dating someone. The relationship had been going for about a year. At the time I was still naive and hadn’t fully trusted my intuitive abilities yet (at that stage I thought everyone experienced things similar to me). This girl was a few years older than me. She wasn’t a full disclosure type person, but I never really pressured her to open up about her past. I definitely sensed that there were gremlins in the closet though.
I woke up one morning after an uncomfortable dream and was in that infj distant mood trying to process my weird dream (and awkward accompanying emotion). My girlfriend kept asking what was wrong. After initially trying to brush it off (it was just a weird dream after all) I told her that I had dreamt that she was previously married which made me feel strange. Well... her face turned pale and she became awkwardly uncomfortable. I asked her what was wrong. After a few moments, she hesitantly said the infamous words “... there is something I have to tell you...”
Turns out she was secretly married in court for about a month some years before I met her... she had the marriage annulled after realizing her mistake. She hadn’t told anyone. Not even her somewhat close family knew about this. It was a part of her life she had completely tried to block out for years. You can imagine her staggering amazement (and mine) that I had tapped into that through a dream. This was when I really began understanding my gift (and sometimes curse) of intuition. Since then I started to trust my gut feelings and develop them... which had been there since childhood.
Thinking back over this story many times, there is noooo waaaay I could’ve sensed that exact situation cognitively, or subconsciously. She was so secretive about it. I knew there was something about her past, but NEVER contemplated a previous marriage as a possibility.
Coincidence?... possible. However, in hindsight after learning to trust this, I truly believe a much deeper 6th sense was at play.

    • @DavidBadurina
      @DavidBadurina  4 роки тому +4

It's amazing stuff, no doubt. And I understand wanting to attribute it to a 6th sense. Perhaps it's just the label for the same thing: deep intuition speaking to you. Personally, I will always argue against calling it mystical, ESP, 6th sense, what have you. A tuned intuition that you trust and have learned to listen to? Sure. And we do tend to focus on the times where it speaks to us the loudest (I have those moments too), and we quickly forget the moments where something obvious happened that we did not see coming. I'd be even more hesitant to describe the rare moments as 6th sense, and those moments of absolute blindness to what was going on as coincidence. I believe it would be the other way around.
It is more likely that there was a thing that you noticed (subconsciously, not consciously) that started putting those puzzle pieces together to eventually draw that conclusion. Perhaps a feeling, perhaps something that was said, perhaps a look or a micro-expression she gave in terms of talking about prior relationships that started that puzzle being placed together? I'd say that's the most likely circumstance.
Ultimately, we're just talking about a hunch and the underlying reason it appears. I get that.
I'd caution against anyone translating subconscious processing into magic and mysticism because I think it's ultimately unhealthy from a standpoint of self-growth. But again, we all have our own way (I'm certainly not begrudging yours, I hope you don't take it that way). Either way, I appreciate your contribution on this page and for discussion! I'm curious to see if others respond as well!

You describe this really well. It makes me feel weird/uncomfortable when people talk about introverted intuition like a sixth sense. You're totally right; not a magic power, but we are picking up on so much data that others aren't attuned to. That said, it is really awesome to have a brain the processes this way! Thanks for the video!

Yeah. It was very scary. I would seem to be able to predict things and it would spook me. But I figure. I’m really picking up on things. Just not realizing it. 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂 I do that with songs. Restaurants. Lol. 🤣🤨😂😂 things that happened yrs ago. The weirdest though are things that come to pass. That you knew were going to happen. That’s spooky. But I agree. I have a gut feeling that I will be a very popular speaker one day. It is a weird feeling because it scares me as it seems overwhelmingly exhausting, but I feel like I know it’s going to happen. Maybe this is because everyone tells me I am great at speaking when I speak at churches and leadership conferences (though I feel uncomfortable receiving compliments).
Also, since I was a kid I have felt like I would have a lot of money growing up and could use it to help people. A company I have cofounded just raised 1.4 million dollars. Neither of these two intuitions could become true as the company could fail or I could not gain any traction with speaking, but it feels like I know deep down they will. I can’t really explain it.

