The official music video totally conveys the narrative and takes it to another level. It’s a great point that you made , she has so many layers that are often overlooked because of the media attention on her more controversial work. Awesome reaction 👏👏
MADONNA IS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ARTIST IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC WITH 400 MILLION COPIES AND SINGLES SOLD, SHE IS IN THE GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS WITH THAT TITLE FOR 25 YEARS.
Bad Girl was technically not a deep cut as it was released as the 3rd single off her Erotica album - with limited success as it only peaked at number 36 on the billboard Hot 100 breaking her streak of 27 straight top 20 singles. It was during the time there was significant media and public backlash over her Sex book and the perceived overly “sex charged” Erotica album. The interesting thing is Erotica album explored all sides of sexuality including addiction and the ugly. Love what you said about not buying into the “narrative”. The world loves to tare successful people down particularly if they push a lot of buttons as Madonna has. As others have said - the music video, directed by David Fincher explores the downside of destructive behavior and takes it to another level.
Thinking of how Madonna managed to release non stop successful songs and albums throughout the 80's, 90's and 2000's blows my mind. Also music videos, live performances, tours, and she's getting ready for a new album release in 2025 while pushing 67! At this point i can't even think of this life without her, crazy as it sounds. She's been a strong presence since i can remember, literally the first vinyl record i ever bought was re-mixes of Madonna's 80's hits. I mean other artists could even outsell her in this digital era, but her impact in Pop culture is huge and unparalleled, The Queen Of Pop.
Love that your enjoying this often overlooked side of Madonna. You might like "Drowned World/Substitute for Love" (1998) "Live to Tell" (1986) you may have heard as it was a massive hit, but it's one of the first examples of her as a highly emotional, slightly mysterious balladeer. And still one of the best songs she's ever written.
I love that you're reacting to these songs that are not necessarily her most popular ones, and I love it that you're reacting to the live versions. Another one you should do is "Candy Perfume Girl" live from the Drowned World Tour. She rocks it and it's fire 🎸🔥🤘
Masterful performance. You’re right on point on her sentiments in this song which she superbly portrayed in the amazing official music video she made of this track. Appreciate your insight and for covering Madonna’s music and artistry. Btw, I believe that base player in the band used to play for the fusion jazz supergroup Weather Report. Thank you.😊
@@SaeedReacts. She performed a second amazing number-Fever-in this SNL guest appearance. The funky, groovy band backing her had two former members of Weather Report: the late Victor Bailey on bass, and Omar Hakim on drums.
This is an amazing song. If you love this song, you must check out all her ballads. She is a master story teller and she really knows how to deliver a ballad to give you all the feels.
Whoever is picking these live performances for you is bringing the fire. This is such a good song and she wrote it. It gives me vibes that someone like Edith Piaf could have sung something like this. She is waaaaayyy more than a pop diva.
Great reaction! Madonna is amazing live. Take a look at vogue from reinvention tour. It’s not a deep cut…but you can see the other side of how she performs. I saw this reinvention tour live and ut inspired me in so many ways, it changed my life. ua-cam.com/video/QOzDcw82q70/v-deo.htmlsi=FRSfyAZTrSNaPBGB
Hi, you did a great reaction to an amazing performances. 💙 I strongly recommend you react to Live To Tell from the Confessions Tour. It's a very powerful and controversial take on the song. 💥💥
@@willynilly2545 shaky at the start for sure but later on quite okay. She’s not a Witney or Celine but she knows to put emotion into her voice and the song.
Badgirl official music video is one thee most cinematic music videos ever made. Great story telling by director David Fincher. One of Madonna's best.

Drop everything and watch the video !
The entire Erotica album is a Masterpiece.
The accompanying David Fincher video version tells a story that makes it much better. Her "Oh Father" is great too.
Will look it up. Thanks for the recommendation.
I think David Fincher directed that, too.
@@jellyrollnorton Yes, that's what I mean. He directed both, and both videos add greatly to the poignancy of the songs.
The one and only QUEEN OF POP 👑 period

Amazing performance. When she’s on, she’s on. It her life

She would finally sing this song again thirty yrs later during her Celebration tour! It was worth wait with her daughter on piano.

Enjoyed that one 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Hope you are enjoying your break 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Waiting on a shopping wife as we speak 😅😄
Amazing but you must, must see the offical video.
I think you'd like the song Oh Father with the music video ❤
She was ill during this performance and still she nailed it.
She played this on her tour earlier this year. First time since this performance. It was magical.
The video for this song is dark and dramatic! She knows how to tell a story!
Try react Madonna - Sooner or Later (Live at Oscars). Merry Xmas

Well it's not bad for madonna. She even got some of the notes in the right order. Well done.
Well of course. She's a pro (and a perfectionist) 👍
@jamesr2164 I admired the look of concentration on her face.
She can’t really hold a note can she?
