Thanks for sharing Trey!!! I just broke a rod not too long ago and was gonna scrap it but your right on time with this one!!! Looking forward to part 2 👍👍👍
Hang on to that rod, and if you find another broken rod in your local area...keep it. That's what I'm using for my internal splints. I went out and tested my first repair last night, and I landed 10 on it, and it held up great...and the action felt good. I hope you and your family are doing well Mr. Patrick. Be safe brother, and thanks so much for stopping by.
I would not eat that bologna sammich after that! I am afeared that there would not be a part 2! Great information Trey and as always the candor and reference was second to none. I am going to start sharing all of your content again and see if we cannot get you the subs that you so richly deserve. (You are one of the top 4 fishing personalities on UA-cam as far as I am concerned) Love ya brother!
LOL!! 🤣 Karen knows better than to mess with my sammich!! What better way to make a boring tutorial, than to be offensive!! I greatly appreciate your friendship Mr. Tony. I'm always excited to read your entertaining comments. I hope you and your entire family are doing well. Be safe brother!! Thanks for all you do.
How's it going Mr. John? I took this rod out this week to stress test it for the video. I've landed 10 so far with it...and it's held up great, and the action feels the same...as well as the balance. If I put less than $300 in a couple pieces of equipment, I think I could fix most rods with a somewhat personal finish. I hate throwing things away, if they can be fixed.
Brother this is probably the funnest how to video I've ever watched. I might have to watch it a few times because i have grunt brain, but it'll hit me. I like the truffle shuffle remark, I was waiting for Chunk to pop up... 😆. Can't wait for 2
What better way than to make a boring tutorial a little 🤏 more entertaining than by being offensive!! Sorry ladies, it was a joke. 🤣😄 You might just see a guest appearance from Chunky Beard on part 2. I've been experimenting with something. I hope you are doing well Mr. Matt.

I'm sorry to hear that about Mrs. Tobi. I'll be praying for her surgery, and a complete recovery. If I can help in any way, send me a private message. Love you brother!!
@@fishsmack thanks brother I greatly appreciate the prayers, kind words and constant uplifting... just need to keep putting on foot in front of the other. I've made it this far...
I’m already looking forward to part 2. Loved the history of the fishing rod. Knock on wood, I’ve never broke a rod but, I’m getting older and clumsier so it’s probably going to happen. Great video Trey.
I'm not sure Jobuck, but I think that fishing information on Wikipedia was not that accurate! 🤣 I appreciate ya brother. I hope you have a blessed week.
Thank you Mr. Dan. I figured, what better way to make a boring tutorial, than to be offensive!! 🤣 I know those ladies that fish will be good sports!! I hope!! 😬 I hope you and your wife are doing well buddy.
Thank you so much TJ! I appreciate that buddy. I'm trying something a little different to try and break up the redundant material. I hope all is well. Thanks for all your support. Much appreciated brother.
Ohhh...I hate to hear that!! If you ever see a broken rod, pick it up...That's what I use for my eternal splints. I just found an entire lower section this week. I went out and tested a repaired rod last night, and I landed 10...and it held up awesome, and the action felt good. I need some beard butter!! My beard is getting a mind of its own!! I hope you doing well.
Thank you so much Sean! I thought I would try something different to change up the videos. Do you think it would be better to have 1 last longer video, or break it up in 10 minute videos?
Dang it Cody! Were you pulling that blade back towards yourself? I figured that Canadian were so tough, that that blade would just graze off of you! How bad was the cut?
Thank you Mr. Mark! It's not the type of video I would like to work on, but I thought I would try something different. I hope you doing well brother. Be safe.
Hey awesome video FishSmack but I can’t repair it it’s to thin at the tip to repair and I can’t really afford all the materials it awesome video and congratulations on 400 subscribers
Thank you Mr. Jack! I appreciate that buddy. Do you think Bass Pro will let you return the rod? If not, can you shorten the rod and just add on a tip guide? They have the assorted pack of tip guides in several different sizes on Amazon for $11. Other than that, you would just need epoxy.
Love the intro- I have only broken one rod in my fishing history, it was an ugly stick, broke half into - did I mention it sat in the garage for about 10 years without use ? Nice information for those that would under take it, I don't feel like I would be one of those people unless left with no other options. I buy cheap stuff anyhow LOL
Thank you Mr. James! I hung on to a cheap rod that I broke years ago, so when I broke one of my good rods...I had the needed material to fix the good rod. With the way things are going, we may have to learn how to fix things like our grandparents and great-grandparents did during the depression. I feel like it's coming. I hope you are doing well brother. There's nothing wrong with buying cheap!! I do the same thing. 😃
Hope you’re doing well Trey! This was an outstanding video! From the intro to mid production, this was a very professional and stylish video that really keeps your attention. Thank you Mr. Keith, I greatly appreciate that. If things go down hill here in Tennessee, I may have to start a cheap business, fixing broken fishing rods. I'm pretty certain if I can do this, I know you could pull it off. I hope you are doing well. Congrats on your new PB for 2022!