Have you ever been able to predict things? Like for example, I am almost always able to tell when someone I know is pregnant. I have known about 3 pregnancies in my office for the last 3 months and they finally just announced things this month. How crazy, right? I think it's something to do with noticing subtle changes in bodies and body language, mannerisms, or imperceptible (to others, anyway) changes. We take in all these changes and adjustments and somehow, somewhere in our brain, it clicks into place and WE KNOW.
I've also always been able to tell when a not-so-great event is coming up or when a meeting is going to be disciplinary/negative. It's just...the atmosphere or something in the room. Ni just picks up all these weird nuances, which I have no control over, and then I find myself saying "Oh, this won't be good" and my coworker just looks at me like I'm crazy...until I'm right.

I think that's a big part of how Intuition works, so YES. Like when something is just going to be bad juju and you know it is. A lot of time for me it just manifests as a really unsettling feeling, then wham. There's not a lot of time to process or react to it, but it's there. I think it just happens really fast without realizing it when there are other moods that are being analyzed subconsciously. Never for pregnancy though!

I became an LVN [practical nurse]. While in school the teacher was giving us the symptoms of liver problems when I burst into tears. The teacher ask what was the matter and I replied " I just realized that my Mother is dying." She was a cancer survivor of 27 years and it was indeed back and now in her liver. There's an old saying in nursing that if the cancer has made it to your liver you can kiss your butt goodbye. The first patient I tended after graduating was my Mother as she died of cancer. Sometimes this knowing hurts like HELL.

Two weeks before the Twin Towers were attacked, I saw it happen in a vision through the eyes of a witness 3 blocks away. I had no idea what the smoke was from, I thought a bomb. There was mass panic, we all thought we were next and so were trying to get to safety. I was in a support group online and told them about it as several lived in NYC. They assured me it was impossible so I left it at that. 2 weeks later at 8:30 am I am preparing for a doctor visit and see the news about 9/11 I called everyone to the TV. "THAT IS MY DREAM VISION!!" I couldnt believe it was right there in my face. Not intuition.
3 days before the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded I had another dream vision, this time I see an aircraft, I hover near its wing and a piece of tile flies off from the front of the craft and hits the left wing. It catches fire with a spark then explodes. I remember trying to find details on the plane before it exploded (I had no idea it was the shuttle), I could only make out the word AMERICA on the side back I believe it was the rear anyway. Sooo, I told they guys in the group about it right away, I wanted witnesses just in case. You see, when you have visions during rest time, it feels VERY different. You are quite lucid and feel awake yet calm, and always wake up immediately afterwards with a strange feeling of knowing this was important. You feel anxious.
I have had many such experiences including overseeing my husband and BF at work, as in remote viewing conversations etc. I dont try to do it, it just happens.
A week before my brother tripped and flew through a large glass window while running through the house, I saw it in a dream vision and had seen he had a large cut on his chest. I woke up crying thinking he might die because there was a piece of glass lodged in there. I was just 15 at the time so I decided it was just a nightmare, nothing to worry about. A week later it happened exactly as I had seen it. I was so freaked out by that! He still has the scar on his chest. Not intuition.
Its ok to be psychic and INFJ, its ok if you arent. It doesnt mean we all are psychic, and it doesnt mean we are psychic all the time. For me its random mostly because I choose it to be now. I did study development classes to hone in my skills and was invited to MENSA for whatever reason ( Im not a joiner in many things like social silliness) however it all comes with a lot of baggage. I prefer a peaceful simple life.
I've seen so many things that have come to be. That was a part of my book. I never let it go public though. Who would believe it? I didnt want to hurt my family because I was weird.

I have had such a difficult time trying to understand the concept of Ni. However, your explanation makes it joltingly clear. Which is weird because I'm an INFP. It happens infrequently to me, and completely without warning, leaving me in a complete loss of understanding. I't leaves me feeling like I just stepped into the Twilight Zone. I was a critical care nurse when I experienced a bizarre example of this. I walked into an E.R. full of gifted veteran staff members, and was immediately aware that a patient wasn't breathing without examining him. I automatically began resusitative measures, signally to the shocked E.R. staff the gravity of the situation. It felt like what some label a synchronicity. I was no more skilled than any other member of the E.R staff. It just happened. And instantaneously! Thank heaven I'm not an INFJ. My heart couldn't stand too much of that kind of thing. Whenever those moments happened they always involved other people in a person to person contact. I never had any ability to predict future events.

Introverted intuition, to me, feels like my subconscious is some great and powerful, but inscrutable and sometimes painfully slow clockwork machine that constantly processes all the inputs, experiences and simutuli of my day to day life, digests them down to find the common, recognizable patterns, and then just kinda poops insights into my conscious mind, unceremoniously and without warning. It can be quite abrupt, lol. 😂

I’m an INFJ and I have had some pretty strange things happen to me because of my intuition. The one that’s hardest to explain has to be that time when I touched the door handle on my car and I just knew that was going to be the day I got a speeding ticket. Who knows, perhaps it was a “self fulfilling prophecy” or something. But I had never had a speeding ticket before or since lol.

You explained this so well and I most often use the analogy of a puzzle. I find it to be around people that need all the other evidence because it’s not how it works for us. It’s not a conscious activity that we embark on to prove something. when you know you know. Some people really think I put in effort to knowing stuff that took no effort at all, and that I didn’t even know I knew till the moment I knew it lol. it’s exhausting to even attempt to explain . Some people have even gone to the extent of stalking for lack of a better word because they think I’m stalking them I guess or … as if I’m dedicated to finding out whatever it is that I literally would never do because I’ve never had to and that would be weird.

I do like the definition and view of intuition as a cognitive function being about pattern recognition. Totally agree and it's a great explanation.
It's just too bad we use the same word as this other type of intuition... I think that's where the confusion comes about. If they are different things, then there should be different words. Are they connected? I don't know. But I can't deny psychic abilities beyond advanced pattern recognition. Not unique to INFJs... but there is something deeper to be experienced if we go there. :P

my intuition is more the collation of connecting dots subconsciously, becoming conscious. But since I learned to actively collaborate with my subconscious, the flow can be shockingly quick or 4am in the morning. When I'm in trance with a hypnotherapy client, I'm certain that she ( my subconscious ) is participating. There! Phenomenal. I'm never alone. I'm rarely wrong, and it seems more like intuition on steroids.

Introverted intuition is an entertaining experience. To me it’s like my life is the movie Inception while understanding Inception from inception. I literally can not imagine how other people function without this function. Introverted intuition is one reason why I can self-entertain 😅 I’m busy enough with myself and some people don’t have insight into their own insight 😅 .. so I’m like.. what are we even doing in this moment 😂 And yet I am an extroverted introvert who works intimately and effectively with people most days. I love people and I love solitude. Great video. Also, David, I think you are attractive.

Usually when I express this intuition (as an INFJ) I’m correct.
However, for whatever reason I don’t know, no one believes me.
About few months ago my dog began to start acting a bit more energetic than usual and kept hitting her hind legs bruising them.
I didn’t feel too bad because she always healed up within the next two days.
Then I started to notice that her bruises weren’t healing and ended up convincing my parents to take her to the vet.
I asked about why her hind legs weren’t healing and they just brushed me off as crazy (literally).
Then fast forward a month and my dog suddenly has to be rushed to the vet in an emergency.
Luckily she lived, but the vet said that if she had come any later, my dog would have died.
Of course I really cared about my dog and wanted to help.
I feel like if the vet and my parents had listened to me when I brought up my dogs unusual bruises that she would not have almost died.
It honestly made me mad that no one cared enough to listen to me.
It made me feel as if I was alone and crazy.
So, I honestly quite using/expressing my intuition for a while because I felt as if I was crazy if I did.
I’ve learned since this incident, (after analyzing the situation like crazy), that I can trust my intuition and I am slowly getting back into it.
I wonder if anyone else had a similar experience, as in no one believing what you’re saying.....

You just made me feel a lot better about the words to songs you have never heard before. I am friends with a lot of musicians and dated one in my early 20s but even listening to the radio at night under the covers (many books were read far past bedtime that way as well) when I was supposed to be sleeping songs would come on and Wolfman Jack would announce that he was playing the new song by whatever band and there I am singing along to the lyrics in my head and knowing the words. I don't play an instrument nor can I read music so it is not a musical background thing.
I have gone back and forth with musicians and when they can't think of the next line of the song, they'd ask me and I helped them out. It's a game for me.
I was telling a friend about that about 10 years ago and he said that I should have been listed as one of the songwriters because that's where the money comes from. I think he had at least 6 gold records or more and had done the musical composition for a popular play. I think he wanted to knock me upside the head for not taking credit for my input. Everytime they performed songs that were written by others, the royalties went to the songwriters.
It does make it hard because I can come up with a song with lyrics in my head but I lack a translator that can make it into something. I can only tell them to think of how a certain song by a band sounds and that it should have that kind of tempo. I have hauntingly sad or emotional songs that I think of that are locked in my brain with the hamster that fell off the wheel again.

The way it happens for me is when someone is looking at something or it may be an expression on their face that they have when they have said something before and when they are about to say it again, I will remember that and I will finish their sentence. I really like that you explained how we can figure the intuitive connection. I don’t worry about it much but sometimes I chased down those connections too. I also want to comment about picking up on people’s feelings. Occasionally, with people I’m really close to, I’ll call them out and they often deny they’re having those emotions, I don’t know if I’m wrong or they are unaware. And I think you meant ‘nothing ‘mystical’ or course it hardly matters after the fact.

There are quite a few people in my family with either ASD or ADHD. I briefly wondered if I could have ADHD, until I actually learned about what ADHD is, and realized that my executive functioning might actually be the opposite of those with ADHD, meaning it works extra well. I did have OCD as a child, that started very early and was very intense(fortunately it’s not that bad anymore), and I think there is probably a connection between being INFJ and having OCD. I’m going to attempt to give my son, who’s 12 and actually has ADHD, the MB test today. He’s excited. My daughter has aspergers and is INTP(we are very compatible), which is fortunate. Actually, I read a few days ago that OCD is kind of the opposite of ADHD, if that makes sense. I’m gonna look into that some more. Damn, I say “actually” too much.

We are like walking radars, personally I am discovering this concept of infj since a couple of days that videos popped up on my UA-cam feed, and wow, I don't know if I am one but I definitely relate to what you just presented! I am always the first or the only one to recognize certain things going on in people and all this gathering of information, the more I grow old the more I feel like I can tell so many things about people but I wouldn't be able to explain because I know it comes from logical cues but is is so fine and tiny addition of so many things that no one would be really interested to know where I am coming from. And listening things about this infj concept makes me realise or let's say, put in perspective so many aspects of my personality that I never consciously could grasp but which definitely in most settings makes me be the odd one, the one who is going to bring up the issues, the one who will speak about what no one bothers to deal with but which definitely is an issue. And one bigg problem I face with this '' intuition '' is that really sometimes you are so aware about someone's issue, that you feel the urge to deliver the message to that person but more often than not, that person is really not a tuned with him or herself and really not ready to listen and will discard and become extremely defensive and I think sometimes people feel violated really. And I start to understand that I should probably sometimes accept more to allow people to come to their truth at their own pace otherwise as right as I may be, I can be way too ahead, and it is a journey of self discovery that I have to respect for people to have. But it is so hard because I feel this urge to share all my science about certain things when people really are not interested or not ready... Brefff...the issue is complex...
But that's crazy to discover that some people (you guys) know all this about me now, I never thought that my peculiarity had been already studied and could be scientifically presented to me... It feels weird... All those things I never could name about my own functioning is now externalised that's so... Undescribable... So many things about my personality that I always felt odd about are magically being named, described, rationalise, and all linked haha which I neve r really thought about

I had no fore thought of the words about to come out of my mouth: I took one look at her face and said, " what is it? It's Bart, hes dead isn't he"!?! Sadly, he was.

Well...that’s definitely part of what the intuition is.
Can I help as a mystic with over 15 years of studying Buddhism (meditation increases it), Quantum Physics, Hinduism and many occult and old wisdom ways? In other words I have studied the subject of Intuition and used it being an INFJ for most of my life. I have a psychic healing business that helps others heal or get advice using the intuition.
The reason why intuition is considered “scarily accurate” is because we can attribute it to quantum entanglement. It is not magic, it is science we don't understand yet fully, but are discovering every day.
When people tap into their intuition, they are tapping into a shared collective truth, or at the very least for another they connect to in that moment. This is why we yawn after we see one another yawn, or cry when we see others cry. The quantum entanglement is more what the intuition is really about, if we want to get into subatomic particles of that is reality and matter, and what connects us all.
This is why INFJs are good at connecting others, they have the “pieces” of information that can do this at times.
It’s more deeper, but it’s a sixth sense based on the Third Eye-ajna intuition state reaching this place of interconnection and knowing with “all that is”. Recognizing patterns and such is only a part of how piecing together the pieces of information works. We are not always right, but we are right more often than being wrong for our gift. Other Myers Briggs personality types have other gifts.
Please read about the Third Eye-Ajna chakra of Hinduism (not from wiki from Hindu sites) and what that says more, you will be amazed at the ancient wisdom about the intuition, it’s not “woo”, it’s reality how this universe works.
There is a reason why INFJs are rare they say, to have this ability makes life a bit hard and a rare opportunity with responsibility to tap into this of the collective of humanity.
There is much more than you are talking about, could be fear to admit this stronger part of yourself. Everyone has it, but INFJ has the ability to look within and awaken very easily to help others in need to get out of the dream, as Carl Jung suggested.
INFJs are "Jedis" or sages, but we can teach others how to become one too, or offer the world our special gift to help ourselves and others in times of need.

    • @DavidBadurina
      @DavidBadurina  4 роки тому +2

I agree that it's incredible to learn how to tune yourself in to your intuition. It takes stepping back from circumstances and daily nonsense and really understanding what your head is trying to piece together for you. Those little feelings of being unsettled during the day feel very much like shouts from your intuition.
The only thing I caution against is considering INFJs as higher enlightened mystical Jedis. I don't believe it's a healthy view at any time, ever, because I believe it excuses younger INFJs from the hard work, experience, and time it takes to actually develop into a healthy and balanced adult, mentally. That takes time, experience, relationships, interactions, failures, and a lot of self-growth.
More likely it's, "I took this test, and I'm an INFJ, I'm like a mind reading Jedi! I'm SO COOL!" and then you get tons of ridiculous videos and pop-science articles everywhere talking about the INFJ third eye and all kinds of nonsense when most of them are mis-typed anyway.

    • @ElvenWisdom
      @ElvenWisdom 4 роки тому +2

@@DavidBadurina I definitely get what you are doing, it is very INFJ, we want to make things fair and take into the consideration of others. But I am into empowering others now, through using the intuition because you are correct, it is not only INFJs who have this ability, but their mind processes makes it easier for them to get in touch with to teach others how to use it. I honestly believe we have this ability. I use it and I see the comments below other INFJs realize it, and I believe you have it too.
Carl Jung is said to be an INFJ, and it makes complete sense why.
We are not the only ones with the Jedi powers ;) I call them Tolkien Elven "Galadriel" powers in my case lol. I am going to have a whole series on Using the Intuition soon to help others because I have realized this about my brain process. Love your channel!

I have 1 polydactyl cat that identifies as a dog (when your cat does a single bark sound and alerts you to something going on outside a certain window it's a little freaky), a kitten that identifies as a parrot, and one who is the sweetest cat you could ever hope for. Every day is special and new in her world. I'm starting to develop a phobia from my kitten landing on my shoulders from wherever she was above me. She jumps on my shoulder and wants me to walk around the house so she can look for new places to land on me from. That's going to sound very 5150 in therapy though.
Two of our cats survived the Camp Fire and left with me during it. We're in a small rental that's definitely not a part of Mr. Roger's neighborhood, so it could be part of why he is always guarding. I don't think they got much smoke inhalation (whole damn town was burning and exploding but our poly was traumatized as we caught him on the last chance before being forced to leave him behind so he left in a pillowcase during the fire. He was the last thing to ever leave our home. Teaching him to beg was my doing but it got so bad my friend couldn't open the fridge without him sitting up begging for a treat when she was here. Oops.
So you are definitely a Jedi. Use the force. You are the chosen one.

I could never explain it to her. I just knew what was in the package.
And I used to finish what she was saying all the time.
She would have horrible nightmares and start screaming in her sleep, but I would always wake up to comfort her just before she would start screaming. I was never startled awake, I just woke up and knew I need to comfort and quiet her ahead of her screams.

WOW! You have accurately described my many life experiences. For instance we had to pick a color to paint my husband's grandma's wooden shingles on her house. I looked at the choices for less than a min and picked one but we had to wait for the rest of the family to agree...they all picked my color. There are many more examples but the more important thing to me was describing the somewhat random process to get to an answer. It happens all the time and it drives my ISFJ husband crazy cause we all know that type has to go through the logical thinking process before making a decision ;-) We've been driving each other crazy for 30 years!
